I contacted another Podiatrist, who asked if Dr Peterson had shared with me that it would be a difficult surgery? No, I shared, he actually said it would be an easy fix. I have been trying since Oct 2016 to obtain a copy of my records so I can review them myself and share them with my current Podiatrist. Finally, a week ago, I was given paperwork regarding the surgery (1 1/2 sheets and a photocopy of foot - not even the real x-ray but a photocopy!) I have called SO many times and the Dr Peterson simply does not return the phone call. When I stop by his office, I am informed it is NO longer his office that he just works out of the office which is now owned by another Podiatrist. The front office sympathizes with me and said they have shared with Dr Peterson the many times I have called. If they could help me they would, but his records from prior are not stored there. I'm going to contact the State for assistance as well as try one more time to speak with Dr Peterson. I have informed the front desk, that I need them to share with Dr Scott Price, Podiatrist. This surgeon is aware of the poor job he did on my foot and offered to discount a second surgery! I would NEVER let him touch me or anyone else I know for that matter. So, to be helpful to others and hopefully stop him from doing BAD surgery to anyone else. BEWARE!!!!!

My knees had slowly been deteriorating since my 30-yr-old custom orthotics broke about 4 years ago. I thought I could just buy expensive arch support shoes/sandals, and have been. Everyone kept asking when I hurt my knees but I never had, it was just slowly getting so bad I couldn't walk downhill without feeling like my knees were getting chewed up. Then I thought about WHEN they started to hurt, realized it started about when my orthotics broke, took a chance and paid for orthotics out of pocket, BEST purchase I have ever made! SLOWLY, my knees are almost completely 100% after 6 months without PT exercise, surgery, etc. and I expect they will continue to heal. I have bought 3 pairs now. CUSTOM orthotics are life-savers, if your podiatrist watches you walk and aligns them, not just cast your feet. I remembered 30 yrs ago my podiatrist saying our whole bodies, back, all of it, need to start out right with proper orthotics. SO TRUE & SO WORTH IT! I'm playing pickleball again.
