Dr. Hayman has seen me at least six times in the past year. Due to failed back surgery 4 years ago, I regularly see numerous specialists. It's because of my exposure to so many different doctors and practices I can now spot: The best, great, good and terrible, care provided to me from the front office, the PA's to the doctor(s). I thought my first visit w%as exceptional, but likely they wanted to keep me as a patient. Not so! He's in my top 1% of doctors I've ever seen. At 54, with a super athletic background: avid double black diamond skier all over the Tahoe region since I was 14, raced snowmobiles for 20 years, raced Super-cross for 10 years, surfed Santa Cruz for 35 years, point made. At least 6 injuries required specialists from Stanford Medical to fix shattered bones replaced by metal rods, plates and screws. He's amazing at being consistently on time, but more importantly, instilled confidence in his ability from day one. He's a man of few words, never rude, concisely lays out that days treatment plan and if needed, the plans for ongoing care, with an anticipated outcome. While also providing the least and most optimal scenarios and an end date for treatment. I've heard "we'll see after the next appointment" and "I'm not going to promise anything" spoken like a disclaimer by 90% of the surgeons and specialists that treated me. When all I wanted to know was what to expect, best and worse case outcomes. Getting those answers to care that may last for many weeks was like I was asking for a promise. Dr. Hayman is a rare gem of a doctor these days. I rate his care as The Best! He's a gentle doctor, even when faced with a painful procedure. I wish he was my primary care provider! Even if you cannot get an appointment as quickly as you'd like, by waiting, you'll get the best medical care available in his chosen field. If you need care within a week, you probably need to go to an E.R., no joke. I can only hope he keeps practicing for a long time. I provided my athletic background and some life threatening injuries that required Medevac to pluck me from the Tahoe back-country. resulting in over a million dollars paid out in claims to date. So I truly know from where I speak, evaluating medical care. BTW, if you're involved in very dangerous back country sports and you could die where you lay, with no hope of life-saving medical treatment reaching you in time. I highly suggest you look into getting Medevac insurance. It just may save you from losing your home. Oh, one more time: Dr Hayman is the best! But, today I saw Dr. Demidowich for the first time and I'd see either one! read more

This was my first visit, I had problems receiving the E-Mails they sent me so that I could fill out the paperwork at home before my first visit, but the staff was very patient with me, and I was able to have it all ready for my visit, Dr. Lisa Demidowich, DPM was very gentle with my foot that I was having problems with for several weeks beforehand, She worked on both feet to make sure that I would not start having problems with it as well, She and her assantent were very patient and helpfull with the curent problems I was having and gave me the information I needed to take better care of my feet at home between visites, I would truly recomend this practise! read more

This is the only doctor I have found after 2 years and many doctors who knew what was going on with my leg and able to find a treatment plan! The office staff is friendly and helpful and always make me feel comfortable. Probably the best medical front office staff I have ever encountered. They are pleasant, professional, and efficient--they really seem to care about customer service and patient experience.
