They greet each customer and explain store layout. They are there to answer questions as they know extremely well their product. They go the extra step of ultrasonic cleaning their items. You can tell the owners put very of themselves into the store environment as it conveys like the owners a very laid back place. The pricing is very fair. Store is very clean and organized. My friend went to the restroom and came back wanting to leave because there was no t.p., but I went and got a young man who had the good grace to be embarrassed and to fix it promptly. I bought three books and got a very nicely prepared cup of coffee at the JoeMuggs area. The franchise has reduced the offerings at the area, but I was always a cup of coffee kind of person anyway. The cashier had to go across to a different register to preorder the new Prince Harry book for me, but it was handled efficiently and I got a reduced preorder price which included shipping to my home and is significantly less than I would have paid on Amazon (I checked). So, it was a pleasant visit to what is more bookstore than toy store and I saved a few bucks. Very nice.

I got to talking with one of the employees and learned that the bookstore that has been around in different forms since the 1920s!!! l. They carry a mix of new books, local authors, children's books and all kinds of quirky and fun gifts.. It's a great place to slow down, browse, and find something you didn't even know you wanted.
