Had a plumbing emergency yesterday, and was fortunate to have called Evergreen. Caleb (the…read moreproprietor) returned my call immediately after I had left a VM, and asked me about the nature of the problem (I wasn't sure, so I told him the symptoms and he formed an expert opinion on info provided). He had one of his guys, Gage, come out to see if he could help me. Gage was VERY professional and very much an expert on how to approach the problem. Long story short, my relay tank pump had gone bad. Gage had to find the relay tank (under the frozen, snow covered earth), extract and diagnose the pump, run to supply house to get needed replacement, and replace the pump. The temperature outside when Gage started was around 28 degrees, and it dropped to wind-chill of 8. When the job was nearing completion, Caleb came by to ensure Gage didn't need additional help and that everything was coming together okay. Having a sewer backup into your home is traumatizing and it was the first time this had happened to me. Caleb and Gage were both very empathetic and incredibly professional. I would absolutely 100 percent recommend Evergreen to anyone needing any sort of plumbing work done.

Sarah assured me she would have workers call me when they were in the area. Garrett R and Frank called and were there before 1. The smell was overwhelming but they both made me feel at ease right away. They were very respectful of my floors and leaving the door open etc. They worked hard at trying to get the blockage but weren't able too. They didn't just pack up and leave, they referred me to another company , called for me and they weee at my home within the hour. I would recommend both of them in the future to anyone needing plumbing repairs. A very positive experience because of them I will call again.

Delivery and service set ups were never a problem etc. Now, I try to order oil online as I do 50% of time and it says service not available and call AFC number. So, the girl proceeds to tell me because I'm not on automatic delivery during cold snap, I can't receive any oil for 4 to 5 weeks out. In December they wouldn't deliver my oil for up to 10 to 14 days because I wasn't low enough.(1/8) of tank??? So, I guess they must have started this conserve process back then. That's what I'm calling anyways. The girl on the phone yesterday tells me 1.) I can go somewhere else till cold snap is over. 2.) can put Kerosene or Diesel in my tank as needed till they can get there. 3.) Or close my account all together and go somewhere else. Which she said some of people were doing. So, I called Linda Ryan to verify and she pretty much in a nutshell said same thing. I asked if there was a shortage of trucks or oil. She said no, just that Automatic delivery people are getting oil first and they want to make sure they are taken care of first. So, I played the "game" called when I was down to a 1/8 of a tank this time so I wouldn't supposedly have to wait 14 days for oil and be told now you have to wait a month or better. WTH? Now I'm going to run out of oil in a week or less until I find a new delivery. Dead River buys them makes them bigger and now they can't deliver when it's cold? They should have a good amount of drivers compared to 30 years when they were a small oil company. If there was such a thing as oil discrimination, I would know what it feels like to be a part of the minority. Very disappointed @NOT VALUED OR NOT AUTOMATIC DELIVERY CUSTOMER!

Upon inspection FOUR various code and safety violations were found and the work must be redone, as per the state. 1-4 per state inspector 1.) Oil drum in the house unsafe and the inspector told me NOT to get oil. It can blow. It has to be replaced and , as per code, was to be done during install but John decided to cut corners and obviously put us in danger and now we can't order oil ( it's cold) til he get it all replaced. 2.)Direct Vent pipe ( which gets extremely hot) installed on the wood rafters and clearly against code and manufacturers recommendation. 3.) John did the electrical work himself and he is not an electrician when questioned he told me he was allowed to do HWT electrical. not true. that has to all come out as well and be redone at John's cost. 4.) Never pulled the required permit. So this is just what the state found. I was also not able to file my own rebates. John wouldn't provide the receipt. Took the rebate into his $22,279.00 Quote. teahouse that's right. OVER TWENTY TWO THOUSAND DOLLARS. The attorneys are helping with the later. So I was grossly overcharged for work that has to be redone and gone over by TWO inspectors now. and the kicker, Apparently he has a Master over him who is to be overseeing his work. found that out from the inspector too. well EDWARD L CURTIS was NEVER on premises.

BUYER BEWARE! RUN TO AN ALTERNATE OPTION!…read moreSeveral safety violations. He stated that there was no inspector to check his work but there is (and apparently he has a master that can check his work too) and if he has done work for you already then I suggest you have it checked by the state inspector lest you end up in a situation where the inspector says if you get oil your house may explode due to the safety violations left by John. He just opened his own company, which is this one, and in my opinion he has taken on more than his skill level currently supports. He also completed work he was no licensed to do but didn't want to hire an electrician so did it himself, another violation. He installed the wrong vent system (after he condemned my chimney which i question now if that was appropriate) and it's too close to the floor so that could catch fire according to the inspector. It takes a bit to go to the review board but his violations will show up on his license soon so this isn't just BS, call Paul Moody (heating) or Michael Day (plumbing), who are the inspectors in this area, I'm sure they can advise of his violations and yes the violations are from both his licenses bc he messed up so bad. Overcharges on all products and services. After checking prices on what he did there are several thousands of dollars that cant be accounted for and he refuses to give receipts or the accurate rebate amounts he received from my address after being told that i would do any rebates on my address or my equipment and still refuses to give any info. Lacks communication. Doesn't answer messages or questions or provide requested information or documentation. If he says he will provide something he just doesn't.

I called versatile plumbing and heating looking for someone to come out and provide an estimate for an entirely new heating system (boiler, baseboards, piping, all of it) in a residential home. Before even asking anything about the house or the job he instead asked how many other people I had looking at the job. When I said that I have had 2 other people look at the house and am looking to have 1 or two more estimates before making a decision he said that he was not interested in a job if more people were going to look at it. When I asked why he indicated that if there were more people looking at the job then I was just interested in comparing all of the estimates and choosing the cheapest one....Which is exactly true...because thats how business and estimates work. So apparently if you want the job to be high quality and competitively priced Versatile Heating and Plumbing is not interested in providing the work. I cannot say anything as to the quality of their work as he has not done any work on my home. But as a professional myself I would not trust any business that discourages getting multiple opinions and estimates. I imagine if I had gone ahead with Versatile a heating system would get installed but it most likely would be overpriced for the installed product. After one single conversation Mr. Patterson and Versatile Heating and Plumbing are definitely not worth my trust. I would suggest you call around...there are plenty of other plumbing and heating businesses out there willing to provide estimates and honest work.
