Knox County Child Support Agents, Virginia Adams and Tracy Driver have been working overtime on trying to get support for my son. Thanks, Tennessee Child Support Enforcement for trying to give my son a better future. My son's Father has never paid child support from May 2007-2012. I wished, I could have gotten Reto- child support payments from 2007-2012.

She told me what I needed to do after I lost my TX DL and needed to replace it with a TN DL and change my name (since I'd recently got married). I reached the DMV (State Drivers Center since I'm transferring), after an hour's wait, I tell the lady what I told Ms. Avis had told me and since I didn't have my current DL that I would need to come back with a TX "Surrender form". SURRENDER FORM! This form is used for folks who do not wish to drive, physically incapable of driving, have a certain type of DL for sex offenders, or ineligible to drive due to losing privilege's. I don't want to SURRENDER, I wanted to replace and convert it to TN. Anyway, if you call for help, Ms. Avis is a 5/5 stars which made up for my crappy service/unreliable information at Gore Road in Knoxville.

Got a partial tour of the vast Oak Ridge National Lab. Got to see the site of the first nuclear…read morereaction during the Manhattan Project. Afterwards got to see some of the enormous Spallation Neutron Source. Tons of really technical stuff most of which was way over my head. The history of Oak Ridge is fascinating and it was great to be able to see some of the lab in person. There is much, much more to the lab including the Y-12 National Security Complex and the US Department of Energy. Maybe on another visit. Right now my brain is full.

The…read morelibraries these days are very little and underutilized but as I have discovered we as taxpayers have been sleeping on a very very good resource. As there are over 10 locations in the Knox County area the Bearden one and the downtown one are my favorite locations. They have adequate space and you are allowed to be on the computer with Internet access for up to three hours per day, which is not bad at all. I've never experienced this one being over capacity or very crowded so there's always a good experience and enough books to check out here. If you want to just sit down with your child and read a few books while checking out some the maximum limits are very high and the service is great! Get back to the simple things in life.

There are kids' activities throughout the week, the schedule for which can be found on the website. The children's area at the Bearden branch isn't the greatest compared to others, but there is a good selection of books and plenty of seating.
