For many years, we had Sparklets Delivery and it was killing the bank. I happen to come across Koala-T-Water through recommendation from one of the local businesses in that strip mall. First of all, I was completely impressed on how easy it was. There's carts available to bring your 5 gallon jugs to be refilled. They have a really great system to alkaline the water and the water is delicious and tasty and I'm very very picky about my water. I only want the best. So we close down our account last year with Sparklets and I started going to get my water at Koala-T-Water. The gentleman there was professional, quick and friendly, an all-around nice guy. So now we only go to this establishment for ALL our alkaline purified water needs. I have been buying alkaline water for four years and since I moved to the area, I've been looking for a reliable and great water store and I found one. The water distributing machine has been improved in taking the bills and coins. Obviously Jake has been working on it. Recently Jack and Jake increased the price of the water by 10 cents per gallon. Usually they increased it by 5 cents. I remember it was 25 cents in 2013 when we first got water from the store. It's been over 12 years so it's reasonable that the price was increased to 50 cents per gallon. For me the new price is pretty good for the quality of the water. Everything increased in the past few years due to the inflation and other factors. read more

Most of the reviews are true. Water is fine. Customer service is pretty much non existent. Questionable hygiene. Did not see any CASH ONLY signs and I didn't know till after the fill. Make sure to have cash if not it'll be an awkward convo after. Cant recommend but if you've been coming here without issue then continue to do so. read more

The proprietor at Koala-T-Water...what a rude unfriendly person. I went in on a Saturday with no customers and he says to me "we don't do 1 --gallon fills" on a busy day!" There was absolutely no one in his store! He as just busy jawing with some guy with no water being serviced. I've been a regular customer there for multiple years and he treated me like a stranger and simply did not want to fill 1 gallon jugs. I will never go to this place again!! read more

Great quality water at 0-1 ppm dissolved solids, and great service. I just wish that their self service water dispenser took more than dollar bills or quarters. Most water stores also allow for a quick rinse of the bottle so that would be nice if that was an introduced feature or service read more

I went 10 minutes before they were closing not know what there hours were. The owner filled out two 5 gallon jugs for me. When I tried to pay he said that he only accepts cash. He then said that I could take my water and pay him back on the next time. I was shocked at his kindness and trust. I went back 3 weeks later to refill and pay my debt. I avoid coming here when open so I don't need to speak with the man who runs the shop. He's never been directly rude to me but I've seen him be rude to other customers and even closing the place early to avoid customers. It's not like he's friendly with me either, very much just there to fill water and nothing else. My main problem is their 24 hour water fill station located outside the building constantly refuses dollar bills for no reason and will even "eat" the dollars and not give you credit on the machine! The display will not show that it just took a dollar from you and the coin return button won't give you your money back since the display isn't showing that it took your money. I've seen this happen to other people as well where the display does show money but then will reset to $0.00 before they can finish inserting their money! I used to exclusively use this place since it was only $2 for a 5-Gallon jug but they raised their prices to match the $2.50 that everyone and every machine charges in the area so now I only use them when I have to, and that ended up being a mistake as their machine ate a dollar of mine so I ended up paying $3.50 for a 5-Gallon jug. The man who runs the shop is so unfriendly I doubt that telling him about the issue would solve anything, based on what I've seen and the other reviews here he'd probably refuse to refund me the dollar. TLDR: Water quality is just fine no complaints. Staff is often rude, doesn't wash his hands between handling money and filling water jugs, external water machine often eats your money. If you have another place or machine near by go with them. read more

I visit this store whenever I'm in the area. The water tastes great. The price for Alkaline is $2 per gallon. While it's a bit pricey, it passed the ph balance test. Customer service is good also. The water from the outside dispenser unit tastes great, however not alkaline. read more

In Mid May 2021 with all restrictions lifted this man still does not allow you to come inside the store. He has an awful attitude towards other clients. Zero manners. He didn't even wipe down the 5 gallon containers. Incredible! I asked the gentleman to wipe down the containers and he handed me a rag to do it myself. Never coming back here again! read more

The water here is so good. It tastes so delicious. I moved away for school and one of the first things I looked forward to when I came back for summer was drinking some delicious Koala-T-Water. The people who run and work at the shop are all very nice. I prefer to have them fill my water then to use the machine outside. My one complaint is that the machine wastes A LOT of water as it overfills, at least when filling for 3 gallons, so I just bring my 40 oz hydroflask and catch the extra water in there. read more

I come here often. The water here is filtered and obviously much more drinkable than tap water. The two gentleman who operate the store are kind. They run a clean store and provide a good product. It's faster to have them personally fill jugs than waiting at a machine, so I am glad they provide this service because city tap water is just not very drinkable. If I had one suggestion, I would suggest the shop owners consider being more price competitive, or at least reduce their outside vending option price by a nickel per gallon. Other filtered water vending machines found in strip malls and outside supermarket can be equally as effective, and much more convenient. read more

I went there for the first time last week to get alkaline water for $2.00 per gallon. I told the person, he is kinda short, with eyeglass, does not smile, serious...I said to him that it is my first time and did not say anything to me.....this is the best time to start a conversation to your customer like, welcome to the store, how can I help you..etc.........need better customer service. read more

I have been going to this store for a while. The guy that works is really nice. I have always had a tester that tests contaminate ppm. His water consistently tests at a very low ppm usually around only 5 ppm. The tap water in my area is around 220 ppm and the bottle water from the store is around 20 to 30 ppm. The problem I recently have had with this place is the ph. The advertised ph on the front window of the store is 7**, which is neutral. I have always trusted that the ph was good never bothering to test it. I recently decided to get a ph test kit to test my fish tank water. I decided to compare tap water, store bought bottled water and water from Koala-T-Water. I had an older batch of water and a current batch of water from Koala-T-Water to test. I was surprised to find that out of all the water sources I tested, Koala-T-Water was the most acidic. Tap water had a contaminate ppm around 220 and a ph of 8.0 at the time of testing. Store bought bottled water had a contaminate ppm of 022 and a ph between 6.0 and 7.0 at the time of testing. Koala-T-Water had a contaminate ppm of 005 and a ph between 5.0 and 6.0 at the time of testing. To be fair I wanted to give Koala-T-Water the benefit of the doubt so I tested an unopened bottle of Koala-T-Water from a 2 week old batch. The results for the ppm were the same but the ph was worse at 5.0. This water's ph is worse than tap water and store bought bottled water. I am going to compare water ph from other local water stores. I may be changing where I buy my water if I find a better source. I guess the fact that he advertises a 7** is what bothers me the most. With a name like Koala-T-Water and a contaminate ppm of only 005, I always assumed honesty and quality when it came to the advertised 7** ph on his store front window. read more

Water tastes fine, but be careful how much you're charged for the amount you get. If I didn't add it up myself, would've been charged almost double the price I was suppose to pay at $.30/gallon. That's a bit shady to me... read more
