Delicious and authentic Badisch cuisine, with great service and interesting (of course completely wooden) German decor! There's even a tree inside! The servers all wear dirndls, all the time. Well, the women at least. They are all very friendly, but do have more of a German style of customer service which gives the diner more privacy and time to enjoy (i.e. not overly talkative or checking on you constantly).
You must go here at least once, though it is pricey, so it may be best for a special meal or night out. We typically get the platter "for two" to share (it could easily feed three) which allows us to sample different dishes.
The breakfast is very simple continental breakfast, and is very expensive unless it's included with your hotel room, so unless you're staying in the hotel, I wouldn't go for breakfast. I haven't been for lunch but they have ads often for lunch specials, which seem much less inexpensive than the dinner. read more
