Kohl's seems to growing more confident in the toys department. It's very reminescent to how old mall anchors had some small section for kids tucked away in the corner. Literally, Kohl's here did the same. The selection of which is majority LEGO and Playskool brands, which probably helps them in the long run. Sadly, they do have a higher price tag than other places. Most of the associates that work here literally just walk by u. They look @ u right in the eyes & don't say anything or offer to help or anything! The sbsoworst though is this older lady in Sephora ( a blond ). Talk about a b****.. not sure if she's mad that she can't retire or hates her job but she was glaring @ me.. ignored me after I said hi, didn't offer to help like others in Sephora ( there was only 2 people including me)! Being that this store is located in West Arvada, I would expect a certain amount of neatness, organization, class, etc. Every time I'm in this store it is in shambles. The jewelry and sunglasses that are located in the juniors department are always tangled up, thrown on the floor, or just so disheveled I don't even bother to look through it anymore. It's like rummaging through stuff at the Goodwill in hopes to find something that isn't broken or doesn't have missing pieces. If this was a one time occurrence I wouldn't be leaving a negative review, but this is all the time. Last night I decided to look through the makeup section. I have never seen anything so unprofessional or disastrous (see picture attached). There is no excuse for the condition it was in. This is a nice Kohl's with plenty of parking and pleasant service. Some Kohls can be a logisitical nightmare to get in and out of, let alone find parking. This one was great. I picked out a few dress shirts for dad for xmas and my check out lady mentioned the Kohls card. Well, honestly, I shop here maybe once a year, but the check out lady AND the lady in line behind me convinced me that it was totally worth it, even for just the one time transaction. It was a pretty fantastic deal. I think I saved at least $50 just on a few dress shirts. So, not high pressure sales, they just want you to get the discounts that you can. I will probably shop more at Kohls now because of the positive experience and the discounts I get by mail, now. read more

Daniella is amazing. She always notices me everytime I've came in since the very first time and remembered me and made it a point to welcome me and ask about my dog etc. she goes above and beyond at this store. And for all the other workers I've never met a single rude or unknowledged person on what they should know for their particular job. All the one star reviews I've seen on here (seriously like y'all being ridiculous and you know it) this is by far my favorite kohls I only go to this one. The other ones I've been to haven't been a bad experience necessarily but this one is warm and welcomes you and makes you feel home. I've never seen a retail store do such hard work to keep it clean and nice and make sure they ask every person if they need help. Most places you'll sit around waiting for someone to help you and look around for 10 minutes just to find someone. read more

I really like Kohl's. However, they do the "sale pricing" that drives me crazy- have a regular price that's far too high, then mark it down on sale to what it should've been in the first place. Then you feel like you're getting a good deal. This strategy backfires with me- I just get annoyed that they can't price it low to begin with! I can spend $100 at Kohl's and get a ton of stuff. But, the clothes are not of the highest quality. I really like the housewares section with rugs and sheets and knickknacks, which usually have pretty good prices and are of better quality than the clothing. I have bought a couple of pairs of their shoes (Croft & Borrow). They were both very cute but again did not hold up at all. You get what you pay for, I suppose. read more

Took my son there to find him a dress shirt for a wedding. I know very little about men's dress shirts and we needed to measure him. I asked for help and was told they don't have associates in the departments to help you. A young woman finally came over to help but really had no idea how to help us. I asked for a tape measure so I could measure him but they couldn't find it. Another associate said they left it in towels but it was now gone. Most of the dress shirts are pinned and I asked her how do I know which size to get and did they really want me unpinning numerous shirts trying to find the right size? The clerk said I guess so. I found the customer service lacking and no one had any knowledge of the different departments. They couldn't answer the questions I had. The cashier told me I should go to Macy's or Men's Warehouse for assistance buying a men's shirt. read more

The woman who assisted me in customer service was very kind. I could tell that she felt sorry for the crummy circumstances, and there really wasn't anything she could do. I had come in without a receipt, with 3 pairs of earrings that I received as gifts for Christmas. The earrings were very bulky and heavy, so I was hoping to exchange them for some earrings that I could wear. Without a receipt, Kohl's gives store credit for the lowest price the item has appeared at any location in the last 90 days. Each pair of earrings was originally $20, but the grand TOTAL of store credit that I received for all three pairs was $6.18. I was told that at some point in the last 90 days all three pairs must have gone on clearance for under/around $2.00 each. I was stunned- I have never seen jewelry on clearance at Kohl's for anywhere close to $2.00! Sure enough, I went to their jewelry section afterwards, and the cheapest item on clearance I could find was around $5, most were in the $8-$12 range. I feel like Kohl's can do better. I certainly wasn't trying to pull a fast one on them by not bringing a receipt, I did not want to be rude to the person who gave me the gift and say, "I won't wear these, so can I have the receipt?". I was hoping to simply exchange them for some jewelry I could wear, but in the end my store credit could barely cover a pack of gum. read more

It's out of my way, but they had the items I wanted (according to their online inventory which is refreshed every 10 minutes). 2/3 of my items were canceled and when I called to find out why and cancel the last item, I got attitude like it was my fault that they ran out my items. I rarely ever shop here anymore. The shelves are often disheveled and sizes and styles are mixed, especially in the undergarments department. We went to buy some jeans for my husband and there was nearly nothing in his size, which is not an uncommon size. read more

I've never had a problem with the employees here. Just the company itself. So, when I had a Kohl's charge they never sent me the statement(s) and I incurred a late charge. I had to use that courtesy phone at customer service. Of course on hold forever. Then they tell me my address was blocked in their system. What?! I did not get a phone call, email, or anything to notify me. How am I supposed to pay without my statement!? So we cancelled it. On top of that - the whole Kohl's cash is such a huge gimmick. The sale prices are not that great. More like the real price and now they won't even give you 50% of your Kohl's cash if it is expired. There is such a short window for that. Very bad experience with this Kohls. I love kohls so I had to write a review about this one. Walked in, no one greeted me or asked if I needed help, which I did and it was hard to find somebody that could help. I had to return something and the lady at customer service couldn't find the item and told me it would be a while, so I decided to look around the store. I came back and the manager was there and I asked her if they found what was needed. She rudely said "No! This isn't sold here, it's probably from Walmart so try there." First of all, I don't even shop at Walmart. So I know it's not from there. Second of all, I know where it's from. I barely wore it, I just happened to take the tags off a little too soon. I know where I brought it and they didn't even try to look up my card or receipt. I'm very upset especially coming from the manager. She didn't try to help, she didn't even care. My review will be based mainly off of the products rather than the customer service. I feel that the customer has been really well managed and has been extremely helpful. I feel that the products are a little hard to describe most people know the products this store and shopped here . The return policies are great and really helpful when you buy something and don't know your size or you buy something online you can just come in and exchange it. You always have your Kohl's cash also that is a nice perk. However I feel that many of the products in Kohls are cheaply made and it's hard to pay sometimes an expensive amount on things that don't last very long. The styles for the women's section tend to be too old and the young junior section is in style but always too small for most women. I like the style of the junior section but the sizes are not big enough. I like the professional look of the women's section but it's just not real relaxed and very I feel in style most times. As a 30 year old I'm caught between the extremely professional the women's section and the hips and style of the junior section. But for the most part I can always find something I like to wear and their online products seem to be a lot more in stock and you are able to find some unique things that you wouldn't normally find in the store. read more

This Kohl's is Great!!! We love going on Tuesdays when they have senior days. Often times, I get coupons mailed to me and sometimes I take them in and they have expired. Sometimes they can't take the coupon if it's expired, but they strive to find a way to make me happy. We really love Kohl's. read more

well the deal with the "Kohls' Cash" really ticks me off! I spent over $500.00 on a recent purchase and was told by a new employee they were temporaily out of Kohls Cash! She said I would get my cash by email. Well I never did get it! And now I just talked to customer service and they said oh sorry it would already been exiped! well heck I would have gotten $250.00 kohls cash and I sure would not have let it expire. Just goes to show you how much clothing is marked up. Only bad is the credit dept there. Beware of "robo" calls from Wisconsin. These automated phone calls ask for Kohl's customers to return a call to another number to complete a customer satisfaction survey. Even if you choose to make that call, the person at the other end knew nothing about a survey, which means it was a complete waste of time. However, the robo-calls never stop. We received repeated calls, approximately every three hours for the last few days. Calls to Kohl's Headquarters haven't helped stop them yet. read more

The WORST customer service I have ever received. I simply wanted an exchange on a comforter I had boughten, but then needed a bigger size. I explained multiple times that I knew I would end up paying the $10 difference. I went to the Westminster store which is minutes from my house, but they wouldn't do it because they didn't have the same pattern. So they called the Arvada store to see if they had it. 20 minutes later they said they did. So I drove all the way over after being told they would do exactly what I was wanting and honor the sale price I bought it at, only for the rude assistant to return the one I currently owned, and say I would owe another $80! I work retail too, I totally get that some policy's cannot be changed because that is why they are there but this is just bull. I would be fired from my job if I refused to help the customer like this associate did. I will never step foot into another Kohl's again. read more
