Kohl's is a great option if you need something and don't want to go into Indy or Avon. The store is always clean though it can get a bit disorganized but that's due to the number of people who shop here. I find the kitchen wares tend to be either sold out a lot or picked over but there's always the option to buy online. They do have great sales and all kinds of discounts so they are worth checking out. Lots of little shops in the shopping center to browse as well. read more

I have been in a few times recently. Unable to find staff for questions. Walked the entire store to only see the two cashiers and 2 people at customer service. I bought over $200 worth of clothing, and when I went to wear the clothing, 2 items still had the security tags on them. I had already taken the price tags off, and if it weren't for having the receipt, they wouldn't have taken the ink tags off. The cashier gave me the dirtiest looks and took forever, like I was the person in the wrong. It also makes it very hard when you only take so many outfits for travel, and now you have two items that can not be worn. I will be long time before I shop here again. read more

I had an interview today over the phone. At 12:00 pm the store manger Kevin Hadley called me 12 minutes late which at the time I was not able to answer. The voicemail he left me was "Kevin calling for an interview... what a dumbass" I then call the store to get cooperates number and they gave me the wrong number..... continued to ask me if I was still interested in doing an interview too.... "Full price is for suckers," I whisper as I pull away from Kohl's with the receipt showing my total saved ($273!) poking proudly from my purse. And while this is certainly true in general, it is especially true at Kohl's. I feel like their price tags should have little winky faces on them, or maybe the prices should be in quotes... This item costs "$40" ;-) (Haha, just kidding, we know you're not paying that.) Their sales are frequent and well advertised. There are coupons in the mail, in the newspaper, and online, and if by some crazy string of events you actually find yourself in the store without a coupon they may even have some sort of scratch-off coupon they'll give you at the register. I love this Brownsburg location because it's always clean and organized and is rarely crowded. Staff is always pleasant and I usually have no problem finding someone to help when I need it. There is a very nice family restroom that has a cute little tiny toilet for the kiddos. Since today's purchase earned me $20 in Kohl's Cash I will definitely be returning soon. Hopefully I'll get to buy something fun for myself, but more likely I'll buy underwear or pajamas for the kids. Whatever it is, you can bet I won't pay full price. Oh Kohl's, I am glad I don't keep track of how much money I have spent here in my life because I think the number would scare me. But you do such a good job of luring me in with your sales, promotions and your selection! Bah! Yea, I am a huge fan of Kohl's for affordable clothing. This particular location is nice as well as it is kept well organized and never seems to be overwhelming busy as some other locations can be probably because it is a wee bit hidden off of the main Brownsburg shopping area. They also do a good job of calling additional cashiers when needed so you don't have to wait too long and their customer service desk was speedy with returns too. read more

I am shocked at the condition of this store. No clerks to size or straighten out the messy clothes in total disarray on display, and very difficult to find your size because nothing is in order. The manager should be fired. This store is a mess. read more

Two words... Overpriced...Rude. I went to this store at 3 pm on a Saturday looking for a new shirt to woo my girlfriend and I was disappointed. There was no one to greet me at the door, and I could barely find an employee. After finding the men's department I selected my shirts and went to the front desk. I was taken aback when TWO t-shirts was over $20! I asked the worker if she was serious and she seemed confused. Very disappointing trip. However, I would like to shout out Robin from the service desk! Super Helpful! 5 stars for Robin! Give Robin a promotion! One star experience as a whole however. read more

I was in Brownsburg IN store yesterday with a neighbor who became very weak and needed to sit down. She was using a walker without a seat and the only place I could think of was the dressing room area. Suddenly, Debbie, a sales associate, appeared and asked if we needed help. She immediately got my friend a wheelchair, rolled her to the front, opened a register so we didn't have to wait in a long line, and then proceeded to roll her to the car while I carried packages. Debbie's customer service went far above and beyond expectations. She truly represented Kohl's with the utmost attitude of doing whatever it takes to help the customer. Long time Kohl's shopper but those days are coming to an end. It is unfortunate that EVERY single time I approach the cashier, I am berated for not having a Kohl's charge card. I have never once been there and they not ask me if I am using my card, if I know I can save an additional 30% and then when I say, "no thank you, I use cash," I get the silent treatment. Last time I was there, I called the manager because I literally felt as if I was being physically assaulted (I now avoid that cashier), and the manager assured me she would talk to the cashiers to back off a bit. I asked her if the cashiers get some kind of reward if they sign up the most amount of people and she said no. She guaranteed me that regardless of how I pay, they wanted my business. Well, I just went last Friday and WHAM! here we go again. There is a better way to offer this card - just ask the customer if they have heard about the promotion if you have a card and leave it at that. If they say no they have not, then break into your pushing of the card. Regardless of how I pay, that is how they stay in business........IF I come back. read more
