I did not get my eye exam from them. I got my eye exam from the EYE DOCTOR in Bridgeport, West Virginia. The prescription I got from them I went to EYEMART EXPRESS with. When I first had my glasses made which were progressives, I had a problem with reading fine print. I went back to the EYE DOCTOR and got another exam. And then EYE MART EXPRESS made the second Pair of glasses. I still had a problem with the glasses. It wasn't EYE MART EXPRESS. something about the exam I got from the EYE DOCTOR just wasn't right. Anyway, that's a whole other review. Since then, I've gotten another eye exam and I'm much happier with my new glasses. But back to the glasses, I am reviewing and this business. I had a warranty on the glasses, and since it was less than a year I went back in there, and I had a new pair of glasses made no questions asked. Glasses are pretty expensive and so I'm glad I didn't have to spend a bunch of money on getting a new pair.

Perhaps the funnest businesses are a liquor store, nail salon, and hotdog diner. I had high hopes for this strip mall, but I ended up just driving through and not entering any stores. At least the mall did have some nice decorations such as a birdhouse and a zebra cutout that was decorated for the season. The parking lot was small, but it appeared to contain enough spaces for the types of businesses.

Spencer's is just as I remember it when I was a teen--alt trendy in the front and borderline-XXX in the back, hahaha. My teens always joke, "Don't go too far in the back of the store! We're not supposed to see that!" HA! This Spencer's was well stocked and well maintained. It is designed to overstimulate, with floor-to-ceiling merchandise that is alt pop-culture wild and wacky, with some raunchy mixed in. There was a tee clearance sale going on when we were in, and our teens dug through the crates and each found a couple they liked for $7 or $8 a piece. My darling husband offered to buy me a Tarot deck I was examining, as they had a small but quality rack of decks here. The checkout staff was friendly and kept the line moving along. Menards does but happens to be out of what I needed (just a couple regular 90 elbows, come on Menards, do better on your stock.). I was about to drive 50 miles to Menards in Tridelphia, and thought to myself, might as well call Sandy's as it is 2 miles from my parents house where I need the. Three of them in stock, saves a three hour round-trip drive, allows me to continue working over the weekend. This is ALWAYS the case with these guys, been there my entire adult life (and I'm 56] and they ALWAYS have it. Back in the day (30+ years ago) Bridgeport Ace when still in the old building would have had just a bit better selection and been the go to, but Sandy's is still there and still old school in 2026. Whatever to the guy who panned them on his mower service here, stuff happens, but admittedly I do all my own service. Dad has used Sandy's but never for anything extensive or complicated, so who knows. Maybe the counter lady was having an off week
