Alright people, don't sleep on Kohl's! I certainly don't come here enough but whenever I do I'm reminded how much they really have to offer. I was in search of an 'ugly holiday sweater' and heard a few options could be found here. I popped in for that, and left with plenty more! So many great stocking stuffers, holiday decor pieces, and clothing options. I forget what a vast clothing section they have, and same with toys, just in time for santa-planning. Also, prices here are very, very good. I'm always surprised at the check-out how many sales are going on that bring the prices in more down even more. This Kohl's is a little tighter and smaller than others, and like the others it is a bit short-staffed. Clean and mostly in order, Kohl's are consistent in this way. I've noticed that middle aged people seem to prefer Kohl's over Target, younger people like Target more than Kohl's but a lot of us comparison shop at both places on the same day. When I was in here a little girl kept putting stuff in her mother's purse, and her mother had to keep putting it all back, very entertaining. read more

I came in looking for neckties and I left empty-handed. I was disappointed in their selection on several counts. There was only one brand and it looked cheap (a la Walmart or worse.) The selection of patterns and colors were very limited and none of them looked stylish or current. The store was clean and put together well. I had interaction with two Kohls employees. The first one was a nice older sassy gentleman who showed me what I was looking for. Then checking out the associate was the direct opposite. She was void of a personality and the only thing she said was you can put your telephone # into the credit card machine. I really wouldn't ever come to this store but for the fact that I live in a bit of a desert when it comes to stores where I can buy clothes or gifts since Bayshore has become a giant concrete wasteland. I rarely find what I want, the Store Pickup option is never available for anything I am shopping for, and the clearance sections are so overly full that it is impossible to find anything in them. My latest visit here was another disappointment, though I thought I scored a good deal on some leftover Starburst Jellybeans from Easter. The tag on them said $4.99 and the scanner said even less, $3.49. Score! Imagine my disappointment when I got home and saw another price sticker for $2.99... It's not worth going back for, but just another in a string of disappointments. read more

I went in to buy some JVN products and I asked if there was any more Air Dry Cream. She said no. As I'm leaving the department I spot a JVN set that had a travel size Air Dry Cream in it. I went to the register to buy it. Both employees looked at the box but I didn't think anything of it. After I paid full price , I get home and realized the Air Dry Cream was not in the box. It was probably used as a sample. It's not worth my time to even go back into the store but it's very disappointing. read more

Spoke with head supervisor Amy she did not seem concern while she was with her staff Brea (that the name on her id) who kept telling me she is training someone rudely when I just wanted to pay for my items. Aside from this location there is not much to get excited about at this particular Kohl's. I would have to say brick and mortar in general have become a bit of a dinosaur these days especially for retail sales. On this particular visit we came to get some Brewer's gear for the game. We left and came back, yes came back, highly disappointed. The merchandise we got was excellent. Great quality. Just what we wanted. The bummer came with the service. I will call this employee Bob, actually his name is Bob. While I'm standing in line listening to Bob throw his game, all in attempts to get the person in line to sign up for a Kohl's card, I was just awestruck. I had come to an immediate realization of why society is so spiteful of brick and mortar these days. I love getting things immediately but the patience I had to have to stand in line dealing with Bob and his game was confounded! I explained this to my wife who is oh so understanding. I think after this episode though she may finally get it cause I just happened to be right! On with it then it was finally our turn to be served and get another spat of Bob running his game. So the kick, here it comes... Bob forgot to take our tag off one of the shirts we bought. It went unnoticed until the next day. So we had to go back to Kohl's again just to get this tag off. The location is great and there is usually decent parking outside the store. It's Kohl's..... there is always a sale and deals and deals on top of deals. It's pretty awesome. The Bayshore store is clean and I can get in and out quickly if I need to. The size of the store is perfect - it isn't too big and the layout is well organized. I feel I have always received decent to very good customer service at this location. Those moments when I'm feeling confused, there seems to be an associate who appears asking if I need help. There has recently been a never-ending cycle of Kohl's Cash. It's one of the best marketing plans I have ever heard of.... and guess what, it keeps me coming back. It works. Clean. Big. Organized. Useless. Their handy electronic pricing is great until you select an item you want and cannot find the price. Ask for help? "You can scan that yourself over there." Need a rug without a leaf design or pumpkins? Tough. Want napkins that are all cotton? Nope. How about almost anything that is not seasonal or overwrought with pattern. Much of what Kohls carries is not inexpensive, it is cheap. Big is fine, if selection is really good. Clean is good, period. Organized is helpful, too, as long as associates are doing stuff besides stocking and hanging merchandize -- stuff like helping customers, not just pointing to a scanner. read more

I usually have a good experience with Kohl's. I can usually get in and out in a matter of minutes after finding what I need. This store....was a god damn disaster. I went in looking for a pair of shoes and the shoe department looked like a bomb went off. None of the shoes that were on display, were able to be found below them like any other place would have them. And nothing was organized by size either. It was probably the most frustrating shopping experience of my life. No one around willing to help either. read more

I recently was out in the area before a wedding and had an issue with my dress pants. I had to go here to get a new pair of dress pants. This was an amazing location and Aleta was absolutely amazing. She was extremely helpful and friendly. Thanks to her, my mood turned from sour to cheerful. I hope all the employees are as great as her. Hope to return to this store in the future. read more

I've been coming here since the early 1990's and while we do find many bargains thanks to Kohl's many credit card bonus offerings and non-stop sales, the selections seem to get "stale" month after month. especially this past year. The variety does not seem to change for the better or even at all in many departments. After all, variety is "the spice of life." Then it seems you can't find any help when you need it. I must admit we've saved thousands of dollars over the decades and enjoyed everything from clothes and shoes to deck furniture and picture frames. When in doubt, we come to Kohls! read more

So, here's the thing about Kohl's -- I never expect to find anything good. It seems like a store that caters specifically to people who are either 15 or 50 years old. That said, I often find myself pleasantly surprised by the offerings here. Sometimes I leave defeated without having bought a single thing, but occasionally I'll strike gold and find clothes that end up being some of my absolute favorites. This is a store where every Saturday is a Super Saturday, where you can sometimes find really cute shirts for a mere $4, and where you never have to limit the number of pieces you bring into the dressing room (which is usually full of clothes that other people have rudely left behind). How can you say no to that? It's true, most of the jeans either look like they're made for moms or won't quite cover your rear, but sometimes there's a lone gem waiting just for you. read more

Ive been going to this location since I was 9. That being said, in recent years, this location's customer service has really been lackluster. Ive had clothing tags left unremoved from my purchased clothing every other shopping trip, causing the alarm to go off. More frequently, I have had the cashiers not welcome me. For example, I was the one to greet the cashier, and she did not even say hello back? lol She continued to talk to her fellow cashier. Yeah, does not make me feel appreciated as a customer. A new trend-the cashiers will not tell you if there is a family and friend's discount...I had to bring it up myself otherwise I would have missed out on 20% (obviously i was a "friend" as I have a Kohls Charge...). I like the size of this store. It doesn't seem cramped, and there's a good selection. They almost always have what I'm looking for in a size that fits. I've done returns here and had no problem. Parking can be a pain in the butt, but if you're in the area its a decent store. read more

Simply put: Poor customer service especially by management staff!!!! ***Please call Kohls Corporate if they are forcing you to take store credit!!*** I could not find a sales associate anywhere except for at the cash register. Employees were wearing street clothes with minimal identification making them hard to spot in the store and did not reach out to help customers. Waited in line to get help, and then continued to wait at the department section for a sales associate to unlock an electronic item. Returned a few weeks later to return the item and was given store credit automatically, despite having the receipt and purchasing on a credit card. Sales associate apologized and called the manager. The manager showed up and said there was nothing she could do. I asked if she could find out the reason and she refused. I asked for the number to Kohls Corporate where I was able to talk to a customer service agent who said I should be receiving full refund to my credit card. I passed my cell phone to the employee who was able to re-ring it up as a full return. No help from the manager, rude, terse responses. Will not be returning. read more

I'm glad to see I'm not alone. This, by far, is the worst Kohl's I've ever been to, and I base it on one bad experience, is enough to ruin it for me. The last and final time I was here, i had an awful experience. I went to the jewelry section and picked out some earrings. The jeweler skipped me, to serve a woman, terrible costumer service, there's no excuse for it.
