We went to Kohl's today to find a suit jacket, pants, a shirt, and socks to wear to a funeral. It is the day after Christmas. We looked and looked. Everything was an absolute mess, trash, carts, and clothes everywhere. We finally found a pair of pants but that was all we found. Come on Kohl's you can do better. I saw online that they had a denim jacket I wanted; 1 in store available. I went to buy it and found the aisle but they didn't have the size there that I needed even though it said they did online. I went to the service counter for help. This was today, 5/12, at 3:30, and spoke with a lady with short, grey hair. (I wish I had looked at her name tag!). I explained the situation expecting her to call a clerk to help me find it. Instead she told me that "it's probably been stolen!". When I continued to ask for help, she snapped, "You're not listening to me!" What rude service!!! I can understand why they don't want to assist you - the store is in total disarray! Clothes are strewn on top of displays, clothes are lying on the floor everywhere, there are no clerks on the floor to help you. They only have one entrance/exit open. The other has been closed/locked for weeks as well as the registers at that same end of the store being shut down! This used to be my go to place to shop for clothes but no more. That rude cashier was the final straw! read more

You are better off going to Goodwill. They should close it down. They have shut an entire set of doors and only allow entrance and exit through the south doors. This is a large box store and if there was an emergency I hope they have a lot of insurance to pay out when people are stuck jammed up trying to get out the only doors on the entire opposite side of the store. (I won't be going back for safety reasons) In addition, this store hires raccoons to organize and sort their clothing. The entire store is a dump. Clothes just thrown on the floor, items just in piles... to find your size you have to dig through piles like you are in hunting through cheap clothes in a bargain basement. If you have any self-respect at all do not go there. You could die - (why haven't the fire marshalls fussed about this??) You can't find anything You will feel like you are dumpster diving If they want to have a store with the feel of a Goodwill, you better sell clothes at cheaper prices. This is one of my rare reviews of a large chain store, but my experience here was so great that i had to share. I was surprised to see that this store had such a low rating. This store is located in the Greenwood Mall complex and has a huge parking lot. This place is very clean and serves as a hassle free return center for Amazon. I was sent here on a mission, to purchase a certain pair of shoes for my daughter. All I had was a picture of the shoes and some determination. I asked a woman who was working in the toy section, where i could find little girls shoes. She escorted me over to the section and then helped me look to see if they had the shoe after I showed her the photo. They did not have the shoe, but the woman would not let me give up my search. She escorted to a kiosk that they had located in the store and recruited another very friendly employee to help me find the shoes. She was able to find the shoes, and help me order them. They were going to be delivered directly to my home. These employees went above and beyond to help me, while dropping what they were doing. The store is very clean and full of friendly and helpful staff. Do you self a favor and get one of their % of coupons. I think you even get one if you return something to Amazon from there. read more

I went into the store at 7:30 to do an Amazon return and was told that the coupon they gave me would get 25% off. I picked out some tennis shoes Nike and ASICS and when I got to the counter they couldn't apply the coupon. I could it go back and look for ones that where on sale because it was now 7:05 and they had already started turning off the lights. Than I just found out the Nike shoes I bought where in a Box 8 but where only a size 7. Not a very organized store in my experience. read more

This is for the Amazon return option -we arrived early to avoid a line, well turns out this new option for Amazon in khols requires an amazon employee whom just happened to call in which has caused quite the long line with a staff not ready to handle returns. This kohl's location is very cluttered. The clearance sections are always crammed full of products and there is often items all over the floors. The main parts of each section are organized in general but the clearance section is a hard part to shop in. The staff is nice enough and will help you if you need something. This location is nice as it is right next to the Greenwood Mall and Best Buy. I prefer the Southport Road store to this store. read more

This place is always messy and the employees ignore you. This is the only Kohl's I've visited that the employees don't smile or greet you. It's like robots are running the place. This last visit there were literally two aisles blocked with product falling over into the aisles and stuff just scattered everywhere. It was like a scene from The Twilight Zone. It was so messy that I seriously was starting to wonder if it was some kind of joke someone played. My guess would be that they were understaffed, if I hadn't seen it this messy a few times before. The unkempt shelves and aisles seemed so chaotic I decided to just leave and drive to a different loacation. This is, by far, the busiest Kohl's store I have ever been in. The place is big, and they have lots of inventory. It can sometimes get overwhelming. The employees at this store do a great job of keeping up with the amount of traffic that comes through. The customer service desk moves quickly, and I love the fact that it is in the front of the store. It is pretty rare for me to leave this store without buying something. I do find that the fitting rooms are often dirty, and they often smell like someone has used them for a bathroom. The clearance section is extensive, and I love that about this store. read more

I had a pretty disappointing experience here the other night. The shoe department was a complete mess. In the past at other stores it has at times been difficult to find the right size in the style I wanted, but I could not even find any kind of selection on display. There were boxes thrown everywhere and hardly any shows on the display shelf. i wandered around the rest of the store but found similar situations in the men's department. This place is constantly crowded. For the amount of traffic they see though, they handle it really well. But it seems like no matter how many people are working they just can't quite keep up. All in all the selection here is pretty good, and the Big and Tall section keeps getting just a little bigger every time. DO NOT! I repeat DO NOT buy jewelry from kohl's. I bought 2 Vera wang rings from this location. Two weeks after the proposal a diamond falls out. I go back to get it fixed or get a new one (still less then 30 days from purchase) and I'm told that they not only do not have any more like that but they can't get anymore like that. So I asked them to send it to be fixed. They don't do that. Instead I was told to return both rings and purchase new ones (not the same ones either) with smaller diamonds, OR I could buy new ones (on my credit card) wait for them to come in and then return the rings. Still not the same rings. THESE ARE THE ENGAGEMENT RINGS!!! You can't just trade them out! They are special. So after 30 minutes of keeping my cool I left the store never to return. I now have to pay a jeweler to fix the ring that should've been covered under warranty after only TWO WEEKS. The manager said her hands were tied that there was nothing they can do. Here's a suggestion if you can't cover something under a two week warranty or have it fixed you probably shouldn't sell it!!!! read more

Frequent shopper here! I am a Kohl's addict and they always have cute clothes. They just don't always have my size (XS) which is a bit annoying but overall it's a great store. The employees are always friendly and helpful. Definitely worth checking out!! read more

I can only really speak for the men's side of the store, but I have been with my wife when she shops in the women's side. She seems to like it, and typically ends up buying something. As far as the men's side goes I actually get a good percentage of my clothes from here. They carry a good amount of button down shirts which I like and a lot of docker style pants. The smallest neck size they have is 15 1/2. Which used to be a problem when I was skinnier and younger. Not so much anymore. They have a decent shoe selection. They also seem to always be having some kind of sale, and I would wait many times until what you are looking for goes on sale. It's just a matter of time. Otherwise things can be a bit pricey. But their sales are typically quite good. It is typically understaffed from what I can tell, but it really hasn't been too much of an issue seeing as I typically don't need much help finding things around the store. read more

I have always had great experiences at this location, until 9/25/18. The lady that was at the register was not friendly and was annoyed that I couldn't remember my reward telephone number. I asked her if I could enter a different number and she said I am running out of options and so I said can I enter my email instead and she huffed and said okay this is it, so I was not successful on that attempt as well and she said loudly nothing after all that. WHAT!!! My 11 year old son said mom she is rude. So, to sum it up no rewards and was treated bad! This lady should not be in customer service if she is not going to give customer service!!! I interrupted employee, Braxton, last evening (he was busy stocking sheets) to help me find s towel (only 1 on the shelf & I needed 2). Braxton was an exemplary employee and I want to shout out to his manager to give him a raise! He truly took 'putting the customer first' and going beyond what was necessary to help me! He called another store when we couldn't find another towel, they didn't have it either, so he offered to order them online for me. When I said I could do that, he explained if I did it in store, I wouldn't have to pay shipping! Then, he wrote the numbers and color down for me so I could easily find it online! She dropped her project and immediately helped point me in the right direction. Kohl's has the hook of having a perpetual sale going on, but they also have some good stuff. I go here for jeans, shirts and when the stars align and the coupons are right you can get the kitchen stocked with appliances on the cheap. The store is unorganized and difficult to navigate. We accidentally picked up the wrong appliance and encountered an incredibly condescending manager on duty at the register. They made us wait for an awkward amount of time before we asked if they could suspend our transaction for the poor folks waiting in line after us. When the manager finally arrived she rushed to tell us how wrong we were about the sale item. If she had been a little kinder, we would have loved to buy the product regardless of the sale price - she didn't even give us that option.
