On 3 separate occasions the same general situation has occurred, this was the last one which was 2 weeks ago. When installing a vinyl floor i needed a flooring hammer since Kohl's was the closest to me I decided to go there. They had no flooring hammers so I grabbed a rubber mallet which on the rack was indicated as being priced at $7.99. When I went to the register, it rang up at $11.99, over 60% higher than the shelf price. On all 3 occasions I was told that prices were constantly changing and they're trying to keep up. When I brought this particular difference up to the guy at the counter he quite rudely replied "Do you need it or not?!". Aside from the complete lack of respect for a customer, if there is such a need for prices ro be updated the TWO GUYS behind the counter could have been working on the pricing problem rather that chatting up their friend that was there. While I did biy the item, it was only because the $4 difference was cheaper than it would have been in fuel fpr me to drive to Roosevelt or Heber at that time. However, I will NEVER spend another penny there and I would recommend the same to everyone. I'm all about supporting local businesses, but I can't support any business that shows such a lack of respect and appreciation for their customers. read more
