I have been a customer of Kohl's for many years. They used to have such great prices, and a very generous coupon policy....and then, new Corporate Management came along and decided to F*ck that up! Well the result was, business took a complete nose dive for a few years. But seriously, we were able to use discount codes on top of already discounted items and clearance items. We were able to use discount coupons on designer goods also! Then....all that changed, and there were strict restrictions on what you could or couldn't use the discounts on. Times are rough and people are hurting. These coupon restrictions really hurt the customers, and ultimately hurt Kohl's in return! Not a very smart move on their part! Fast forward to 2025/2026 and new Corporate Management lifted some (not all) of the discount coupon restrictions...and some of their customers came back! Imagine that! So kudos to Kohl's for correcting their mistakes. Your customers appreciate it! Also note that Kohl's will have a "Deal Bar", coming soon to all stores! It will be located in front of the store; offering various items for $10 or less! Can't wait to see what they'll be offering! They will also have a "Deal Bar" online, with deals for $5 or less. This Jericho locations is usually great. The floor space is large and well organized. My only complaint is that there are never enough cashiers (usually only one or two cashiers). There are self checkout registers though. But these days, I mostly order online and do online pickup. Folks, this is a game changer! Not only do you not over-shop and buy things you shouldn't; you just show up, pickup your package and leave! No lines, no waiting! I must say, their online pickup area is usually well maintained and it's easy to find your package. There have been a few times that I couldn't find my pkg but there's usually someone around who can help you. So kudos to Kohl's for making a comeback! Deceiving adversting. Deceptive credit practices - high 30% apr on charge accounts. THey say 40% off when you apply for a card, but that doesn't include half of the merchandise in the store - only the cheap "kohls Brand items" are discounted. so out of my 500 dollars purchase, they wouldn't honor the 40%, because they said my credit was not automatically approved. The employee offered 30%, which she said was $30, but $30 was not even 10% of my purchase. Employees speak little English, and have heavy accents making them difficult to understand. The store was obviously short staffed, and staffed with several people that couldn't understand my questions. the employee kept saying, "no understand". The WORST customer service ever. I had 500 dollars of clothing ready to purchase and I left it all there in frustration. This was the first time I was in that store in a few years. Now I know why I don't frequent that store. I have been shopping at Kohl's in Jericho for quite some time and feel it necessary and appropriate to commend a particular employee there. Her name is Tamara and she works at the Sephora store located within Kohl's. Tamara is a people person. Each time I have walked into the store, she has approached me and asked me if I needed any help finding anything. Whenever I have asked her for assistance, she has been incredibly patient and helpful. It is refreshing to have a salesperson be so attentive, and interested in aiding patrons. This is a really nice Kohls. Every time I come here the store is stocked with products and having great sales. Something I love the most is the clean fitting rooms. Going to other stores you deal with the horror of enduring their fitting rooms which can be dirty, smelly, or just neglected. But not here! This is a big bright store with very a very though selection of merchandise. I enjoy coming here but you have to know that finding people on the floor is very rare. I like Kohls for their very complete line of clothing which is not only up to date but well made. I have bought pants, shirts, belts and sweaters from them and they have always held up through the years. They have a very wells put together home goods section and I see that they now carry a limited supply of household electronics. I would like to see a better balance of a workforce vs pricing since not being able to find an item usually results in NO SALE when a store team member may have been able to find it for you. Keep up the good work of managing your inventory and consider bringing a few more people in at various shifts to help your customers. read more

I bought a pair of Dana buchman dress shoes. It was one of those purchases that i bought and thought these will go cute with an outfit one day. So that day came when i went to wear them. I bought these shoes about 8-9 months ago. I wear them and before i even got to this party (luckily it wasnt a dancing occasion) the heel was being separated from The shoe. I was pissed this made me upset because they are comfy. Now had i worn these shoes more frequent and then this happen i wouldve paid to get them fixed. But we pay for what we get. I also hate returning things i have used but this was clearly a manufacturing made in china issue.... So when i brought them to kohls i told them i wore them once and this is what happened. As a prior employee of Kohl's, and someone who really enjoyed shopping at Kohl's, I have to say that my experience this evening at this Kohl's was very disappointing. As I was exchanging a gift and planning to use $130 in Kohl's cash, I saw a sign that said Clearance 70% off. I picked several items off of the various shelves (holiday storage bags for trees, Wreaths and wrapping). When I went to the register and the items rang 50% off. The POS associate called over the floor manager, Mary who walked away and came back stating it was not 70% off. I walked back to the original display and took photos and she proceeded to stated it wasn't for the storage bags. Mind you the whole display was storage bags. Obviously lsomeone did not do there job correctly and myself and other shoppers told her again it was wrong and the items clearly were labeled 70% off. Mary, the Floor Manager has no personality or customer service. This evening Kohl's lost a valued customer. Clearly not only will I not return to her store nor will I shop at Kohl's again. read more

I tried to submit a compliment on the phone regarding a manager and saleswoman at this location. Manager named Ally and unfortunately i didn't get the saleswoman's name. She was working amazon returns on 11/9 around 3pm. They were both beyond helpful. Kohl's coupons weren't working on the in store kiosk (time to upgrade that kiosk). Let's just say no one was helping. By the time the manager showed up I was completely frustrated. She went above and beyond never got upset and got everything sorted for me and the woman at amazon was also helping. I apologized for my not so nice attitude at the start and neither were the least bit phased both were so understanding and helpful. I wanted to make a formal compliment but for some reason kohl's outsources their customer service and they don't seem competent nor do they understand how to take those. Wow I have never had a an employee of a store lie to me about their store sales and coupon deals like they own the store. Yesterday 11/12/20 I opened a charge charge card and Kohl's gives you 35% off for everything you buy that day. After I picked all my items and was ready to check out I finally got to the register with my 11 year old daughter the girl that was at the register, who was not very nice, had a miserable woman named Patricia next to her I guess helping her be more miserable. I am a DISABLED RETIRED UNITED STATES NAVY so I was asking these 2 sorry excuses for custumer service reps about the military 30% discount running until 11/15/20 and it was in store only they both in sync said that the discount was only on vets day and when I contended they said it must be on line then s ok I I wasn't in the mood to fight at The moment so I let it go and then when she got done ringing me she told me that I was only getting a 20% discount when I said it should be a 35% discount since I just open the charge card today. She told me no I was only getting 20% commas inside and shop there a lot I said maybe they know something I don't know so I paid and I left. Halfway down The road I was burning inside so I start my car I checked thoroughly all of the discounts that I should've gotten and they were wrong besides being nasty. I went back to the store and as soon as I came in I told Payticia that I was just there if she remembered me and she said yes with the surprise look in her face and then I said all those discounts that I was asking you about and you said that I wasn't entitled to get them I am entitled and she got really nasty and said that she wasn't the one that told me anything when she was chiming in with the other nasty cashier that I know I wasn't a cashier it was some type of manager and she got even louder with me in the middle of the floor which is a big no-no in customer service but I guess they don't know that and maybe Kohl's don't train their employees like they should so I said you were the one answering questions she said no I wasn't so then I went to customer service and I asked for a manager , When I told her what went on she made excuses and tried to defuse the situation instead of really finding out who is a responsible person was for the unpleasant episode and went on with business as usual. she did give me the 35% discount but I am so not happy with the fact that someone can treat me like that when I'm spending my money there and on top of that my 11-year-old daughter had to witness that episode. I don't know why incompetent people are hired to be The face of a store like that. Customer service people should be cordial, pleasant, inviting and nothing but helpful and should make the customer feel comfortable and at home like they're being helped and not fought against. now every time I go there I have to be uncomfortable and hope that I never see that woman again because when I left the store after I went to customer service she gave me dirty looks as I was walking out of the store. This store is clean. This store is easy to shop. It's organized well and the sales will have you coming back. I needed a tie and some socks for an interview, and Kohl's had me happy when I left. The only thing I can think might need some work is the longer -ish lines that you sometimes get when shopping here. If I have one bug-a-boo, I DONT like to wait on line. Call me what you will, but I have more important things to do than looking at the back of the person in front of me. Arrived at Kohl's - no signage. Got in long line at front of store. Others were also waiting with Amazon packages. After 10 min Kohl's employee announces Amazon returns at back of store. Gave no helpful directions. We wandered back and found one employee handling another long line of Amazon returners. No signage along way. Line moved OK but not a pleasant experience. Kohl's manager type gruffly tells us to move line to other side of aisle. Kohl's is crummy overall and their prices are not great. This experience is consistent with earlier experiences. read more

I love Kohl's - I can score so many deals in this place that it seems illegal at times. Speaking for the guys section- they usually have killer prices on dockers pants and such but then you can pair them up with 15% off coupons and really save some coin. They have a large men's section here and some decent house ware stuff as well- the only downside is the returns area always looks like a Turkish bazaar - huge lines and piles of clothes everywhere. read more

This Kohl's is almost equal to the one in Levittown, the only thing that makes the one in Jericho nicer is the management. As apposed to the one in Levittown, the one in Jericho, the manager/supervisor doesn't get annoyed if you are there close to closing. "Kohl's" has never been a store I enjoyed going to. So why did I think this time around would be any different? Finding parking was a breeze because the large parking lot was empty. Heading inside looking around I noticed how beautiful and well organized the business was. I was extremely impressed by the hard work there. But if I was to complement an employee it would have to wait. Let me ask you a question, have you ever been to the desert? Well if you want to know what it's like head to "Kohl's." Not in the sense of the heat, the temperature was perfect, in the sense of isolation. I could not find one employee to help me. They must be hard at work hiding so like a game of tag I started looking for them. When I finally tracked one of them down, I asked for help. The employee pointed to the direction and kept moving. Now that's poor customer service. That employee should have walked me over. But I guess that's asking to much. Needless to say I walked out, went to "Target" and found what I was looking for, with help, at a great price. This will be my last time at "Kohl's." They don't understand the value of a customer. The only reason this review has 2 stars is because Kohls as a company is still a great bargain. However, I will not be returning to this store in person ever again. I used to shop at Kohls often but their new policies and disrespectful staff have ended that patronship. There are a lot of brands at Kohls and anyone knows the sizing is all over the place for this reason. When I go to Kohls i expect to have to try things on because of this. I went there yesterday to purchase some back-to-school shopping for student teaching. I needed some more professional clothing. I loaded my cart with everything I thought might fit with the intent to try it all on. When reaching the dressing room there was an older gentleman with a moustache (older 60s) standing with his arms spread across the entrance to the dressing room blocking it off. I thought that was weird but proceeded to make my way towards the entrance, said excuse me, and was heading in when he stopped me and said "SIR SIR YOU CANT GO IN THERE WITH A CART AND YOU CANT GO IN THERE WITH THAT MANY ITEMS". He was very nasty in his tone and as a paying customer, I was not thrilled with being berated for wanting to try on my potential purchases. Apparently, there is a new policy in place where you can no longer bring your cart into the dressing room and you can only bring in 8 items at a time. I've been shopping at Kohls for about 20 years and this has never been a thing. My cart is full of clothes, it was defeating to think of having to go back and forth outside of the dressing room because of such a silly policy. What is the difference between me trying on all my clothes with the cart in the room and me trying on all the clothes with my cart unwatched outside in the store 8 items at a time? It only inconveniences the customer having to make multiple trips back and forth from the dressing room 8 items at a time. I asked him why this was and he responded "they're changing everything". He had an attitude and a smirk on his face. I was tempted to leave the cart in front of him and say forget it I'll go somewhere else but I was in desperate need of student teaching clothes. I went and found another dressing room and did what I wanted but knowing what I know now I have no desire to deal with these policies in the future. I'll simply purchase what I need from other online companies with good return policies. They wonder why brick and mortar are dying off. How about asinine policies and rude staff that don't want to work? I purchased 400 dollars worth of clothes from Kohls and left. It will be the last cent they ever see from me. This kohls has the worst customer service. I was buying my daughter a shirt that was 24.00 on sale for 16.99. The rack had a sign saying as much. The cashier rang it up for 19.99, so I told her I think it rang up wrong because the sign said 16.99. She said no it was 24.00 on sale for 19.99. I repeated that the sign said was 24.00 and now 16.99. She wouldn't check it and kept demanding I swipe my card. The other cashier was appalled at her behavior and told her to fix the price. She would not. So I finished the purchase and told her I would just return it right away so I could explain to them what she was doing. The other cashier asked me not to and directed me to the jewelry cashier to have the price properly adjusted. When I got to the jewelry cashier I told her what happened and that she could see the sign herself from where she was standing so she wouldn't have to take my word for it. She was nasty as well and said " just give me the reciept or I can't do it. This is no way to speak to people. All they had to do was check the price and make the correction. I didn't speak poorly to them and I expect the same in return. No wonder why this Kohls was empty, I also won't shop there anymore. read more

I really like this store because you can get some great finds as well as save a little bit because they seem to always be either giving away "Kohl's cash" or applying a minimum of 15% off to your total. The store is pretty large but I am not a huge fan of the set-up. I just always feel like I am walking in circles trying to find what section I need. I don't like the way everything is so tight and sometimes messy. But with a cart, I often find myself struggling to maneuver my way through the aisles. They have a good return policy however, most times they will return your money to a store card for you to use and a lot of people aren't a fan of that. I just take the gift card, walk around and try to find something else to purchase lol. They will forever try to sell you on their store charge card, I personally stay away because I don't need any more credit cards but if you shop here a lot it could be beneficial because they add a deeper discount- I believe at least 10% more off your total. I signed up for their rewards card "Yes2you" and you get 1 point for every dollar spent and then redeem for $5 for every 100 Points. Pretty decent department store. I used it about 5 times and wasn't happy about it's taste so I brought it back to my nearest Kohls store. No questions asked and I got a full refund. Fine - you don't stock them ok. But then when I explained that I wanted a bra with adjustable straps or straps I could take off and you still didn't know what I want, that's crazy. The woman half ass pointed me to the strapless bras not realizing if she'd taken a second to follow me she would have seen exactly what I meant and she'd be able to help people in the future Then at this location, it doesn't matter how many registers are open, they always have the SLOWEST staff! It's awful. If I hadn't really needed the bras I would have left. There were four, count them four! people on line waiting to check out and one of thre cashiers just straight up leaves! And considering just a moment before he'd had a manager with him, if he really had to go on break or something then why in hell didn't the manager open a registry or take over his. The store overall is nice. They have a lot of items in stock and a good selection of items. But all of that doesn't matter if the employees are terrible. Most of the people that work there need an attitude adjustment. No one is polite. The cashiers take forever to ring people up. The other day I was one of maybe 11 people on line with one cashier working the line. Two other employees were at the next register having a full blown personal conversation for everyone to hear. And then about 20 minutes lateR one of them opened up another register and she was rude as can be and reeked of cigarette smoke. The store is tidy and well kept especially the dressing rooms which tend to be messier in other stores. The cashiers are also friendly and have great customer service in this store I wish it was closer to my house it would be my go to store. I use to work right behind it so I spend many lunch hours hitting the racks. read more
