I walked in looking for a specific Mother's Day dress which they DID have in my size! It was priced pretty high and then "on sale" for 20% off, plus I got Kohl's cash. Same game as always. However, I was pretty pleased that the material was a linen mix and not junk polyester. The cashier at self checkout was friendly and helped us remove the tag that was causing the buzzers to go off at the register. She gave us the "open a credit card and save $20 more" spill, I've already been there, done that, and gotten in trouble because of it LOL. We politely declined, paid and left. Kohl's is always a great place for some well priced clothing. The other wares aren't always on sale tho when they are it can be had for a good price. For years we would buy our Fiesta Ware at the Kohls since they would keep the Classic style in stock, evidently that isn't the case anymore. Sad. This location is a smaller one, not like the larger stores found in the heart of the DFW complex. The housewares area was actually a bit bare today. Many shelves were a bit empty. Saw many staff tho none of them sent any greetings or asked if I need assistance for anything. It wasn't overly busy so that was a bit dissapointing. Outside of that, they discounts on clothing, especially the large amount of racks for women's clothing is always a draw for us. read more

This location has a pretty good selection of items. I've been here several times and have not had a bad customer service experience. Some employees have even been friendly. The store is normally well staffed so that you don't have to stand in line for more than a few minutes when making a purchase. Also, the store is clean and neat. If a huge sale is going on, customers will toss items around, but employees usually have items back in proper places the next day. This store is in a strip mall with plenty of parking. This Kohl's also now accepts Amazon returns. I like the Kohl's app and ship to store options. By using the app, I have access to some extra coupons, a wider variety of items to purchase, as well as Kohl's cash. read more

First time in since the new layout. Nice look and appearance . However I couldn't get past the front cashier's Karen attitude. She insisted that I had jumped in line of another customer. Everyone was shaking their heads except the cashier who kept repeating the same beat down. I went up again to talk to the cashier. She was full of conflicting reasons for her tone and how it was her job to be sure people didn't come in the front door and right up to her counter. The young lady that checked us out was very nice and used every discount we had. She was polite and professional. No complaints there. However when we were in the Junior section, we heard and watched an employee (Marie) older, petite, short dark hair lady yelling at another employee in front of everyone. This is the the store we usually shop at! We have shopped at Kohl's for over ten years, After Kohl's messed up our bill and wouldn't sent it they turned it in as not paid. We called several times to find out the total as they posted another two times that we had not paid our bill. This dropped our credit 92 points!! We have now found out the total paid it and canceled our card. We will never shop at Kohl's again... BEWARE!!!!! Needless to say Kohl's has the ability to remove their mistake but will not. The "manager" Rich was beyond unprofessional and extremely rude. I was standing in the clearance area with my girls in a stroller. Mind you there are no signs posted not to stand there even when they have a rack of clothes going all the way to do the door. He opened the door and hit me with it, so I put my hand out to stop it from hitting again so I could move my stroller and he pushed through it and kept walking. I said, "Sir you could have at least apologized you just hit me with the door". He turned around snapped at me and said "you can't be standing there, there's a door and we're coming in and out and walked away." I normally wouldn't be this upset with a situation but he didn't just tap me or bump me with the door he hit me and then pushed his way through, he knew something was blocking it. What would have happened if my children were standing there? There's no signs posted anywhere not to stand there. If this door is such a busy door there should be a window. When I tried to talk to another manager, Hayden, about the situation he was not surprised that he was rude to me and didn't offer any help except I'll talk to him. I will no longer be coming to this store again. I will be contacting corporate about this issue. read more

Absolutely ridiculous experience. One person running the checkout line and you put the SLOWEST person there. Line gets backed up and she is taking her sweet time folding everything piece by piece, encouraging people to sign up for a kohl's card. She talks people into signing up and has to wait for them to fill out their paperwork and then enter their information to see if they've been approved. Surely this isn't how y'all do things around there? With the line backed up why would you keep encouraging people to sign up for a kohl's card? read more

This Kohl's loss prevention are idiots. I'm pregnant, and got falsely accused of stealing merchandise and a letter in the mail that they were going to file a civil action against me. After trying to contact lake worth loss prevention and corporate and only getting voicemails and no return call I had to spend my day at the Lake Worth Police Department to get it figured out. The person who stole was a Hailey burns not BARNES. She also already paid her restitution fee so not sure why 8 months later they were trying to accuse me and get another $300 out. I'm beyond livid and wish I could get a response from management or their loss prevention who obviously can't investigate worth a crap. Never have I shopped at the lake worth store and never will I shop at any kohl's store after the way I have been treated. read more

As I was looking for something that I couldn't find anywhere in the store a manager named Rich came by and ask how I was doing. I said I could use a little help and he put the stuff in his hands down and said let's find it together. I instead I would be okay and didn't want to stop him from doing what he was doing, but he replied helping the guest is always what I'm doing. So we went and got my sons modeling clothes that I had to have that day and thanked him so very much because I hate shopping because it stresses me out. I love Kohl's shoe selection in Lake Worth, Texas. My experiences have always been positive and the staff is very helpful. On Wednesday April 10th, I was shopping in the towel area in the back of the store and then headed toward the shoe department. As I walked past the children's shoes, I noticed a heavy set elderly woman in her late sixties with straight dark hair sitting on the floor surrounded by 30 or 40 pink shoe boxes. She was complaining to a heavy set short lady about something. At first I dismissed it, until she got louder and I could hear her complaining down by the ladies Nikes. I saw two pair of Nike's online I wanted to purchase. I found the first one but I couldn't find the size for the second pair. There was a nice young boy named Eric. I asked him if he had anymore shoes in the stockroom. He looked on the scanner and said he had that size and helped me look on the floor. As I we were looking for the size, I could hear the same lady complaining. I felt sorry for the shoe associate standing there taking that verbal beating. She was clearly humiliated by the horrible treatment she was receiving. Eric found the size and I thanked him for his help. I decided to go by the appliance area and look around. I looked at the lady on the floor, trying to get her name, but the badge was turned. I noticed she had keys on her wrist. Ah yes, a key holder, she was management. Eric was over there now and she was complaining to him. I shook my head in disbelief that a manager would behave in this manner. I have been in the retail business for 25 years and a manager for over 20 years. I am proud to say I have never treated an associate in this belittling manner. She obviously needs to take a course in, "Management 101". You explain to an associate in a professional tone your expectations. If there is an issue with merchandise on the floor being set incorrectly, you quietly show them the proper way. You never talk down or try to make an associate feel inadequate or chastise them. You certainly control your behavior and temperament on the floor, especially when customers are around. These two associates were standing there as she went on and on complaining. There were still shoes all over the floor as customers were trying to shop. I feel sorry for any associate who works directly under her. In my experience, behavior like this is not isolated and this s probably a pattern on how she treats associates on a regular basis. If this store has a high turn around rate, this is definitely a factor. I am really surprised that Kohl's would allow a manager to behave like a two year old having a tantrum. Certainly associates must have complained in the past. Has Kohl's HR department swept this under the rug? I will continue to shop at Kohl's, but this has definitely impacted my opinion about the management and treatment of the associates that work for this company. read more

Purchased a pair of pants while shopping with my wife. She loved the Kohl's coupons. Didn't try them on. Got to the hotel and realized the size was wrong. Returned the next day to exchange the pants alone. While they did not have my size the staff was so helpful with ordering online and have the correct size drop shipped to my home. @Kohls I will NEVER EVER shop at Kohl's again. I will pay off my charge card again (just paid it off last month and went shopping tonight) and close my account. I went to Kohl's this evening after taking my children to dinner. I have gained a little weight and wanted to get a few things for myself to make me feel a little bit better about my self. Spend an hour and a half at this store trying on pants after pants because nothing seems to fit any more. I also bought myself a pair of black boots. While already frustrated because nothing fits , I am over this whole "shopping thing" and ready to leave (especially with 2 girls wanting everything they see). I go to the register and I am checking out.. as I'm starting to pay the manager comes over and bring a shoe box with her and sets them on the counter next to the pin pad for the credit cards and points to the box and says "you have these on your feet". Stunned.. I Defensively said "no I don't" and pulled my shoe off and showed her the bottom of shoes (the inside) and said these shoes are clearly over 2 years old. They have stains all on the front of them too. She then proceeded to speak to a couple employees and said okay and walked away. Then as she is walking away I said "no sorry,...nothing at all?" She said "I did say sorry." No ma'am you did not say sorry. And again walked off. At this point I'm so embarrassed. Mean while both of my children are just standing there watching their mom being accused of stealing shoes. I SPENT $250 this trip to kohl's. I'm not a thief. I told her pull the tapes and you will see I walked into this store with these shoes on. She said I will have my manager do that tomorrow. TOMORROW??! But yet it's okay to ASSUME and make an ass out of everyone before you have any proof. You lost a long time customer. All of these associates at this store are absolutely rude. Not only did you loose my business, I will be calling corporate first thing tomorrow morning and the district manager. Maybe if she wasn't so rude about it and would have said I'm sorry ma'am. This was a miscommunication and won't happen again. I apologize...Things would be a little different but because you accused and assumed something and embarrassed me in front of my children and everyone else in that store I will never step foot into another Kohl's. I went at like 9:30 at night. When I went to check out they were having problems with jeans with the lady in front of me and they couldn't get it to ring up. After they got help and got it rung up the lady said it didn't take the discounts off because most of her stuff was 25%-50% off. Once it was my turn they couldn't get the purse I had to ring up so they made me go to customer service. The lady at customer service was rude and seemed annoyed that I only had one item and she had to help me with it. I get it, it's 10:00 at night and your tired but you don't have to be rude!
