She spent a while telling me more about the town, where to eat (and what to eat), where to shop, and must see places. My mother and I walked in and said hello to the woman in the front of the store and was greeted back with silence and ugly stares. The woman in the back of the store looks up and greets us in the same manor. They start having a conversation amongst themselves and that's when we realized we were not welcome in that store. If you are traveling and not from around the area I advise you not to spend your money at ReBlossom, don't even walk into the store if you have any type of melanin in your skin. Sometimes you forget how unkind the world can be but you'll be reminded in that business in downtown Marquette. If I could give this business 0 stars I would.

I took two items to this shop to sell. According to my contract, and the clerk, I had 60 days to…read morepick them back up if not sold. When I chose to do this, I was told they did not sell, but we were not able to locate them in the shop. I was also shown an ammended contract stating there was a10% pick up fee (not on my contract). When I finally spoke with the owner, she added that all items are rotated or donated, apparently at their discretion, apparently before the 60 days. She stated it is always written on contracts, (also not on mine!). The owner was extremely rude, ignored my guestions, and offered no apology or explaination on how this happened. Online, I came across Yooper Shirts. Since my ordering experience was so good, I thought I'd add this review! I was impressed when I called to inquire about sizes; the customer service was really friendly via the phone and they double checked some sizes and explained the fit to me. I placed an order and my only real caveat might have been the prices at first since they were a bit above average. My order arrived very quickly to California in just a few days. The sweatshirt I received was top-notch quality and I really liked the design--these elements, high quality material and designs, are definitely the strong suits of Yooper Shirts (pardon the pun). And, I could see why they might charge a bit more too. In person, once I got to their store on my visit, I was able to visit and see many more cool items besides the sweatshirts I had purchased. I read a bit about Yooper Shirts' history and found out it's a real local gem: They apparently began in Ishpeming, (say that 3 times quickly), and, over the years, grew into printing their own merchandise for clothing and opening a retail location in downtown Marquette. I definitely support small businesses like this and the small town atmosphere they organically grow in.

The gal at the counter was very cheerful and happy to help. I chatted with her and another shopper while I made my selections. It was a perfect spot for a drizzly afternoon, when thoughts turn to warmer apparel. Prices were very reasonable based on my experiences in other local yarn shops. I was impressed with the inventory, it's cleverly displayed in the space. I didn't feel overwhelmed, was very comfortable walking through the shop. I can see myself joining an open knit night here very easily. The class list is interesting, I definitely want to think about those (especially the broom-making). The store is stocked with my favorite brands and some new-to-me companies that I want to check out. My next visit will require some time and will definitely need some photos because the shop is perfectly charming and cozy!

In fact the men's clothes are great for summer vacation. You will definitely be the most dapper looking dude. For the ladies they have a much wider variety with the most beautiful dresses and tulle skirts. The dresses are mostly new vintage like pieces and they are gorgeous and will be perfect for cocktail dresses, weddings, and any other dress up event. A little pricey for my taste, but everything that I have gotten from there over the past couple years has lasted. Throughout the store they have home goods and some of them are in mint condition. They have a corner for vintage handbags and if you are looking for a unique piece you will find it here. Last trip I got the most beautiful pair of sunglasses and they were very affordable and well made. Their selection of sunglasses and old vintage frames is small but beautifully curated.
