Very disappointed with my recent visit to Kohls. I left in tears after being treated so poorly. Coming from a customer service background, I know how frustrating it is to have a customer show up an hour before closing time, but if your sign says open until 10, I expect to be able to shop and buy my items before you close at 10 pm. There was one employee there who was so kind and incredible, going above and beyond to find out what I needed and what she could do to help. At around 9:30 the manager walked up and coldly demanded his work to start cleaning. She reluctantly said, "but I'm helping a customer..." didn't seem to matter because he still had her leave. She tried her best to shout from the other side of the store more options for me to try over there. So so kind. It was nearing close and I'm getting stressed and insecure with the death glares and crossed arms meeting me whenever I looked to someone for help. I tried to hustle trying clothes on before close in 10/15 minutes and suddenly all the lights in the dressing room shut off. I ask if anyone is there and they say, "oh yes, we're just getting ready to close". I had to ask them to please turn the lights on just so I could see getting dressed. Feeling like the biggest inconvenience, I made my way to the registers where I was told they had already shut down their systems so I would have to use self check out. Keep in mind, it's still before closing time at 10. A different, female manager stands with arms crossed and an angry face staring at me at I struggle to get clothes off hangers and remove the security tags. If you wanted to get out so fast, why not help the frantic woman in tears in front of you. I'm shocked and appalled at the management who are obviously adding to Kohls dying energy. I came here to return some Amazon orders. I was greeted as soon as I walked in, and an employee helped me get a cart to put my boxes in (I had 3 I was trying to juggle). After you do an Amazon return, they give you a 25% off coupon to use. Genius!! So I stayed and did some Christmas shopping and found some really great deals. It wasn't crowded, and the store was clean and neat. The employee that checked me out was just as friendly as the one that greeted me. What a great shopping experience it was tonight! read more

A Kohl's employee made predatory remarks towards me (a minor) while checking out today. He proceeded to ask me if I was over 18 yet where I replied no. He then said "oh, could have gotten myself in a lot of trouble there" and proceeds to look me up and down. Then after that very inappropriate comment, he then asked where I go to school. Which in most cases would not be creepy but in this case after those predatory comments, this was very inappropriate and a little scary. And knowing that he was saying all this with not a care in the world and with his boss less than ten feet away was shocking and disgusting! read more

Fast and friendly customer service. I needed to exchange a mop I bought online because it did not work. I was able to make the exchange easily. My only wish is that there were clear signs pointing in the right direction for returns and exchanges. I first waited in the line up front and then was told to go to the desk in the back. Then I waited at the desk in the back but was told to go to a different desk. So if you have a return or exchange just go straight to the very back left of the store to the desk marked service desk. I was not the only one who got confused because on the way out I heard the front cashier say to another woman to go to the back desk for returns after she had waited in a long line up front. read more

This Kohl's went above and beyond for us when we were in a pinch. My son was getting into his tux for homecoming and we could not get the pants adjusted/tightened to stay on him - and there were no belt loops on them. And now we're going to be late. He thought of using suspenders, but we didn't have any. So, I looked at Kohl's online and it showed that they had them at this store. Because we were already late and in a big hurry, I decided to call the store. I called the store, asked for the men's department, and got Scott. Scott was the most polite and helpful person ever with his "yes ma'ams." I said "Scott, I need a huge favor" ... and I told him the story and asked him to get the suspenders and put them at the checkout for us because we were already late. And he was on it. We got to the store, kid ran in, suspenders were at the checkstand and he's set. Now we're in the parking lot trying to put on the suspenders. And we're late, and we just cannot get these things on, and they keep popping off him. So, my son run's back in to the store to see if someone in there can help him. And they did. The lady paged for someone, couldn't get a response quick enough, so she did it herself. (We didn't get her name.) We were super grateful for the extremely accommodating and eager-to-please/assist customer service that we received from this Kohl's. Side note - the suspenders were on sale, and it showed a promo code online. So, the kid showed the bar code at checkout to get the additional % off. Kohl's has great sales too. read more

I can't recall a time when I was in a store where NO ONE wanted to help me‍ I guess that the part of the store that takes Amazon returns must keep them in business. I asked 2 employees simple questions and, I'm not embellishing, got blank stares from both of them. If you work in the bedding department, first, you should know if you have heated throws and second, the general area they are in. Gave up and went to household looking for a slow cooker.... No prices on anything. I'll not waste my time going here again and cut up my Kohl's credit card when I got home. read more

I would not give them even one star for poor. In dec I called and talked to the manager and said I had a 50.00 Kohls cash and being in business and busy it slipped my mind that I even had that. I called and explained and she said they would honor it and I also had one for 10.00 that was still good. the other lapsed only by days. I went .... picked stuff out for my grandson.... went to the register and explained and they called said manager and she threw me under the bus and just said it was up to whoever was in charge and did not honor her words. Son fell and split his head open on a broken clothing display. He was bleeding everywhere and while I was trying to hold him and keep compression on his wound employees were following me around asking me to fill out an accident report. No offer to help or see if he was ok. I was sobbing and repeatedly saying I needed to find my husband. No help in locating him. Again just followed around while an employee kept reporting to someone over her headset where I was so the manager could find me to fill out a report. Again no concern with my sons gushing wound. Still haven't heard from risk management to help with our ER bill. Shocked and disappointed in the employees at the Meridian location. read more

This location is pretty clean and well organized. I appreciate the sections designated for clearance -- as it allows the rest of the sales floor to be merchandised appropriately. Also, I went to the store earlier today. It was nice to find some items for competitive prices. Also, the Kohl's app manages my coupons and the rewards card gives money back in the form of coupons to be used for future purposes. One nice surprise is that Kohl's also offers gift cards to local restaurants. It makes gift shopping a lot easier!! :) read more

I missed a payment and the called me. I authorized them to pay the balance off and thought it was done. Two months later they tell me I missed my last two payments because instead of paying the entire balance they only charged me 230 of the 250 I owed. Then said I owed two late payments and when I asked for a copy of the first recorded call that I authorized the entire payment on they said they couldn't give it to me. Kohls is a horrible place to do credit. They are shady as f*. read more

The store was a bit chaotic in the menswear clearance section. Packed and very hard to find and xl men's tops. Almost everything was M or 2Xl plus.... they have clean dressing rooms and nice cashiers. I had a good experience overall with my husband and daughter. What has happened to Kohl's?...used to be one of my favorite stores. Arrived here this evening to look for a purse. The place was empty...only a handful of customers were in the store. Employees were milling around, but no one bothered to ask customers if they needed any help. Went to the handbag section and the place was a mess. Stuff in the aisles...and the purses were all disheveled. It looked like a thrift store. I went to the front counter to ask a question and the girl just pointed me back to where I came from. Asked another employee and she acted as if I was annoying her and tried to get away as fast as possible. Saw a couple of managers chatting and another trying to avoid eye contact in case he should have to answer a question. How sad. This once innovative store looks like a shadow of its former self. When you have more employees than customers in the store, it should be a wake-up call. read more

I've been here twice (always give a second chance, right?) and both experiences were bad. All at checkout. This week, I stood in line with two others (separate parties), while THREE cashiers were working. Two were at one register - one was bagging and one was running the register. BOTH were chirping away like birds, taking a lot of time for the chat part. The third cashier studiously ignored us. When one of my line mates got so frustrated (we had already all talked amongst us about the wait time and wasted time), she asked the third if she could ring or call for more cashiers. Turns out #3 was in training and reading her manual. Yoohoo?! Trainers?! Someone should train every staffer to watch for pissed off customers! Back to the two talkers -- one was Marsha, older, white-is hair. When she was asked if more cashiers could be called, she said, "Oh! I was so busy here I didn't see the line!...." and called another cashier. Yoohoo....Trainers?! We were standing about 10 feet from her station. The other cashier -- the one who had been bagging? -- was immediately sent to a checkout counter -- on the other side of the store. Whaaaa? Someone else was dispatched to a checkout counter at our side of the store. More wasted time. (Also, the bagger could have moved to a checkout position much sooner....) I was first in the line and had waited almost ten minutes -- doesn't SOUND like a lot, but try it waiting in a line, listening to two cashiers chat their way through those ten minutes...it was mind-bending. There is no reason to go to Kohls above any other place -- and there is every reason not to with this level of customer care. read more

What's up with Kohl's, on Eagle Rd., in Meridian....not doing anything about the appearance of the inside of the store? All of the clerks were most helpful...but the clothes thrown in piles on the lower racks and hanging racks being totally empty, gave the appearance of the store going out of business. Is this store closing? I'm sure they are working with a short staff...due to the virus but I'm also sure more and more people will shop on-line, or shop other stores before shopping in that Kohl's store again. That's just sad to see, especially with the amount of hours the store is closed and could be straightened and made ready for in-store shoppers. read more

This is a solid clothing and accessories shop. They have a good assortment, it's easy to get around, the staff is friendly. Here in Idaho Kohl's has always been my go to shop for my new threads. Prices range from real cheap to "no way I'm getting that," but they have great sales and an awesome way of letting you know about them. I'll include a picture. I shop at Kohl's in Meridian all the time. The associates are always friendly and helpful. There is a cashier, her name is Sandy, that works on the ladies registers. She's amazing! She's polite, professional and her customer service skills are top notch! When I go to check out, and I'm waiting line, I'll let other customers go ahead of me so I can go to Sandy's registrar. I just enjoy her kindness and willingness to help out any way she can. You don't find excellent service like this very often. So to the Store Manager at Kohl's, thank you for having Sandy in the spotlight at Kohl's, she's definitely one of the reasons I love to shop at Kohl's! Thank you Sandy!! read more

Annie is a great clerk and helped with w/ this issue at Kohls. If you have a cash gift card for Kohls...watch out! Kohls will NOT let you use it any way you want. I made a purchase to get my 30% discount and I always turn around and Pay in Full right there so I do NOT get a bill. Nope...Kohls will not let you do that. Ridiculous, right? Cash is cash?! So, I probably will not be shopping at Kohls in general. However, this store in Meridian has very nice people that truly want to help. Annie & Jim & Troy are great! Not their fault. BEWARE!!! I went in to do an exchange for two different items and both items were full retail at $16.00. One of the items I purchased yesterday at $8.99 and the item I wanted to purchase today was on sale for $6.99. The lady at the back return counter did a straight across exchange cause I told her I wanted to "exchange" the items. She got an attitude when I told her I wanted sale prices since the one I was buying was less. I then had to wait for a manager to come up and void the transaction. I was there on Saturday and when I got to the counter with an outdoor, clearance rug that I had hauled around their store for an hour, matching up things and picking out the perfect items for my client, since I am a decorator. A nice lady who was at the register said, " oh these aren't on clearance let me call my manager, Jim," Jim pranced his butt up there and said "I will go look to see if these are on clearance". There's no way he could've looked so he called her on the radio and said "no those aren't on clearance " and they insinuated that I had switched their tags so I went back to the Outdoor clearance department only to find that he wasn't there, like he said he would meet me there, and every single rug in that department was marked down on clearance. I asked to go into his office to talk to him but he refused to do that so it became a yelling and screaming match- him yelling at me and me yelling at him. He even made a fist at me. I had a bad experience at Kohl's many months ago but I used to shop there only at Kohl's to the tune of over 50,000 a year. I am a decorator and spend a large amount of money but I can tell you that I came home this time and cut my Kohls card and I will never ever step foot in their store again. Shame on you, Jim! Came in to pick up my online purchase. The line was long because rather than directing the people to returns for returns and online pickup for online pickup they made everyone stand and wait for returns customers and exchange customers to be helped using the excuse that the computer was not working. The lie was bold face as they were clearly using more than one computer. We were then asked after finally reaching the front of the line if all behind us were there for an online pickup as well. It was at that point they finally decided to radio someone to come and do the job that should already be taking place as they had been open for several hours. So the entire line of people who had stood waiting to be helped were told to move aside and wait. The gal who finally came had to physically go collect your items. What's the value sending your customers a message telling them their order is ready when it's clearly not? Will never come to this store again. read more
