I used to love Kohl's until they started changing everything. I've been with them since they opened the store. I order a lot online if I can't find it in the store. For the first time this Christmas one package was missing. I had just found out I had cancer and was not home. I had told them to send it so I could sign for it, which they didn't. I called to let them know. I didn't receive the package and they had a picture that UPS delivered it. I've never had a problem with them until now. They have decided to keep my money which is almost $600 also using Kohl's cash of $160 and they are not sending me another replacement. I even spoke to corporate. I'm not sure what I can do but I have a police report and it still didn't make a difference. The only thing I can do is take it to court. Their reasoning behind this is they're telling me that too many people are saying they're not receiving their packages and they can't keep putting out money. I told her this is the first time that this is ever happened to me. I would have received it the end of December. Needless to say this will be the last time that I will ever shop at Kohls. I will file a claim with the BBB and file small claims. Cancer is a serious issue. So now they have my money and they have my ring It's bad enough when they tell you what you can use your cash on and the dates between you can use it. I'm going to post this as many places as I can so that other people do not get scammed by Place. read more

The store allows people inside to not wear protective masks. Today I saw this very robust tall muscular fellow walking all over the store without a mask on and then he went to customer service where it should've been obvious that he did not have a mask and he stood in line and was waited on and then he left. Why is a state mandate ignored? Not a single employee approached the man while I was shopping so I just left my cart and exited. read more

Kohl's in Ranson is my usual go-to spot when I'm in need of some retail therapy. They have plenty of brands you'd recognize like Chaps, Columbia, Polo, Nike, Vera Wang, Marc Anthony, and most recently added, Under Armour. I like the way the store is designed. The customer service center and restrooms are right up front so you don't have to go searching the entire store like some other Kohl's stores I've been in. Most importantly, it seems like they take pride in their store appearance. Clothes are always meticulously folded and organized properly. There are usually display stands set up right as you come in so you can see new arrivals. They have a small make-up counter with some great brands like Lorac as well as a perfume counter with somewhat limited fragrances. I find myself spending the most time in the jewelry department. They have a wide variety of sterling silver, which I appreciate since I have sensitive ears. Their prices are very reasonable in comparison to some high end department stores. The shoe department in this store is large and has a great selection, although usually cluttered and disorganized. All in all, I will be back again... and again and again... read more

If you are going to close early then you should put it on the website or at least put sign on the door. I drove all the way to Charles Town, put a bunch of stuff in my cart only to hear the announcement that the store was closing an hour early and in 5 minutes. I didn't have time to try anything on. I shop faithfully at this store, have a kohl's charge card and I'm supposed to be a MVC. Well I just got screwed out of 80.00 in kohl's cash. I placed an order online today 12/12/19 for store pick up in ranson. Revived a text at 8am said my order was ready for pick up, go to pick my order the same day I placed it, they have the order but can't give it to me because the pick up expired, said I had 7 days to pick it up even though I just ordered it today. Can't tell me why the order was expired even though I picked iup less than 12 hrs after placing it. Kohl's cash hasn't been refunded at all, claims it will be. Any other time an order was cancelled my kohl's cash is refunded immediately. I SPEND WAY TOO MUCH MONEY AT THIS STORE AND ILL BE RETURNING EVERY CHRISTMAS GIFT IVE PURCHASED FROM THEM TOMORROW. I'm done. Keep your kohl's cash. This keeps getting better and better it's been over 48 hrs and still no r Update just went to kohl's to spend gift cards I got for Christmas and cashiers aren't trained to take gift cards. They took my phone and kept it for 20 mins while they figured out how to take a damn gift card. Then I had a 5.00 off coupon since she didn't scan that before entering the gift card I can't use it. This store has to be under new management nothing but issues recently and I can guarantee you Kohls will never get another dime from me. It's been awhile since I've actually been in the Kohl's brick and mortar store in Ranson, WV but decided to stop in to see if they had any winter coats. I was truly shocked when I walked into the store. First and foremost, they have re-arranged the entire store and there appears to be no logical organization. The walk ways were filled with carts of things I assume will eventually find their way to the racks but in the meantime it looks like the entire store is trying to mimick that of a discount store where no one has any regard for putting things back in place and chaos is the order of the day. Everything seemed to be on clearance and in some spaces I couldn't see a way to eve get to them. I continued to walk through the store shaking my head; never did find any coats so I simply left saying to myself that I don't think I'll be going back into the store. I don't understand what has happened in the store and on what those in charge are basing the organizational changes but it really does not make for a very good shopping experience. I remember after the pandemic things had been trimmed down a bit but there was clear organization and compartmentalization within the store making for an enjoyable shopping experience after not being able to actually visit a store in person. So very sad to see all that go. Really wish management would consider asking shoppers what they'd like to see in a store and perhaps take their comments into consideration when contemplating changes. I would also like to encourage customers to shop wisely. Some of the sale prices at Kohl's are higher than the regular prices elsewhere, especially in the toy department. Even with a savings coupon, the prices can usually be beat if one takes the time to shop around. The whole experience made me sad. It's bad enough that there are fewer and fewer stores existing to actually walk into but some of those still around don't seem to work very hard to make shopping fun again. read more

This kohls is always clean and organized. The employees that are on the floor are always friendly and ask if you need any help. The bathrooms are always clean as well. I've never had any bad experiences here! read more

I had an issue today using the store kiosk. Nikki and Dana truly went above and beyond to resolve the issue. While it wasn't a store issue, they helped facilitate a positive outcome. I have never had a less than stellar experience at this particular Kohl's location. I get better service at this Kohl's location than even higher-end retailers. Keep up the great work! read more

Weekly I visit this store. I generally receive great service. I was extremely disappointed when I was unable to be helped in the Jewelry department. Three ladies = no help. I had to wait for a fourth person. The black lady was with a customer and the two older ladies were off chatting. I was told we are in beauty. Great job Kohl's. read more

The store, selections & pricing in general are great, and would otherwise be worthy of 5 stars. Unfortunately, the manager, Kristy S., and her appalling treatment of those of us with service dogs brings it down to a 3. As I was finishing up my shopping, heading to the registers, I was startled by Kristy yelling out to me "that's not a service dog, you have to get out" I explained it is a service dog & I would gladly show documentation after I checked out. She got more angry saying "no, no, no" & pulled out a walkie-talkie (practically foaming at the mouth) & started demanding for security to come out to take us out of the store. I said to her "you're not even going to wait to see my i.d card? This is against my rights" She replied "no, & you can contact corporate, & they'll back this up" Needless to say, I was blown away with the treatment I received. I've never once been spoken to in such a way in ANY business I've been in with my service dog. This was against rule of law & I will never enter this Kohls again. I would be hesitant to advise any other customers with service dogs to shop there either, considering you may have an unfortunate encounter with Kristy as I have. I've been told this is not the first time that she has acted in this way either. How this woman was promoted to a position of authority is baffling to me. I've learned to like the place. Mostly there for clothes, but the jewelry counter has saved my butt many times when I've forgotten a birthday, xmas our anniversary. The categories of what they carry is a little strange (toys?) Always seems to confuse me. read more
