I wanted to shout out a young man named Conlin (?) for extremely good customer service after what was a very bad experience with another incredibly rude employee (Tracy) at The West Lebanon, NH store. My Customer pick up item was not in the bin when I arrived and we were assisted by this young man who looked through every single bin in the hopes of finding it and when he could not, he refunded the order with a merchandise credit and helped me locate the items that were on that order, even looking "on the dock" for one of the items when my size was not on the racks. This young man was friendly, apologetic and eager to help and made this bad experience better. I did speak to Manager Chris about this employees excellent service, so I do hope he was acknowledged as he deserves it. read more

I was going to write a five star until we got to the cash register. We came over here to purchase and donate toys for a nonprofit organization that sponsors needy and homeless families who would otherwise not have a Christmas. We went through the toy section and were pleasantly surprised at seeing Leggos on sale with a table on which several unicorn Lego toys were placed next to a 30% off placard. We got several among other toys. Got to the register and the cashier rang one at full price. Upon our challenge, he started "apparently it depends on the unicorn". Take out or leave it. To put items on a table marked 30% off and then ring the item at full price is horrible ethics. Sadly, we have been assiduous Kohls customers, especially during holiday season. read more

Don't shop at kohls, they consistently advertise special in store that are deceptive at best. But the real kicker is their just finished labor day sale. Spend $25.00 and get $10.00 off. So I got suckered in, spent $170.00 My wife also went separately and spent $140. Plus. Unfortunately as with most transactions at kohls, there was an item marked as a sale price for $27.95, normal is $39..99 Rang up at the $39.99 and the $10.00 we were suppose to get was split across everything purchases. So when we returned the sweater that was miss charged @ $39.99 minus $2.63 (part of ten dollar for spending $25.) they only credit the $37.36 So even though I had still spent over a $100.00 even after the return, my $10.00 turned into $7.27 When I brought this up to both the store manager and corporate customer service. Both had the same answer, that:s our company policy. So the company policy is use false advertising to their advantage to screw customers. So between my wife and I we spent about $350.00 which I returned today. I have no further interest in ever shopping at kohls again. read more

Excellent, kind, helpful, cheerful service from Brenda at register. Able to explain KohlReward/ Charge card service and able to sign me up quickly. She very carefully folded each of my clothing items before bagging which I Greatly Appreciated. Store was clean, well laid out. Easy to find associate when had a question/ needed assistance. Good selection for the upper valley. Has nice home decor at okay prices. I am happy to have some chain stores around here for those times when you need a new shirt for an occasion or you have to get someone a birthday gift. It is well maintained and never messy. read more

So disappointed with today's visit. I have been shopping at this Kohl's for years now but have never seen such rude employees. If you like to be followed around and stared at by employees while shopping, this is the place to go! Spent about 10 minutes in the makeup section just browsing, and was blatantly stared at and followed by an employee, who followed me down every aisle and stood a foot away from me. Sorry I take a while to make decisions!! Couldn't even decide what nail polish I wanted and ended up leaving with nothing. I understand you are trying to do your job but pretend like you're doing something or be a little more discreet about it. I'll be shopping at JCPenny across the street from now on! read more

This is the largest Kohl's department store I have visited in the area. I typically shop in the South Burlington, VT, store, then I discovered the Lebanon store. This store is much, much larger than Burlington's, and the selection in clothing reflects that. It is really easy to get to, you can see it from the interstate. It's right off the exit, with ample parking. The staff at this location are highly efficient and more than willing to help or offer you a discount/coupon (unlike Btown). No sales tax :) read more

Good selection, decently pleasant check out staff. However, staff that work in jewelry could work on customer service skills. If I'm here to pick up something, it doesn't make sense to have me wait while you sort inventory. Multi-task, much? Also, telephone skills could be improved. Being rude leaves a bad taste in one's mouth. So does being slow. read more

This is my favorite store. I drive to West Lebanon once a week to go there. Friendly clerks and great discounts as well as high quality clothing. I also have a Kohls card and shop online. read more

My dealings with Kohl's of West Lebanon customer service have been among the best of any I have experienced in all of my shopping. My two other favorite stores are LL Bean (the gold standard) and Eddie Bauer (also excellent). I just finished a phone dialogue with a customer service representative in West Lebanon about a defective online purchase and she could not have been more pleasant or more helpful. I have shopped at this Kohls ever since it opened. Sadly, it has gone downhill. I don't think this is a local issue, but rather chain-wide. For example, the store often gives a promotion called "Kohls cash", where you spend a certain amount, and then you get, ie, $10 kohls cash to spend over the following 10 days. In the past, I would often forget to spend the Kohls cash, and then find it one day, and even though the 10 day period was up, they would redeem it. About a year ago, they said "not any more". OK, not a consumer friendly move, but its a tough economy out there, so they are cutting back. Not the end of the world, and besides, it was my fault not using it when I was supposed to, but I have a life besides thinking about Kohls. Anyway, this weekend, I bought some things for my daughters there. I had gotten a coupon in the mail - they are ALWAYS sending coupons, for 15% off, but I forgot to bring it. This too has happened many times in the past, but they ALWAYS gave the discount anyway, because they know they mail those coupons out every 2 weeks or so. Anyway, for the first time ever, the cashier says "No, I can't give you any discount". I was pretty surprised since Kohls has always been super customer friendly, and this was the second cut back in about a year. She said I could come back with the coupon -- really, drive back to the store to save a couple of bucks, but spend it in gas? It just seems the "customer friendly" nature of Kohls is being chipped away steadily. The last thing they do that others don't is allow you to return for any reason, even without your receipt. That will probably go next. They should wake up and realize there is a JC Penneys across the parking lot,. Customers have choice, and when you get used to a certain way of being treated, it just annoys people when you change the rules. read more
