I wish this food truck would find a brick and mortar in North Wilmington!! But I guess I'm okay checking their weekly Facebook to see where they will be parked at. This truck has quite the following. First time I rolled up there were already 5 families waiting for their food. Had to wait about 15-20 mins for my food. Worth the wait. I loved every dish I ordered. They are on the smaller side so I would order 3 dishes for every 2 people eating. Cash only!!!! read more

Koi On The Go is my go to spot for cheat meals! I don't know how healthy they are, but eating "dirty" never tasted so good! I never feel guilty about eating anything on the menu. I became a faithful supporter of Koi On The Go in 2016 when I visited the food truck on a whim. I had always seen them outside of the Newark Co-op Market but they were always crowded. I tried the fish tacos but quickly became a fan of other items on the menu. My favs being the crabcakes over rice and the dang dang noodles. 10/10! The owner Paul is very hospitable and accommodating. He has a great memory, is an excellent multitasker, and an even better salesman. As someone who never liked ginger, I immediately became a fan of his soy-ginger sauce. He even brought me extra jars to buy along with his spicy mayo to use at home. A very consistently good experience. Definitely worth the wait in line. Any parties or major events, I recommend them for catering. I suggest everyone visit them at the Newark Co-op's Farmer's Market every Sunday. (P.S. Tip Paul!!!) read more

They were at the Linvilla Farm food truck rodeo after reportedly (on YELP) closed. The fish tacos were delicious, cold unfortunately but still had a crisp to them and it was appreciated that they doubled up on the corn tortillas cause they are generous with the toppings. read more

Ive seen reviews but this is my first time trying Koi on the go...and it has met my expectations. I ordered the Port Style. It consists of fried fish over top veggie fried rice garnished with spicy mayo, cilantro, chopped tomatoes and a lime. The operator advised if I like spicy to try the home made spicy fish sauce, which I did! Omg! So good! The fish is fresh and cooked to perfection, crispy on the outside moist tender fish on the inside. I dont care for all the veggies in the rice, more a personal preference but the rice is delicious and compliments the fish perfectly. Its not overly seasoned since you have the spicy mayo and lime and the option of the fish sauce, which i thought was perfect. Definitely gonna try the dang dang noodles next! read more

KOI was at Wilmington Brew Works on 8/31. Though the choice is limited, the proprietor (Pete?) is very friendly and takes time to adapt menu to one's tastes and allergies/preferences. We had Fish Tacos and Crab Cakes. Although a little pricey for a Food Truck, the food was delicious. Fresh crisp, tasty and what you expect at a truck, good conversation and service! read more

This isn't your usual fish fry on a fancy fontoon. Two large pieces of deep fried fish per taco, and you get not one but TWO tacos for $7. Fresh veggies, homemade spicy mayo and spicy fish sauce drizzle on two corn tortillas each. I couldn't believe it but I felt amazing and pretty full after eating the tacos. Mmmm, dat spicyyy. The crab cake sandwich for $9 looked pretty darn good too. When the black lady in line says she hunts the guy down who runs Koi because the food is so good and they know each other on a name basis you better believe that food is damn good. The line for this place was out of this world at the Delaware Art Museum event too so I made the right choice instead of getting a sandwich. read more

There are no bad choices at this food truck. Crab cake sandwich - Its not what you would expect, it's crunchy, spicy and full of flavor & melts in your mouth. Port special - This is their chicken fried rice topped with the fried fish used for the tacos. Very filling and worth the $10. Fish tacos - I usually get a combo with one taco and crab cake sandwich for $10. The tacos are soo fresh, not greasy or heavy at all. Paul takes care to top each one with their sauce, fresh tomatoes, cilatro and radish slice. Steamed dumplings - If these are on the menu, add them to your order. Best dumplings I've ever had. Overall Koi is one of the best in the area, the owners are great people, they remember your name and are always smiling even when it's 100 degrees outside. Sometimes there is a wait but it's because everything is made fresh and it's worth the wait. read more

I have their fish tacos the first Friday of every month at the Delaware Center for Contemporary Arts (http://www.thedcca.org/) on the riverfront at the monthly "Art Loop". http://www.artloopwilmingtonde.com/ Koi on the go is a vendor there at this on going, FREE arts and culture night, from 5pm-9pm. The fish tacos are served on soft taco wraps, with fresh lettuce and radish slices, the fish is hand breaded and served crispy and covered in an amazing creamy sauce. Additional sauces are available to add your own level of spice, the thai peppers in them are spicy and definitely add some kick! This food is in high demand, they can be found outside of the DCCA at lunch time on Tuesdays and Thursdays, and at various places around the local area, they are well worth tracking down. read more

This food truck serves some seriously delicious food. I LOVED the crab cake. One of the best crab cakes I've ever had. Light, super crispy, full of crab and complimented with a great chipotle mayo. The fish tacos are solid also. I've also had the pulled pork slider. It was okay, nothing special to me, just some pulled pork that I've had before. We've also had the chicken fried rice and that was just okay too. We will be back for the crab cakes over and over again. I will be craving them! read more

I went to lunch in downtown Wilmington at the park where all the food trucks gather and tried out Koi. Koi has about 5 menu items and I heard the fish tacos were really good. They offer for 2 tacos for $7 or you can combo it by getting 1 taco and another menu item for $9. I went with the combo and for my second choice I had the curry chicken over rice. Both were very good the fish taco was flounder and had very fresh taste to it. The chicken curry was also. Pretty good with just the right amount if spice to it, which was light but string enough to give the meal a good flavor. Koi is definitely a good food truck to try. read more

Love the port style dish, it's a good deal @ $10 & tasty. you get about 4 peices of fried fish, and the Thai rice - very satisfying.... but the fish tacos ($7) & crab cake ($9) while delicious, are small & overpriced and don't come with any side of rice, chips, etc. they're more like appetizers.
