I am trying all the Mexican food trucks in North Wilmington and around Hockessin. I had 2 pastor (pork) tacos for lunch. The soft corn tortillas were excellent. I like that these tortillas tasted like corn and not flour. I could have gone into their store to eat, but I chose to eat in my car. The staff were wearing gloves. read more

I'm gonna drop a superlative: best burrito I've ever had. Chicken, rice, beans, grilled onions, avocado, two delicious salsas, and even a small cup of birria broth--amazingly good. I'm so glad I turned into the driveway and gave this place a shot. I say "place" and not "truck" because they've also rented out the storefront here and turned it into an adorable, cozy little cafe. You can sit inside to eat your taco truck meal, or order a coffee and a fantastic piece of Dulce de leche cake. Either way you won't go wrong. They're super nice people too. I spent 30 min shooting the breeze in my halting Spanish with the lovely lady from Veracruz who runs the cafe. Will definitely return! read more

Had the chicken and pastor tacos and chicken empanadas they were very good and right amount of spice. The service was great and received the my order quickly. I would definitely try them again and recommend this food truck. The only issue is I wish I took a picture of the meal, but it happens when the food smells and tastes great. read more

Turbo Mexico is an unassuming food truck parked in the BP gas station parking lot on 202. The food here is pretty good. I highly recommend the Al pastor tacos and the chorizo. Chicken tinga and carnitas could use a little work. Elote and guac are tasty sides. My only gripe with the place is the wait time. We ordered at the window only to be told to wait 15 mins. Seems like a long time for a food truck. Fortunately, this problem can be solved by ordering online ahead of time. Give this place a shot. It's as authentic as it gets for North Wilmington. read more

Positively delicious! Clean and great service. My husband had the chicken burrito with onion rings and I had the French toast with bananas. My husband loved the burrito and it came with Christmas sauces (red and green). My French toast was nice and crisp. Now, we decided to take an assortment of empanadas to go. We just had the empanadas for lunch and they were delicious. Run do not walk to this gem in North Wilmington. read more

I had the opportunity to try Turbo Mexico at the Baltimore Food Festival on yesterday. I was excited to try one of their featured menu items so my friend and I jumped right in line. I got the spicy Birria ramen and the young woman who took my order was super kind! I walked away to eat and realized there was a piece of plastic in my food. I walked back up to the food truck and the moment I stepped up there was a woman (who I believe may be the owner) who immediately, with a huge attitude said "YES?!". I tell her the situation and tells me that it's an onion. Excuse me!!? She tried to gaslight me into believing that what I was seeing with my own eyes was an onion. (She realized how long her line was and didn't want to lose those customers. ). She took another look, spoke with the chef inside and realized I was right! She immediately changed her tone and willingly replaced my order and loudly said thank you once she placed it into my hand. I took the order but I did not appreciate how rude she was throughout this entire transaction. Her approach should have been completely different especially since there was an inedible object in the food they sold to me. Even if I wanted to try this place again, I wouldn't simply because of the customer service. read more

Ok, so we where hesitant to order, just because it's a new place and well, I guess we're just weird?? Anyhow, I'm so happy we did, because this is our new Goto Taco place. Ordered the Birria and "pizza" and both were absolutely AMAZING!!! The guy cooking was incredibly nice and helpful. He happily put some of the items (on side side) because a few of my kids are picky. Wait time was reasonable and the location has plenty of parking and easy to get to!!! Plus! Their prices are reasonable unlike the other taco trucks in the area. I love this place!!! read more

Turbo Mexico definitely deserves its other five star ratings. I've had tacos from here several times and all of them has been very good, especially the birria tacos. I did not think the aguas fresca was great, but am willing to give it another try. This is the sister site of Tacos Mexigo taco truck (Naamans & Ridge Rd's)! Turbo Taco is equally delicious and I eat here many times a week. The people who run the truck are fantastic and make such great platters. The street tacos are average at best. Chorizo was not bad but Al pastor was garbage, and everything on the menu is highly overpriced.

I started going to get lunch on Friday's when I'm up that way. The food is great and the customer service is excellent. I'm glad I stopped. I can't make it this Friday but I will get something on Saturday. read more
