Even better that it was a large mug of this divine sweet elixir, which had just the right bite from the chilli. I also ordered a salted caramel macaron which was delicious with it's subtle bursts of saltiness. My friend ordered her pregnancy fix yet again, another Iced Chocolate. This was in a league of its own compared to the one she ordered at Hawker Street Cafe earlier that morning. This was decadent with plentiful swirls of Belgian milk chocolate. The only real negative here (and it's a little one) is that the table wasn't cleared of our plates once we'd finished eating. And we stayed there for an hour after finishing our food, so that was a bit meh. Otherwise, E for Ethel is a nice little hideaway in North Adelaide and I can see why it's so popular and well-loved. The cappuccino that I ordered was really tasty, a perfect amount of foam with no bitter over-heated coffee taste. We had the apple, cinnamon & yoghurt crepes which were AMAAAZING!! Perfect crepey-ness. Thin but fluffy and not chewey, light and just sweet enough without being too desserty. My only complaint is that I felt the place was a little bit dark, but there is a seat by the front window.
