This was my first ever massage and what a perfect place to have it at. Linda was patient and talked me through the different types of massage they offer and made sure she knew what my problem areas were. One of the best spas that I've been too. I love the close convenient location! The waiting room is small but the ambiance is calming and very nice when you're inside. I've been here twice. My first visit was better than the second but I still love this place and highly recommend it. My first visit was better as I purchase a complete spa package with a massage, make up application, light refreshments, etc. It was amazing!!! For today's visit I just chose a 30 minute deep tissue massage. I was slightly disappointed as I was actually booked for an hour massage (I know, I shouldn't be complaining!) but it was more than I had planned to spend and therefore I was not prepared with a better tip for my massage therapist. I wish I was aware of that prior to going into the session. The receptionist was not very friendly and spoke softly so she was hard to understand. It may have been her first day because she was working with another person, but I feel that she could have verified what my appointment was so that I could have confirmed prior to me getting the hour massage and thereby having to pay for the full service. Nevertheless, I was still satisfied with my service. I had Linda as my massage therapist. Initially I was worried because I'm about 5'10" and she is about 5' and I was wondering if she would be able to use enough pressure but she did not disappoint!!! Lol she was awesome and I feel so great! I would recommend her for sure. Overall Kona Oasis is a beautiful spa and I would love to come back for more services. I really enjoyed this place. Everything was very homey and welcoming. I got a lash lift and tint and it turned out fabulous and went by way quicker than what was an hour. First visit was a special mother's day experience they hosted. My friend is a regular and invited me to try them out. They had complimentary mini make up sessions, mini chair massage, fresh cut flowers to make your own bouquet, cheese tray, spa water. I found it to be wonderful! I purchase a few of the make up products and love them still! The staff was super helpful and friendly too. I vowed to come back and today I did. My friend armed with gift certificates and birthday bucks treated for deluxe spa pedicures. So wonderful. From the massage chair to he vast color selection and pleasant conversation. This place is clean too! All current protocols adhered too which I was happy to see. Plastic curtain separating us was just fine. With covid I was wondering how the paraffin treatment would be and it was done in a plastic bootie bag! New to me. My toes are singing like a little choir lol. Brought my future mother-in-law in for manicures. The staff was so friendly, atmosphere is calm, and the manicures were great! I got the dazzle dry polish and it's lasted much longer than others have for me in the past. We both enjoyed and will be back. read more

What a surprise that this unassuming looking suburban house facing the airport is the site of one of the best facials I've ever had. My teenage daughter and I have very different skin and we both feel glowing two weeks after our appointments. The products are all so natural they have expiration dates of months, not years. Our facials included extra massages - mine were hand and scalp, her were hand and food. I had microdermabrasion and it was not stingy. All I can say is O.M.G... this place from the minute you walk in is heaven. The staff are so welcoming, they make you feel so comfortable. We were offered beverages upon arrival. I have never been much of a spa girl. That is until I met Tara and the ladies at Kona. It is a little gem on Cayuga Drive, minutes from anywhere. Tara's facials are like nothing I have ever experienced before. And as great as her facials are, she is an even more amazing human. Well At the time of my service it was wonderful. But let's talk about the next day I was In so much pain I could barely keep my head up or turn to my left side. Well I have a guy. I'm not sure he was new but he definitely was little too hard. And so it's been almost 2 weeks BEEN TO A CHIROPRACTOR 2X and I'm still having trouble turning my head to the left I've tried calling and I left messages.Not very happy! So the owner tried to make this right, Offered a free 60 mins. Massage, I agreed but they could only give it to me in 30 mins increments which I agreed to.. so I went today for the first one... I felt ok afterwards a little lightheaded but ok... So during the car ride home a pain started increasingly at my left collarbone combined with a headache, I called Kona oasis immediately I just wanted my daughter to have the last 30 mins. I was told that i would have to wait to talk to the owner Lisa about this that it would take a couple of days to hear back. I'm sure I wouldn't hear back. I'm just hoping I get better soon and hope that I dont have to pursue this further.( MAKING THIS A PAIN SOMEONE ELSES NECK) GOTTA LAUGH TO KEEP FROM CRYING read more

I don't usually do these nor ever feel comfortable writing an unfavorable review, but I feel I have to with this one. I chose to come here based on the great reviews. I had the nail dip service done and only one tech in the salon can apply it. It turned out nice, and the nail tech was very nice and explained everything she was doing. The spa itself is also very warm and welcoming. Now the problem, 1 and a half days after spending $50!! To get my nails done 1 popped off. This happened on a Saturday so it was too late to call and get it fixed. On Sunday, 2 more came off. So now after 2 days, I had 1 hand with only 2 painted nails! This service is supposed to last at least 2 -3 weeks!! I called the salon and told them. They indicated that the only tech who could do it was on vacation for a week! So now I have to live with these crappy looking nails half done after spending that much money! I was told I'd be reimbursed (but never was) and my next service would be on the house. Problem is, you can never get an appointment. There was no trying to accommodate or squeeze me in. I'd have to wait 2 weeks before I could get in. I've never encountered this with a nail salon. So I ended spending another $40 to have my nails done elsewhere. The new nail place said the dip nails were put on wrong and that's why they came off. I wish I would've taken pics. It was awful and I will not go back here, and nor have they reached back out to me, to try and make things right. Extremely disappointing! I usually only spend $30 for gels and decided to splurge and try the dip, boy, I won't make that same mistake twice. Poor product and poor customer service. read more

Kona Oasis lives up to its name. It really is an oasis in a very busy world. In addition to what has already been said, because I agree with all of it, there truly isn't one service provider at Kona that I wouldn't feel totally comfortable with. They are all top pros who obviously enjoy and take pride in their work. Massages, aroma touch, make-up consult, manis, pedis, waxing, facials, it's all so good. During and after you feel like a very pampered queen. My daughter and I took advantage of a spa day complete with ordered in lunch! It was so much fun we've made a regular spa day a tradition. Kona Oasis may be unassuming on the outside, but inside is a treasure trove. :) read more
