I absolutely love her warm spirit, calm, patient and delightful energy! I've struggled with IBS-C and proper food digestion for years, but never had a colonic. I now see that I've been missing out on a well kept secret for natural health and healing. Gen taught me so much about healing my colon and digestive system and made me feel very comfortable during my first few visits, as a newbie. I feel better now than I did 15 years ago when I had a colonoscopy and initially received an IBS diagnosis! My skin is much clearer, my digestive system is working as it should, I'm no longer retaining fluid in my feet and ankles, and I have a lot of natural energy - no drinks needed! Thank you, Gen, for all you've done and shared to help improve my health and make me more conscious of what I put into my body! I can't wait to return! If you're thinking about trying colon hydrotherapy or are searching for a new practitioner, give Gen a call. I promise, you won't regret it!

Throughout the past year I've been able to try their salt therapy room, vitamin shot, whole body vibration machine and foot detox. The salt therapy room was a cool experience and I loved that they had Bluetooth speakers inside the cubicle. I tried their whole body vibration machine today which was a wierd but cool experience. After a couple of minutes I tried a couple of the suggestive poses and became comfortable with the whole body vibration machine. Through the various treatments I've noticed my body feels better and soreness level is reduced as I tend to come here after a workout. The ladies at the front are sweet and friendly. I look forward to my next visit.

I scheduled a full body thermography, so there was a lot of prep involved. Or lack there of because you couldn't shower, brush your teeth, take vitamins and bunch of other items leading up to your appointment. They don't want anything to interfere with the results, which I totally get. My appointment went well, but there was some confusion as to my appointment to review the report. After a bunch of back and forth, I decided to just have my doctor (a certified smarty pants aka DO!) review it. All in all, I would still go back and try other services. I really want a detox foot bath!

In recovery I had Mr Patrick as my nurse and he was as a bit stern to get me moving but it is for the good and he answered multiple questions I had. In and out patient surgery was successful. I rarely leave negative medical reviews, but after everything I experienced, I feel obligated to…read moreshare this for anyone considering colorectal surgery here. I underwent an emergency surgery in October after a colon rupture, performed by Dr. Makala, who stabilized me and later referred me to Dr. Jrebi for a planned colostomy reversal due to his experience with these procedures. I went into surgery trusting I was in experienced hands. Unfortunately, my recovery became extremely complicated. Following surgery, I experienced major bleeding severe enough to require a blood transfusion. I also developed a UTI shortly afterward despite having no symptoms beforehand. During recovery in the hospital, I noticed a large open wound below my belly button with cauterization marks and staples around it -- something that had not been clearly explained to me in advance. I was experiencing significant pain and growing increasingly worried about my recovery. After only seeing my surgeon twice in the hospital, I specifically requested to speak with him because both I and several nurses were concerned. I was told I was "leaking," that tissue had been cauterized, and that it should simply reabsorb on its own. I wanted to trust that explanation. At my only follow-up appointment after discharge, staples were removed and my wound was checked. Although I repeatedly explained that I still felt very sick and was in considerable pain, I was told everything looked fine and was prescribed a muscle relaxer. When I asked when I would be seen again, I was told follow-up would happen through communication with my home health wound nurse rather than another appointment. Unfortunately, my condition worsened. I ended up back in the hospital with a large pelvic hematoma/fluid collection that had to be drained, and testing later showed bacterial infection. I required IV antibiotics (vancomycin and Unasyn), which I still administer at home, and eventually needed a wound vac as part of my recovery. What stayed with me most was the communication. When I raised concerns, I often felt dismissed or spoken to in a condescending way. At one point, I was reminded that the surgeon had "been doing this for 20 years," but when a patient is struggling and frightened, experience should come with clear communication and compassionate care. I recognize that surgical complications can happen. My frustration is not simply with complications themselves, but with how my concerns were addressed while I was clearly not recovering well. By the time I felt something was seriously wrong, it turned out something was. Because of my experience, when I returned to the hospital, I chose not to continue care with this surgeon and was treated by another physician instead.
