He will not accept responsibility for anything and will argue with you until the cows come home. The customer is never right is his policy. After your lawn is destroyed, they want to charge ridiculous amounts of money to "fix" it. I would definitely not recommend this company. Call TruGreen or another larger company if you want your yard taken care of properly.

If you complain he becomes hostile. He took my money and left me with a partial system that didn't even work. I have spent almost $1500 with another company to fix his mistakes. Avoid. From 6/27-7/8 I texted Doug 4 times, called once. Doug texted on 7/12, "you're about third in line and we do 1 every 3 to 4 days." I asked to be moved up and got no response. 8/24 - texted Doug for update and he responded "I'll have to check tonight" and never replied. 8/30 - texted Doug. He replied "we're getting ready to schedule you." Nothing from Doug for 3 weeks. Texted him on 9/21, asking "will you be coming next week?" He texted, "Thursday or Friday. Yes." 9/28 - I text Doug to call Ohio Utilities and he replied that he would. 9/29 - Doug texts me he'll be back in town on 10/4, and "that's about when the job will start." Doug didn't reach back out to me again until our attorney sent a demand letter on 10/18. Doug texted me that he would begin next morning. This would put start of project 4 weeks past the end of summer. Doug only gave 12 hours notice. Ohio Utilities had not marked property. All three were in violation of the contract. On 10/18 Doug admitted in writing that he overbooked his company's schedule and that he often does the markings himself instead of calling Ohio Utilities. Doug apologized for all of the delays and said he would issue a refund by "end first week Nov." Doug said, "I have great reputation and would never just take or hold deposits...I have no problem refunding and should receive by end first week Nov. Sorry for the delays." We wrote Doug again on 11/10/22, asking him to send the refund. He has not replied and has not sent a check. Here we are over 2 months later and still no resolution. Stay away!

Had to pay a lawn service several hundred dollars to help kill Johnson grass and other weeds. Lot of areas built up with topsoil are still bare. I contacted contractor and was told they did everything they were supposed to do. Also had them come again and repair where cable line was buried. It looked no better when they did this than when line was buried. So far I have spent almost $8000 dollars and still have to aerate the lawn and reseed hoping next year will grow back.
