I'm sure they are the same cats that take their reels in for service during July and expect it back same day. Bottom line, take care of your boat and stop blaming the mechanics. Unfortunately, after returning to Minnesota and launching the boat, the engine exhibited the same problems it had before the service visit. The issue had not been resolved, and I ultimately suffered another breakdown on the water and had to paddle back to shore. My disappointment is not the cost alone but the fact that a nearly new 2024 Honda 75 outboard left the shop with the original problem apparently unchanged. Based on my experience, I expected a more thorough diagnosis and a repair that addressed the actual cause of the malfunction.
