I took my daughter for an annul well exam, which was supposed to be covered 100% by our insurance plan. At the end of our appointment, the NP asked if I had any questions. I had a generic question, so NP visually looked at my child and said she could not see anything wrong. It took her less than a minute. Yet, they sent me the bill later with an extra charge of $90 on a top of a couple of other charges, that apparently were optional and costed extra. If you fill those fields in on your questionnaire, they immediately assume your child needs the service???? (In other words, your child is immediately opted in without any indication or hint that this is something extra they push on you, and insurance does not cover it). When I have called and questioned this charge, I've been told to send a letter to the review board and to beg them for a refund, which I did not bother doing simply because it is not worth my time. Shady and questionable business practices.

First I want to say I've been pleased with the doctors at CDA Pediatrics. But that doesn't make up…read morefor the crooks they have running the business side of it. We were charged almost $1,000 for a procedure that never happened. It's told that they have what they call "global fees" for each type of care and our son's injury fell into that category. Even though there was no surgery performed we still got charged for it! I was billed for the office visit. Ok sure. I was billed for the x-rays. Yep, reasonable. I was billed for the materials used for my son(ace bandage wrap and a piece of molded plastic) yes, I agree to that as well. Then, I was billed for a "surgery". No surgery was ever performed. No follow up visit was ever made. (Other than the one I was billed for separately. Again) No prescription was ever issued. I was told if I disagreed with the charge I could write a letter to the review board. I did. They responded with sorry, but you have to pay us anyway or we'll send you to collections. So, I've been paying on this fraudulent bill for months as much as I can afford and they have the audacity to charge me interest for a bill I dispute as it is unjust! My advice would be to go to any other pediatrician if you can as these people take advantage and profit from sick and injured children with outrageous bills that they can make up at any time.

I had a questionable result on a thermogram, and wanted to make sure there would be no health implications in the future, by following advice from an accredited practitioner. Dr. Monica ran genomics, nutraceutical, and other diagnostic tests that would help my individual health needs. Unlike mainstream medicine, she focuses on the reason or cause, and does not dole out medications: that syncs with my personal health philosophy. She was very good at explaining the results, and setting up a treatment plan. It was all very interesting to me to approach health from this angle, to be able to prevent future illnesses, and work with current issues, while understanding some of my genetic dispositions to health issues, while learning how adopting certain lifestyles, and giving my body the nutraceutical components, can stop negative health happenings for me in the future. I'd much rather prevent than to have to treat an illness. I have sought her out for ongoing issues, and am happy with her care. I would recommend her to anyone who believes in this healthcare philosophy.

We feel so blessed to be able to have Dr. Monica as our pediatrician because she is board certified in pediatrics but also certified in Homeopathy and Integrative medicine. We have always leaned towards Chinese medicine and Naturopathy to take care of our health, but we also respect Western medicine as there are some conditions that really could be helped with that approach, so Dr. Monica is the perfect balance of Holistic and Traditional medicine that we were looking for. Thank you Dr. Monica!

Dr. Kathy Moudy…read more She is our son's doctor - she was also my husband's pediatrician for his whole childhood - and his siblings. The concept of family is so important - I haven't gotten to have that in my life - (I bounced around doctors like crazy) so I really appreciate the trust that comes with time and age and experience. Our son has Erb's Palsy - an injury that affects the Brachial Plexus part of his shoulder and it was because he was stretched at birth and it affected him single handedly from the day he was born. She recommended occupational and physical therapists and is still forward facing even after his 5 years of life. Now he is starting Kindergarten and his shoulder is very useful and is affecting him only mildly when we were scared he was going to have very limited use. We are so grateful for her connections and resources. She let's us ask the questions that make us feel dumb as first time parents and trust me, none of us REALLY know what we are doing. Then there are the wellness visits, and any of us Yelper's with kids know anything - toddlers are crazy unpredictable sometimes and when you go to the doctor's once per year your child is completely different year to year. This year - about a week ago we had our wellness visit and he needed to finish up his school immunizations, discuss everything we had questions about and she did it with grace - all while giving his little Winnie the Pooh Bear the exact same exam to make him feel better. It was glorious - calm and peaceful office, great insurance cooperations and so forth. We are blessed.

When she called, the person on the phone told her that she had to review the list of CDC recommended vaccines that they "required" a baby to have and if there were any on the list that she would not be a good candidate for their care. WHAT???? Isn't the baby's best interests the most important. Not the CDC recommendations? My daughter was in tears and I am very upset at the way she was treated. Having just gone through major surgery, overwhelmed with a new baby being a first time mom and this is how she was treated. No care or concern.. I would never let a doctor or nurse at this clinic near my grandchild. You can't force a parent to vaccinate their child with these unwarranted pharmaceuticals. BEWARE Do not take your children here! THEY HAVE AN AGENDA! And it is not for your child's best interest.
