A great discovery - yet another fantastic cafe recently opened in the neightbourhood. This place is run by a really lovely lady who takes her coffee seriously. The menu of excellent coffee is complemented by bagels and cakes - tried them once and wasn't disappointed. Coffee to go is fast and yet still made properly; they also have different types of presses and filters depending on how you like your coffee. There's just about enough seats to accommodate a fairly busy spot. Impressed to see they have a digital loyalty card system also - first time I've seen that in Brussels. read more

Just run there for the greatest coffee in town ! I take a double xpresso every day of the week - black, just black. Very well balanced ! Came here on a Sunday, hoping to get some breakfast and coffee. Nice interior and even more seating out back. Things kind of went downhill from the moment we stepped in. The inside table we sat at was dirty and full of crumbs so we cleaned it up ourselves. When we ordered, they told us that the coffee machine was broken so no coffee drinks could be made. Our croque madame was supposed to come with coffee included but they only had Lipton black tea as a substitute. That made our order pretty overpriced seeing as the price includes coffee. Around 10 minutes after ordering, someone came over to tell us that they had no more toast and would have to use bagel instead. We said ok, but it wasn't too bad, just unfortunate that they seem to be out of everything we want. Overall, very dissappointing breakfast, slow service. Luckily their bagel is good. They speak little English but communication was slightly difficult. read more

Discovered Bocca Moka yesterday. I really like it. There's a wide choice of coffees and I find the atmosphere quite calm and relaxing. I liked sitting in the window and watching the people passing by on their daily business. It looks like a good place to get some work done. Also appreciate the fact that the music isn't too loud and overpowering. I'll be back. read more

An A-OK cafe! We were walking and using the bike share, and hadn't figured on the topography of Brussels-- turns out there are a lot of hills there! I was hot and exhausted and needed a pit stop to refuel and Bocca Moka was where we ended up. I got a bagel sandwich and we got cold drinks and sat outside. Not quick service, it was more than 20 minutes for my bagel, but we were sitting in the shade, so it was OK. Sandwich was tasty, there was wifi, it was a good pit stop, A-OK with me. read more

I'm so glad I found Kopi in my last week here in Brussels, till I return again. It's a small little coffee shop right next door to Premiere Compture thai restaurant. I had wanted to get a massage at Serendip Spa which a scant .1 miles away, but unfortunately they only had 1 spot available so I gave it to my friend who was visiting and I decided to meander my way to a good coffee spot. Enter Kofi. And incredibly sweet staff is so accommodating, personable and helpful. They are so engaging and friendly and immediately make you feel as though you found a place that you can make "your" coffee place. I highly recommend grabbing your cup of liquid gold and grabbing a stool at the street facing bar. The street in-front is so busy and will provide you hard to compete with people watching. The coffee is really good and flavorful and bold. I basically make the best cold brew in the world--so if I'm going to pay for coffee--it has to be really good, and this place rises to that challenge. A definite place to come. I didn't try the food but they have a great selection that ranges from salads, 14 different Bagel sandwiches--with 6 different bagel flavors, paninis, muffins....6 vegetarian meal options, which a few can easily be made vegan. A good place to check out...and then go feed your people watching creep vibes. ;) read more

What a gem!! This is the perfect place for my studies and the coffee - or the caramel latte at least - is delicious! I love the calm vibe and atmosphere. Also, there is a beautiful outdoor seating area, but it is too cold at the moment. Some tables have plugs nearby so definitely bring your computer for a productive time. Bocca Moka is a coffee house like you want them! Quiet, low key and focused on good quality coffee! The enthusiastic young owner really put a lot of love and effort into creating this cosy spot, ideal for mobile workers and students (wifi!!!). And you can enjoy all this on a terrace under the sun (if you're lucky). read more

This is definitely my favorite place to get a coffee in the area. Nice smiling staff, good choices of coffee, you can ask for whatever your mind fancy in terms of mixes.. last but definitely not least the bagels... omg, their bagels are just delicious! You can choose the type of flavoured bread you wan (tomato, onion, olive, to name but a few). Of course there is a wifi connection, and a nice terrace at the back where you can sunbathe with a good fresh drink. Wide choice of very good coffee. Didn't try the food but the bagels looked delicious. The interior is a bit strange in dark shades and not the usual scandinavian design place but the atmosphere is very calm and nice. The part I like the best is the amazing hidden back terrace/garden with trees and it is very quiet. You could imagine being somewhere out of the city and not at the busy chaussee de charleroi/place stephanie area. Will definitely go back! read more

The shop looked good from the outside. When we arrived it was half full. After inquiring about our order three times, the food arrived in exactly one hour. Nothing was as we asked. The bacon was uncooked. The iced tea was water with frozen berries (no traces of actual tea) and no avocado despite paying extra for the side. The server was completely indifferent and did not offer an apology or to rectify the situation. Happy to leave and never return. read more
