I've owned four homes and worked with countless contractors -- Fred is the best I've ever worked with. He is literally a dream contractor. Fred built us beautiful builtins, redid our kitchen and our bedroom, put in a projector for our media room, ran ethernet cables throughout our walls, solved drainage problems in the basement (simply and quickly!), sub-contracted and managed workers to install HVAC in our house and install new garage doors, put in radiant floor heating, pulled a rotting floating dock out of our pond and rebuilt it, and even put together our outdoor hot tub for us. When workers came to replace our gutters and botched the job he got them to come back and address the issue until the gutters worked perfectly. I've yet to find a job he can't do or find the right sub-contractor for (and then manage them to get the job done). His work is beautiful, and he often has thoughts on better ways to do things than what we thought we wanted. Freds availability to manage work is particularly amazing because his work is on our vacation home where we are not frequently present. I highly recommend Fred. I have never had such a positive experience with a contractor. He is trustworthy. He is an expert in cabinetry, but also is a great designer for all home details. He built us a primary bedroom suite with full bath and laundry room. Remodeled our kitchen and built us a custom enclosure for our stairs. He is an impressive designer and lead us to our perfect home by asking us key design questions along the way. He also helped us decide which areas we could save money and which areas were worth investing in. He keeps deadlines. In order to have our bedroom suite finished in time for the birth of my first child he worked 7 days a week. He has many years of experience and can help with all aspects of home repair. We affectionately referred to him as our "house coach" because he advised us on so many different repairs. We were so lucky to work with Fred, I have never had such a good contractor.
