Unfortunately, I misread my reminder and believed my appointment was at 4:00 PM. I drove over an hour, encountering heavy traffic, construction, and an accident. My GPS showed an ETA of 4:00 PM when I received a call from your office.m at 352 pm,  I was told that if I was not there by 3:45 PM, my appointment would be canceled. I explained I was already enroute &  only 8 minutes away to arrive at 4, but was met with a very dismissive response and told the doctor could not wait a few minutes. As someone in significant pain, I found the lack of compassion & professionalism very disappointing. I followed up with a phone call to the office after 11:00 AM the next day because no one responded to the email I sent regarding how I was treated. During that conversation, I learned that the issue was not actually that the office had closed. While the office manager acknowledged that the practice closes at 4:00 PM despite many online listings showing 5:00 PM, she explained that Dr. Price had personally instructed the staff to call me when she learned I was running late. When she found out I would not arrive on time, she left the office before I got there. The staff then called to ask if I wanted to reschedule. I do not. After this experience, I will not be returning to this office. I will be transferring to another location and would choose a different podiatrist altogether if one were available in my network. Based on my experience, I did not feel valued as a patient, and I believe the Douglasville office lacks concern for the patients it serves.

The precision of his work is truly remarkable. My post-operative X-rays clearly demonstrate the meticulous care and technical excellence he brings to his craft--an image truly worth a thousand words. I genuinely believe this type of surgery is both a science and an art, and Dr. Refai is a master of both. Because I am a small person, he thoughtfully designed and fitted a cage specifically for my smaller anatomy. That level of individualized surgical planning speaks volumes about his expertise, attention to detail, and commitment to achieving the best possible outcome for each patient. Equally impressive is Dr. Refai's outstanding bedside manner. He is kind, patient, reassuring, and truly listens. I went in to check on an issue with my toenail. I have athletes foot and was concerned that there…read moremight be a bigger issue. I asked how much the services would cost while scheduling the appointment and was told that they could not determine it at that time. I still chose to go with them because their availability matched my work schedule. I paid the $50 co-pay and waited to see the doctor. Dr. Langlo removed the the surface layer of the nail and kept a sample to send to the lab. He told me it was a minor surface level fungus and that I was fine but wanted to send in a sample to be safe. A month later I received two bills in the mail. One from the office and the other from the lab both totaling $428.13. I was surprised by the cost and called the billing dept to inquire why I was charged this amount without being told when I asked originally. Before I could complete my question I was cut off by the representative who told me that I have to discuss it with my insurance. I tried to ask why I was charged $175 for an office visit that lasted 30 mins and was cut off again with instructions to talk to my insurance but in a louder tone. Dr. Langlo was kind and professional. His treatment made me feel better about my condition. Receiving the large bill in the mail was surprising but the reason I'm rating this office a 2/5 was because there was no transparency in the billing. Also when I tried to gain clarity I was rudely dismissed by their billing department representative. In summary the medical service was good but just be aware that the transparency isn't there and depending on your insurance a large medical bill can fall onto you without you having any heads up from the health care provider.
