Unfortunately, on the day of my appointment I slept through two alarms because I've been having to take sleeping medication to SLEEP THROUGH my pain, and was told that I could no longer reschedule with the because I was a new patient who missed their first appointment. No "rescheduling fees" nothing. No second chances. They completely dumped me before seeing me because of something that was out of my control. This shows lack of empathy, understanding and caring and I'm thankful I didn't even get the chance to let them touch my mouth. At the end of the day it was my fault for that accident, but at the same time, then not providing any additional options (like paying a reschedule fee) and just flat out dumping me when my mouth is infected is a pretty nasty business practice.

The bad thing is I have a special needs child that I have to take with me. So after he screamed after the 4 th person, they finally called me back. They do not communicate very well!!

The assistants who were "testing" my tooth that was to get the root canal seemed to be learning as…read morethey went. Having had a another root canal before, I was expecting to have the tooth tapped and tested with cold water. But I was stunned when they put scalding water on the tooth but she missed and the water hit my back gum. Then she gave me a rod and asked me to hold it and said she would tap the tooth to run a charge from a battery through the tooth. When I felt the pain I was to drop the rod. That seemed really odd and left me feeling they were very incompetent. The assistants went to get Verhelle and he was very rude ... accusing me of acting like I knew more than he did. No one had explained the process for the electric charge. I walked out without any further work being done on my tooth even though I was charged more than $200. I've talked with several dentists since then who said they have never heard of that procedure and those who have heard of the procedure don't know anyone who practices it.

After the consult he was scheduled for his first root canal. He was given a prescription to take prior to the appt. He took it, arrived to be seen, numbed in the chair ready to go when the "doctor" came in and told him his tooth was to far gone. He paid almost $200 for nothing! He was scheduled to come back 2 weeks later for a root canal on the second tooth. Again the same thing happened. Only he was charged $285!!! AGAIN for NOTHING! This is a hard working young man who support his family by actually doing manual labor. Something that few boys do this day and time.
