The doctor seems competent enough but the office staff is terrible. I had an 815 appointment and…read moredid not get into see the doctor until 915 finally walked out at 9:30 after giving up on seeing a physician. My wife had an appointment and after being reminded twice of it by email, once we got to the office she was told that her physician would have to send another referral. I would certainly look somewhere else for a doctor that has a competent office staff. The office staff was only not apologetic they were actually hostile when questioned about what time an 8:15 appointment actually starts. Life is simply too short to deal with people such as these.

Well just came out from what they called the last checked out., and they fooled me, the "doctor lady" barely checked on my lip. She was more focused on getting me shirt off so she can "checked my whole skin for "signals" . Needless to say when i came out They're charging for the 'check out'. they rip-off me $60. Check out I did not asked for nor came for. Dr Honeydale if you read this, this a very unprofessional way of earning money. That's called stealing. You ethic and values as a professional are on the floor. There goes the value of my $60 rip-off . Hope this helps other patients to prevent the same. se tenia que decir y se dijo

If your into sitting on a hard concrete floor in the hallway outside of Suet 304 for 2.5 hours with…read morean additional half dozen people because 50+ people some standing along the wall are taking up the waiting lobby inside. They must of also have had a 1:50pm appointment. If your into this go for it. I'll never make that mistake again. On top of that non since, Dr Smart Ass got upset because I informed him that the ear problem was taken care of by myself, since I had 3 months 3 weeks 6 days to wait I cleaned my own ears. When I spoke with my primary doctor about the pain and ringing problem, I had also mentioned a problem with swallowing food. Apparently my so called primary doctor did not include having a look at my throat. Dr A.H. refused to check my throat and told me I had to go back to the primary and start the waiting game again. I was given a hearing test for nothing before seeing the Quack, when I finely met the Doctor he had a look at the hearing test result and informed me I had a slight high pitch problem in the right ear and a little wax buildup, he promised Medication to reduce the wax. I was asked to sign out at the desk, I never got the prescription when signing out. when I left the exam area to leave the waiting room lights were all off and I was the last person to leave the office. Don't make the same mistake I did, find another Doctor. If there was a star for (-) zero approval it would have been checked.

If you value your time, find another place. This place is disorganized and the wait is awful…read more Waited close to 1.5 hours to be seen for my scheduled appointment. They don't update you if you have been waiting. Unfortunately, this was the case with others I talked to in the lobby. Their website is unsecured and would not trust filling out any medical forms online. Th Good thing you have options that don't waste your precious time.

I had not been to a dermatologist in 15 years, so I was overdue for a check-up, and already knew…read morethere were some possible skin cancers. After a thorough inspection and 9 biopsies, they discovered 6 skin cancers. Thankfully, all were the more common and least dangerous - still, they needed treatment. Oasis Dermatology Group has multiple locations. I first went to their Weslaco location where my initial examination was done, and biopsies performed. With either location, as you arrive, you need to check in, take a seat in their waiting room, and they will call you when it is your turn. If it's your first visit, be prepared to fill out some standard forms and provide your insurance information. Both locations have multiple doctors and nurses on staff, and some can be seen at both locations. Throughout nine months of examination, consultations, treatment and follow-up, I seldom saw the same doctor more than twice. I was seen by 7 or 8 of their doctoral staff. However, that was never an issue, as I found them all professional, pleasant, skilled, and informed about my case when they entered the room. Everything is well documented in the patient file, so whoever attended me was up-to-date with my particulars. As part of the documentation process, they do take before, during, and after pictures of any lesions. Some of my lesions were treated with a chemotherapy topical cream, and three required surgery. My first visit to the McAllen location was for surgery as it has the best facilities for those procedures. My first surgery was done by Dr. Burningham who also consulted with me in Weslaco about the biopsy results and treatment options. My other two surgeries were done by Dr. Gonzalez-Molina and Dr Sandrock. All three were professional and did a great job. As I write this all three surgeries have healed up and I'm doing well. I appreciated the options offered for my treatment of the skin cancers. The staff did well working with my insurance. This surgery center also offers the very specialized Mohs surgery by Dr. Rick Lin. I believe it's the only one in the RGV that doesm. Mohs surgery removes one microscopic layer at a time to ensure they only remove what has to be removed, and leave minimal scarring. This is essential for people with lesions on their face or sensitive areas. Since it is so time-consuming, requires specialized training and equipment, it is also quite expensive. I am grateful that option is available in the RGV, but equally grateful I did not need it. During my initial exam, they found several additional spots on my arms that were precancerous and treated them with liquid nitrogen (freezing). This treatment is relatively inexpensive and quick. The treated spot usually blisters, then heals. I cannot even tell now where they did it, and the spots are gone. I highly recommend Oasis Dermatology Group. In the RGV, with the fierce sun we have, everyone needs to get a check-up from time to time. This is the place. Don't wait as long as I did. Make an appointment and get checked out.

For these I had to travel to San Antonio to find a qualified surgeon. This clinic has a large number of doctors so the wait time is minimal. They are very good in that department. They are also very good at burning off minor things. I recently had three biopsies on my face. Two of those came back positive for squamous cell cancer. I was scheduled for MOHS surgery. This would be the third time on my nose. The doctor was DR. Choudary. I went in for the surgery. She had to cut twice. The next day I went in for the skin graft. After the graft was sewn on I was told to keep it bandaged and keep Vaseline on it. After three weeks I got the stitches out. They told me to keep it moist and dismissed me. There was no follow up scheduled. The skin graft looks absolutely HORRIBLE! I returned three weeks later because I thought I had an appointment for the second squamous cell. They had no record of the appointment. They got me in for a consult to set up the second surgery. Another Dr. saw me and I asked about my nose. This doctor told me that it is looking like it is supposed to AND that the SCAB will fall off in about one or two more months! I told the doctor that they had no idea how I had been suffering and stressing over how my nose appeared. NO ONE EXPLAINED TO ME HOW THIS WOULD PROGRESS! I was left to believe that I would look this disfigured forever! They did not tell me what to expect after the surgery and they did not tell me when they took out the stitches. In hindsight, they should have a thorough pre conference before doing this surgery. Their scheduling and communication could vastly improve
