Of course, that was the wrong information. I called at my confirmed time and got a "let me see if someone is available". I moved meetings around to be available for this call and I was baffled by the lack of respect. I was able, after some series negotiation to pick up my documents, had a CGA prepare work for CRA. His experience was the same no returned calls, no returned emails. Gail Kaban retained the deposit of $700.00 on a quote of $595.00 never performed the work and then enlisted Jason Peszko, a lawyer to deal with further. The lawyer then presented further billing, and suggested that the account was "dormant".

My 2023 tax return still hasn't been accepted, and when I contacted him for help, he screamed at me, called me a horrible person, and refused to assist. He even threatened to charge me extra just for texting him. Completely unprofessional behavior. I've since found a new accountant who is kind, knowledgeable, and currently working to fix the damage John caused with my previous return. Please save yourself the headache and go elsewhere for your tax needs
