Went here on a recommendation and it's closer to our newly acquired property...We had previously…read morebought rock at Rolleri in Angels Camp before hearing about this place and it was of good quality(Rolleri)...So after getting considerably cheaper prices over the phone from Gene Miller we stopped by...he had road base and drain rock..the road base is basically ground up concrete and the drain rock was of poorer quality in our opinion in comparison to Rolleri..it had many smaller pieces mixed in and was'nt consistent in size like the 3/4" drain rock we had previously purchased... All that said when I went to the office to chat with the older guy in there he was on the phone so I waited patiently for him to conclude his call...after a couple of minutes it was obvious he was just shootin' the sh** with a friend of his or whatever ...did not even acknowledge my presence so we promptly left.It seems(as we've been told) some of the business up there don't take too kindly to the weekend folks. Taking our business back to Rolleri and paying the extra for better service and quality.

An honest updated on my experiences and pros and cons of this company…read morePros: - cheaper than most concrete contractors by about $500-$800. - responds promptly about potential jobs - process was easy and concrete looks pretty good. Cons: - crack developed day 1 and they schmeared cement over the top of it to try and hide it. Was a complete eyesore for me and since has been less visible, only to show the crack they were trying to hide. More cracks have developed since. - they respond acting as if they are willing to help with issues, only to later be put on the back burner and ignored. If there is an issue, you cannot count on them to come out and solve anything. It's obvious they rather not. - some minor crooked lines on the pavers with their stamping. - couple of "wet" stamped spots. - lifted A/C and broke it. Had to get it repaired but luckily no cost to me (or them yet). For the most part, I wish I would've spent more with someone else. I don't want them to come out now, I will handle any issue myself or with another concrete professional.
