More of the rubbery glue they used on the wall. Other professionals also told us they didn't use the right mortar/cement.

Well we hired this company to remove a tree, fix a deck and rebuild our pond/waterfall after it was damaged from a tree falling. After getting their bid, even though it was a little higher than others, we decided to go with them because they seemed like they could handle all the work. We saw they were unlicensed but they seemed to know what they were talking about so we went ahead with them. The tree removal went great. The deck work had a few snags, and they had to re do it a few times, but in the end that came out good. Then came our pond. Long story short....before they "fixed" the pond, it was running fine and the waterfall was working great and there were no leaks. Now that they have been out at least 4-5 times to try and make it right, the end result is a pond that leaks, now won't hold water AND they ruined the skimmer and pump box. We figured after 4-5 times letting them come out to rectify the problem was more than enough. If they knew how to fix it, wouldn't then have by now? We made the mistake of feeling sorry for them when they asked us to pay the almost $4000 for the pond work before we could leak test it. They said they needed the money to pay their workers and they would come back to fix anything if need be. Against our better judgment we paid them on 2/5/22. Here we are in almost April and still don't have a working pond AND have to pay someone to redo it all plus the damage they caused. We tried to reach them last week and they were ignoring us, then they finally got back to us to say that now they think the box is leaking. If the box was leaking why didn't they put that in the original bid or tell us before this? The reason is because it was working fine and they knew that. We all know for sure the box was fine before their work- it was working fine. I have videos of it working even with the tree uprooted in the pond. Now they have ruined the box because they put a bunch of glue type stuff over the skimmer screws to "fix the leak" and now even a new liner would not attach to it. So we are actually way worse off then when this job started and have to pay to repair and replace what they did. They also re did a rock wall along that was storm damaged. The wall looks like a 5 year old put it together and needs to be redone. Cracked rocks, glued in rocks, mortar and cement flaking off. It looks nothing like the part of the wall they were supposed to be trying to match. Mistakes can happen, but it's how you handle them that matters. I own 2 businesses myself and would have NEVER treated a customer like this. After all this happened we were talking to a neighbor who use them for some work and they didn't finish their job either. I wish we knew all this before we hired them. We now have to file a dispute with our credit card company to resolve this. When we asked for a refund they would not even consider it. Then they said if I buy a new box they would install it (but they ruined the box), then she said she won't and that she was just being "nice". AND now a new liner will be needed either way because they used so much glue on the box that the old liner would not even reach the skimmer flap at this point. So bottom line is we are in way worse shape than when they started and now have to pay again to have all the work redone and additional work because of stuff they damaged. If you need a tree taken down they are probably OK for something like that-- but if you need anything more detailed done I would be super careful or look elsewhere.

I'd like to thank Whittington for the work they did on our master bedroom's bathroom remodel. We got 5 bids, three very overpriced franchises out of Sacramento, one local guy who had no references and finally Whittington. They are local out of Twain Harte. Brandy and Tim are a great team. Tim is a Marine veteran with a can do spirit, Brandy has pipefitting and tile skills and seemed knowledgeable on all aspects of the job. Their lead person, Mike was also very good, detail oriented and committed to doing a good job. They are local and hiring local people, giving opportunities to people in the area. I would not hesitate to recommend them to anyone, we have a couple of more big projects and know we will use them again.

Tim Whittington built a deck for us that collapsed and then blamed us. $25,000. We had to hire another contractor to fix the problems. We just won our small claims case against them. They are going to file bankruptcy rather than pay us the $12,500 they owe. Shoddy work. Water seeped into house carpeting. Even the railings were not regulation height. They (Tim and Brandy) strung us along for a year. Now they are in hiding. He is not a licensed contractor. Never has been.

As you can see, it took him almost a half an hour after I even had to text to see if he was still going to make it.

As you can see with the text, I had to text him almost half an hour after he promised to show up at 4:30 p.m. a customer should not have to call or text to see if a business is going to show up. He kept stalling me and texting me saying that he was going to be up in just a few minutes but it was another half an hour and I just decided to tell him to forget it.

My husband and I are currently buying/remodeling our first home and hiring Whittington Professional Services for our first project was a great start! We requested a consultation and the owners Brandy/Tim replied promptly and professionally; providing us with answers to all of our questions and concerns and an estimate we couldn't refuse. With a well-prepared, respectful crew WPS installed our kitchen counters and sink quickly and with high quality. We also appreciated how clean and tidy the owners/crew left our home after completion of the work hired to do. This company definitely took customer service a step further with their dedication and reliability. Thank you WPS for providing us with such exquisite work!

grout mess on wall all around, not cleaned

Review photos of their work. The work took almost a month. The work started on 3/7/22. As of today, 3/28/22, work is still not completed. However, the owner of Whittington Professional services, Brandy Whittington, is insisting that the work is done. On 3/26/22, at our final walk through, all damages and messy work was mentioned, but not resolution. Beware of this company, if you do choose to work with WPS, you will need to keep all of the estimates, because they tried to charge me for hauling the garbage, that was included, in their bid. They also left my entry door open on 2 occasions, allowing potential theft. There was a lot of miscommunication, I had to remind them about certain things that were not addressed, and still not taken care of

You can see the neighbors over growth and how clean our side it. This was a couple weeks late on the photo too

Casey made the work appear professional at first, but during the very first storm after installation, the skylight leaked so badly that water was pouring into the house. The situation was severe enough that our paying guests stated the home was unusable and checked out early because of the amount of water coming in. We immediately sent a licensed roofer to inspect the work. The roofer took photos and confirmed the skylight was installed incorrectly and not properly sealed at all. Basic, standard waterproofing steps were skipped entirely. This was not a materials issue. It was poor workmanship. We contacted Casey multiple times with the documentation and the urgency of the situation. He did not respond, did not offer to fix the problem, and took zero responsibility. He simply avoided us. No follow up. No accountability. Completely unprofessional behavior. This caused us lost rental income, additional repair costs, and unnecessary stress. Between the failed installation and the way he disappeared afterward, this felt like dealing with a rookie amateur rather than a professional contractor. Based on our experience, do not use Casey from CB Home. We are including photos of the installation to document the quality of his work.

He helped correct issues from past work and was able to make our roof and facia boards look seamless. First floor was rotten with mold by the time we got to get in and see it. After searching for licensed GC, we finally found Scott and Mary of Craftsman Home Improvements. After contacting via yelp, Scott promptly came out and assessed all of the damages once water & mold mitigation was done and quickly helped us pull together a rebuild plan for our first floor. Mary was instrumental in helping visualize different plans, finishes, cost breakdowns, and insurance estimates. Scott was dedicated beyond our expectations. Quick to collaborate with us and develop the project with us, not for us. Drywall & Texture: Was the drywall install super tight and accurate, with invisible joints, yes. Was the skip trowel finish immaculate and thoughtfully executed, yes. New Bath: Was the entire new bath installation customized to fit odd dimensions, yes, new shower install, beautiful, new fan setup, wonderful. New Floors/Moldings: How about the new floors? Was the subfloor floated to level out a horrible shift, absolutely. Was the laminate install done with every attention to detail, yes. Were we consulted about wood directions/aesthetics, etc along the way, yes. Was the fitting of baseboards immaculate, you bet. New Doors/Windows: How about those new doors and windows? Beautiful joining work for the framing, yes. Doors all perfectly balanced, absolutely. Windows sealed up tight, air tight. Scott had to address every old frame to bring into a standard and the work was amazing. New Stairs: Each new wood riser and stair was a custom cut. These are now a showcase to the house. Custom Closets: Each closet on the first floor was a custom designed space made from pine. Scott was able to build out exactly what we needed. Working with Scott and Mary was seamless. Scott has a great sense of humor and Mary was so helpful in finding/sourcing materials for us. We are looking forward to a deck job with them in the future.

Mary I can only put so many words in. let me say this , I…read moretold Scott about the texture the day he said finish. I then contacted Scott within a week to let him know there is no texture in places on ceiling. and it didn't match. Scott did come look at it. I didn't wait 9 mo. to notify Scott of the issues. Scott knew this from the very day he painted the ceiling. If he don't tell you what's happening that is not our fault. You-say contract doesn't have insulation in it. I have your quote and contract that says otherwise. Your contract says guarantee work for a year. Our home has been in disarray for 9 months. And you didn't come in till March. We are having a General come give an estimate on ceiling. For texture knock down, paint. If in fact the job was done correctly why would you Mary sign a check made out to Randall? it's because Scott can't do the texture nor does he want to try. He told Randall he don't do much texture work. I let Scott know he can buy a texture spray machine for 70-80 bucks from Lowe's. Which you would think any general contractor would have one since they advertise drywall..and been in business 20 years. The can of texture he bought I believe 3-4 cans of them would have paid for texture sprayer. Now that addressed downstairs. Let's address upstairs. In the kitchen. We didn't remove any more cabinets from where the water damage was. they were removed before Scott came and looked at job. His helper Brian cut multiple sheets of subfloor to wrong size. Instead of Scott going and doing the cut he had him ( Brian ) cut again. and it was still wrong. There was a 1/8 inch lip on the subfloor that Scott and Brian put in. Randall had to fix this before flooring went down. Once he removed the subfloor he found why it had a lip . The debris from putting in the floor was left underneath the place they removed and replaced. It was a good thing the mess was left. Randall found that the blocks that attracted to joists were not connected on both sides. he had to repair the incomplete structure. Randall also found there was no insulation put back in the walls. The exterior walls get insulated. Then of course we can move on to the drywall/Sheetrock where that was not measured properly so it was short. once again Scott let Brian do the cutting. We just really thought you would care about the workmanship done in clients home. Us the client.. I'm sure that 1/2 inch space between each Sheetrock that leaves an opening is not done correctly. The pictures I posted was only of the work Scott and Brian did in kitchen. That took one man 8 hours to complete and do job correctly. And you will be back charged for the T&M (Time and Materials.) After seeing the work being done is another reason we decided not to have any further work done by your company, and had to change contract. If you remember you gave us a bid for the removal of rock in front room. And there was removal of flooring and we were going to have Scott install cabinets. As you put on the bill that install sink garbage disposal dishwasher. None of that work was done the drywall was never textured in the kitchen. So please tell me how you would consider this job completed. We did pay for all this. So where is the money for a job not completed. I will attach the contract to this in a bit. Along with the payments made to you. I'm not telling half the Story Mary, Maybe it's the one who works under your wing. Best Kim
