There are some months we were too busy for lessons, but we always start back as if no time has passed. Debbie is amazing at what she does and allows my daughter the freedom to test her abilities. She's patient, attentive, and works so well with anyone. She takes great care of her horses and Zia ranch. It's always so clean and well kept. The first day of our lesson, no one greeted us. We had to enter the supply store and ask where to go meet our teacher. Another time, I couldn't get ahold of anyone to let them know we would have to miss a lesson and reschedule. Rarely was the phone ever answered and communicating via text was also unreliable and delayed. Thankfully, I was able to get a refund for a month worth of riding lessons. I would honestly take your money elsewhere if looking for riding lessons. It's not cheap and there has to be a better alternative in the area.

She creates a barn atmosphere that is hard working and efficient, and makes learning fun. This is the most enjoyment I have had with horses in more than 10 years, and it is so rewarding to see how well my horses are doing. I am now taking lessons and am enjoying refreshing my riding skills as well. Whether the lesson is on one of Legacy Farms' well trained horses or on my own, it is really nice to test what I can do and feel myself riding correctly again. Quiet, beautiful barn with lots of grass pastures for turnouts, covered arena with great footing…read moreand terrific care for the horses! The facilities are well maintained and clean. The stalls are large and airy with large paddocks. It's a smaller barn so the arenas are never crowded (and usually not in use at all when I visit on the weekends). The horses are fed hay three times a day. Having turnouts is a priority for me and I don't think you'll find another barn in the area with more grass turnouts. Karen (owner) and Tim (caretaker) are great people and really love all the horses. I've boarded at Diamond K Ranch for over 2 years and my horse could not be happier!
