CAN I DO LESS THAN A 1 STAR?! I agree with everything Robert B says about this place. I used to also be a boarder here. THE ONLY THING I WANT TO CLARIFY FROM ROBERT B'S REVIEW IS THE CHEATING! THE CHEATING WAS SOLELY ON THE OWNER, JIM, AND ALSO TAMI. IT WAS NEVER ON THE PERSON THAT RAN MOST OF THE SHOWS, TRACY. Tracy is a wonderful person and due to her cutting ties w Cedar Creek, I truly believe they will no longer have any turn out for their Gymkhana shows. I know all my friends and fellow horseriders will never go there! It was a wonderful place to board until Jim gave 'manager' position to Tami. It used to be a great place to board. Very laid back, everyone got along, everyone was always helping each other, very little to no drama. There was 1 issue before Tami took over that as far as I know still remains. Her name is Barbara, she is the stall cleaner and has no business being around horses. Some people think she is a major drug user and the way she acts, I would be inclined to believe that as well! She is very very rude, has been known to threaten boarders, thinks she's above all the rules out there. Especially the rule about dogs must be on leash at all times. While I was there, her dogs were always off leash, trapping people in their cars when they drove up, barking, lounging and chasing horses while horses were in the stalls. She had been told many times her dogs must be on leash at all times but she never listened. I truly think if someone upset her or Tami enough, that they would truly hurt someone. The only way you can stay a boarder there is if you never question Tami or Jim on anything and always stay friends w Tami even if u hate her. She will kick u out just cause she doesn't like you. The lies Tami made up about a lot of people out there caused a lot of problems with boarders trusting each other. All these lies were made up so she could get those people kicked out and her daughter could be the 'star' of the ranch. Like Robert B said, if u love your horse, stay away from Cedar Creek! Also if u want to make sure u have a long term place for your horse, where you won't get kicked out for nothing, stay away as well! So. Having read the other reviews on this barn it makes it seem like it is almost heaven.... Sadly, I'm going to have to disagree.... And here's why. The barn manager Tammy....is an undiagnosed narcissistic pathologically lying sociopath... Every time I came to this barn to work my horse my gf and I both had to endure an earful of drama involving her and percieved slights upon her by boarders trainers and the like. Because of course the world revolves around Tammy. The encounters we're so numerous that any one specific event is hard to mention so I'll go ahead and speak some more about the boarding facilities. The hay they feed is full of things like metal wire...Pepsi cans....and dead rats. And they feed 2 flakes of this mess a day. Which caused my gf's horse to lose close to 300lbs. In the time we boarded there. The facilitiy elects NOT to off haul manure! In fact as you pass cedar Creek stables on the main road you can see that the grade of the facility has been raised 4' artificially with HORSE MANURE! This causes the flys to be a horrible nuisance.... Indeed it was so bad for some of the other boarders that use to be there that they brought in predator flys....which didn't even make a dent. They have NO standard was rack. You basically stand in a small lake as you bath your horse. The footing in the outdoor arena is close to 6" too deep. If you want a vet bill then you should definitely turn your horse out in it. This barn just had another MASS EXODUS....due primarily to the lunatic antics of the barn manager. In this exodus 15 horses left......so who knows maybe by the time you read this review....there won't be a business left to speak of. But if for some reason cedar Creek survives...do yourself and your horse a favor and DO NOT BOARD HERE. 8-13-18 After having left this facility and posted negative reviews of this facility on Yelp Google and Facebook...I Tammy the barn managers sister began a series of verbal attacks in the comments section on the cedar Creek facebook page. This is Randi and no the other reviews are not from me nor anyone I know. It's pretty damn sad that this whole yelp thing is turning into who can bash who's name! My horse was not skinny at anytime he was there, he always got taken care of and he was not part of the riding school. He did maybe 1 lesson a day if that and still does. My board was always paid. Unlike Tami and Dave, I did a lot out there helping out and never asked for money off my rent! Megan's horses were skinny while at Cedar Creek, however, it's amazing that less than a few weeks after leaving, her horses look wonderful with weight on them! So that was definitely Cedar Creek! Also, the moldy hay was Cedar Creek ( have proof of that), everything that has been said on here about Jim and Tami is 100% true. The only thing that hasn't been mentioned about them is something that will come out in time. All that Jim and Tami care about is making sure their pockets are full, nothing else.I am going to agree w Jane and say that Tracy was not involved in the cheating. That was Jim and Tami only! Trust me, many people will tell you to stay away from here cause of the lack of care for horses and the people that board there! If you want to know the real reasons that everyone has been kicked out, you are more than welcome to contact me and other people I know that aren't even associated with this so called ranch and they will tell you the bs reasons people have been booted for. read more

I am a recently newer boarder. I must say I did have a very postive, welcoming greeting, and helpful, former manager Tammy. My horse, came up with a abcess as soon as we moved in. She was the first to USE her own products to assist with it all, as I didn't have any products on me as of yet. She soaked his foot, wrapped his foot for me, because I work.... and KIND ONCE again.... to lend me HER bute, at will. Since, all of this Cedar Creek has had many changes, it is now under new management, lower prices to refelect the nesscary repairs needed. Cedar Creek is owned by a older gentlman, who can only do so much, any may not get to the repairs, So the manager lowered the fees for boarders, and provided NEW hay. It has been a postive expierence for me and I would recommend anyone to give it a GO! read more

Not recommended at all! Had my horses here and they were not fed well and always dirty water. Way too much drama and accusations made to boarders that are huge lies. Sad, especially when people tried to be so helpful! Happy to be out of there and my horses are doing amazing now! read more

My daughter loves to come here and ride the horses. Everyone is always so nice and it's very close to everything. Only takes me a few minutes to get there. The barn manager is very friendly and always lets my daughter play with the goat and pony. read more
