The manager at that time was decent guy and refunded us $1700 for the incident and the amount that was over the original quote. Decided to try them again a few years later. They will quote you a low price upfront and tell you it won't go over that amount and then end up charging you $1,000 min. over the original quote. Workers will damage your items and take no accountability and they expect you to have photo evidence of them damaging the items when it happens. If they tell you a price it will never be what they quote.

I will be brief unless of course they attempt to discredit the facts. Let me first say, the guys doing the packing, loading, and unloading were fantastic - great guys - this is a management issue. We moved out of our house in Clearwater, FL in June of 2025 and stored most of our belongings with Reliable (now MVM) for 10 months (around $800/month). I gave them 4-6 weeks notice to deliver our belongings to Indiana this March. Toward the end of unloading, we realized they were missing around 25% of the items. Obviously upset, I was looking for answers. No one had any idea where they were. After explaining I would short pay the bill, the Indiana manager said that was not acceptable and I would be paying the full bill. I got further upset and he ended up sending me a text message suggesting he didn't appreciate my profanity....wow. The manager in Florida suggested his quote video didn't show the items I was suggesting were missing and maybe I was being forgetful. You can imagine how those two interactions went over with me. To his credit, the Florida manager called me the next day saying he found our missing items. Another guy from "corporate" called me the following Monday saying they would deliver the remaining items in about three weeks. I was not happy telling him that is not how you run a business - we didn't have towels and bedding for example. He didn't care and said that was the best they could do. A good business would have changed their schedule and delivered our missing items in short order - not this company. They came two days ago with one guy (really good guy) who couldn't carry a large chair by himself to the second floor, so I had to help. AND we are still missing some items with zero restitution. Now, admittedly I did short pay the first bill, but it doesn't account for the financial losses and our complete frustration we endured. No communication with anyone in management to the close the loop, so we are cutting our losses and moving on. Lastly, Manager Will I heard your message to the driver of deliver the items and "get out of there" as if I am the bad guy for being upset....wow. Very unprofessional company who deserves their comeuppance. I am not a fan of social media with the exception that the companies now have a much harder time hiding poor service.
