I hired MVM for a 2-1/2 hour away move -- coming from a 2-story apartment complex townhouse, going into a condo. Devlin and Christian were friendly, productive and professional and went the extra mile on a number of things. (For example, Devlin carried my full cat litter box down the stairs and Christian tried to remove my computer monitor stand to pack it.) I had a pretty big move, but they kept at it with good spirits and got me into my new place by 4. I've used several different moving companies in the past 10 years, and MVM was my best experience. They charge by the hour (not by weight or space), so I was glad they were mindful about time. They demonstrated care for my things. I would definitely recommend this company. read more

We hired MVM Moving & Storage to move our 2-story home based on a quote for two trucks, three movers, and 6 hours of labor. On moving day, only one truck arrived, creating major space and efficiency issues. The crew worked slowly, overused plastic wrap, packed the truck carelessly, and several items were damaged during the move. Because one truck wasn't enough, my husband and I had to make five additional trips across town ourselves. The move took over 8 hours, and during delivery the driver allegedly damaged our brand-new driveway while backing in. Boxes were also unloaded without regard to room labels, creating additional frustration. After nearly two weeks of trying to resolve the issues, MVM denied responsibility for the damages and failed to provide a satisfactory solution. While the company claims it conducted an internal review, we feel it has refused to take accountability for the actions of its crew. Overall, our experience was marked by poor preparation, property damage, damaged belongings, and a lack of customer service. Based on our experience, we cannot recommend MVM Moving & Storage and encourage others to carefully research their options before hiring them. read more

I would not recommend this company to anyone. We used them twice. Our first move the worker cut his foot and bled all over our house causing us major issues with the new homeowners. The manager at that time was decent guy and refunded us $1700 for the incident and the amount that was over the original quote. Decided to try them again a few years later. They will quote you a low price upfront and tell you it won't go over that amount and then end up charging you $1,000 min. over the original quote. Workers will damage your items and take no accountability and they expect you to have photo evidence of them damaging the items when it happens. If they tell you a price it will never be what they quote. read more

Horrible experience. After around 10 professional moves throughout my life and career, this was by far the worst experience. I will be brief unless of course they attempt to discredit the facts. Let me first say, the guys doing the packing, loading, and unloading were fantastic - great guys - this is a management issue. We moved out of our house in Clearwater, FL in June of 2025 and stored most of our belongings with Reliable (now MVM) for 10 months (around $800/month). I gave them 4-6 weeks notice to deliver our belongings to Indiana this March. Toward the end of unloading, we realized they were missing around 25% of the items. Obviously upset, I was looking for answers. No one had any idea where they were. After explaining I would short pay the bill, the Indiana manager said that was not acceptable and I would be paying the full bill. I got further upset and he ended up sending me a text message suggesting he didn't appreciate my profanity....wow. The manager in Florida suggested his quote video didn't show the items I was suggesting were missing and maybe I was being forgetful. You can imagine how those two interactions went over with me. To his credit, the Florida manager called me the next day saying he found our missing items. Another guy from "corporate" called me the following Monday saying they would deliver the remaining items in about three weeks. I was not happy telling him that is not how you run a business - we didn't have towels and bedding for example. He didn't care and said that was the best they could do. A good business would have changed their schedule and delivered our missing items in short order - not this company. They came two days ago with one guy (really good guy) who couldn't carry a large chair by himself to the second floor, so I had to help. AND we are still missing some items with zero restitution. Now, admittedly I did short pay the first bill, but it doesn't account for the financial losses and our complete frustration we endured. No communication with anyone in management to the close the loop, so we are cutting our losses and moving on. Lastly, Manager Will I heard your message to the driver of deliver the items and "get out of there" as if I am the bad guy for being upset....wow. Very unprofessional company who deserves their comeuppance. I am not a fan of social media with the exception that the companies now have a much harder time hiding poor service. We called MVM to help unload the contents of our Penske rental truck into our new home this month. We set up the appointment from out of state, and they were there, as promised. Isaiah and Anthony were so helpful, careful, strong, and speedy. They knew just how to handle the items. We had a couple of bulky items that needed to be put upstairs, including a heavy dresser I was particularly nervous about. They were so careful with it, and there's not a scratch on it or any wall/doorways/stairway. They were very friendly and were done in about a half hour. We were more than happy with their service, and we tipped them well. I highly recommend them. read more

I originally used a different MVM location for a short-distance move and was pleased with the results. I decided to go with Fort Wayne MVM for a long-distance moved based on reviews and that previous experience. First of all, Noah was a pleasure with which to work. Due to circumstances beyond my control, I had to make several changes to the dates and services needed before the move. Noah handled everything with a great attitude and efficiency. He was easy to get a hold of and always responded promptly. I knew my move was in safe hands. James and Sean did a great job carefully packing and loading up the house. Sean is a rock star! I could not be present during the move or unload, so had to trust that everything would go smoothly with a different family member present. I heard great things about Sean from both family members. The storage unit ended up being a tight squeeze, Sean had to "defy physics" to make sure everything could fit. He went the "extra mile". The price was on-track, less than I would have spend with national movers. I don't usually write reviews for anything, but I thought this one was warranted. Moving is stressful. This company was called due to the high ratings AND a horrible experience with the movers we used a few months ago. These 3 guys did not disappoint. They were friendly, productive, professional. Our VERY FRAGILE PIECES were well wrapped. I could overhear them moving things down multiple staircases and they were very conscientious and careful with the items as far as bumping. They assessed doorways etc. before just grabbing things. And another great thing, they have no minimum time requirement. We HIGHLY recommend these guys: Israel, Evan & Oscar. From beginning to end, the company was responsive, efficient and had my best interests in mind. I cancelled our first appointment when we thought we could do it ourselves. And when I called back to try to schedule again, they fit us in 2 days later! Cody and two others (Oscar and Jose I think but I read too many reviews with different names, SORRY) took care of our apartment and had to traverse 2 giant flights of stairs at least 30 times to move us out of our apartment and into our home across town. read more
