On moving day, only one truck arrived, creating major space and efficiency issues. The crew worked slowly, overused plastic wrap, packed the truck carelessly, and several items were damaged during the move. Because one truck wasn't enough, my husband and I had to make five additional trips across town ourselves. The move took over 8 hours, and during delivery the driver allegedly damaged our brand-new driveway while backing in. Boxes were also unloaded without regard to room labels, creating additional frustration. After nearly two weeks of trying to resolve the issues, MVM denied responsibility for the damages and failed to provide a satisfactory solution. While the company claims it conducted an internal review, we feel it has refused to take accountability for the actions of its crew. Overall, our experience was marked by poor preparation, property damage, damaged belongings, and a lack of customer service. Based on our experience, we cannot recommend MVM Moving & Storage and encourage others to carefully research their options before hiring them.

They will quote you a low price upfront and tell you it won't go over that amount and then end up charging you $1,000 min. over the original quote. Workers will damage your items and take no accountability and they expect you to have photo evidence of them damaging the items when it happens. If they tell you a price it will never be what they quote.

One company even bid three moving men for this trip. I clearly understand when families move their entire home and all belongings, one may need more movers and time for this process. This furniture had no sentimental value and was not worth $1,200; I simply wanted to utilize something I already had as I do not like to shop. TJ's Services arrived for the pickup and delivered on time. They were very courteous and did a very nice job. I would not hesitate to contact them again if I had any other moving needs.
