After seeing all their reviews, I had very high expectations for Kraus, and they did not fail too meet them. Arrived there to drop off my car and they made the whole process very quick and easy, and also made sure I had a ride to enterprise rental car in a timely manner. As for the body work done on my car, it looks better than before the accident. When picking my car up today they asked me if i wanted to keep the headlight that was replaced, which was a small gesture but definitely earned some points in this review. Overall, a great "Semi-family" owned body shop that I will come back to if I needed any more work done on my car. read more

Great place if you're a student!!!! I was rear-ended and the girl who hit me was also in college and wanted to pay out of pocket. They were super understanding of this and gave me a great rate. For reference, I got an estimate from a different place and was told it would be over 3k, and they fixed it for 1.2k. All my interactions with them were great and they were super flexible with times. They let me drop my car off late and had it ready early for me because I had to go to work. They also cleaned my entire car for me so it looked brand new when I picked it up. I did have to wait a month for them to have an opening but it was SO worth it!!!!! read more

Worst service ever his mechanic went to jail is what he said after having my vehicle for 2 weeks and told me he could not work on it anymore. I would call and try to get price quote or a time frame and he said it would be ready soon. Purchased a 2012 Ford Escape. The day I left the lot the check engine light came on before we got 25 miles away. Also the air conditioner was not working. I took the car back to them and they turned the light off. THEY DID NOT FIX THE ISSUE. The car has a faulty ignition lock column and has gotten me stuck where it would not start more times than I can count. The last time i took the car back on a tow truck because it would not start and of course the check engine light is and was still on. I left it with them for over three weeks while I still paid for it. Again they said they fixed it, and I was on the way home stopped to get gas and the car would not start. At the time I was a high risk pregnancy so I had to stop driving the car because it kept getting me stuck, and causing too much stress, on me and my unborn child. Without air the last time I drove it to my doctor's appointment and I got stuck and I got over-heated and sick. I took the car back to them five more times. Manny the mechanic said he fixed the issue or he could not find anything wrong and turned the check engine light off again. I drove off the lot and again every single time, the check engine light immediately came back on. The car still has the faulty ignition module. Took it to the ford it has a faulty ignition, a bad a/c clutch and a leaking head gasket. They literally sold me junk. To this day the check engine light is still on and the car cannot be registered and with the leaking head gasket is not even safe to drive. The customer service is awful. The owner does not respond. Lee said I can help you and then said "F- You" Avoid this place, they are horrible, their business practices are unmoral, and deceptive. Last year my son (TAMU student) wrecked his truck in college station. There was extensive front end damage and he didn't have collision insurance. Okay well, last week, I had got in an accident with another vehicle (which happened to be my fault) and I ripped my whole front bumper of my 2008 jeep grand Cherokee off, and along with that I put a huge dent on the side of my car. When I showed up at Krause's, I explained to the owner the urgency of getting it fixed before my dad saw and before I left for Mexico in a few short days. They were very quick to assure me that everything was going to be okay and I was shocked that the price to fix the bumper AND the dent would only be $1,110 versus my first estimate at a different car shop that was $1,400 just to replace the bumper, plus another $750 to fix the dent in the side of my car. But not only that, I dropped my car off on a Monday, and was shocked when I got the call that it was complete wednesday afternoon. When I got my car back, it honestly looked brand new, and not only that, they went out of their way to vaccum the carpet in my car, along with what looked like gave me a car wash. In all honesty, I'm a 21 year old college student and don't really know much about cars or the time/effort it takes to fix things such as this so I've never really left reviews for work I've had done, but I can't even express how thankful & pleased I am with the work that Krause's completed on my car.
