I went back in to get it taken care of and Dr. Sessions was huffy, rude, and impatient with me the whole time. I have extreme dentist anxiety and I told him such, but received no form of kindness or relief. I went back hesitantly six months later to get a cleaning, hoping for better service. I did not even get Dr. Sessions, but I got his partner, Dr. Michael Park. I informed him also about my anxiety. This one told me that I needed all kinds of dental procedures including gum grafts, root canals, and new dental equipment costing hundreds of dollars. This was all before my cleaning. I got my cleaning from a very unsteady (but kind) hygienist and then was informed that Dr. Park was nowhere to be found to take a look at my x-rays. He had gone to lunch and left me in the chair, waiting for a synopsis on x-rays I can barely afford to pay for. I am EXTREMELY UPSET with this organization and I am more terrified than ever of dental practice now. DO NOT GO HERE AS A NEW PATIENT.

These people here were very friendly from the lady at the desk, the assistant and the doctor himself. He was very informative throughout the whole procedure. They made sure to make me as comfortable as possible and I tell you, I had absolutely no pain during the procedure, even the shot to numb the tooth didn't hurt. It took less than an hour and I was walking out of the office with still no pain. They prescribed me antibiotics and pain medication but honestly it is now 8 hours later and still no pain. I am absolutely impressed with this place and would recommend anyone needing a root canal to go here.

This is a review of Dr. Ciaran Finbar Murphy, possibly the worst dentist I have ever been to. Don't…read moremisunderstand, though. His dental ability is not bad. It's who he is and how he treats certain patients that made me leave him. Well, that, and the fact that he thought I had acted inappropriately with his wife. I had met her for the first time on the day before my last appointment. She told me that she and "the girls" appreciated me, mainly, I suppose, because I always tried to bring a little treat of some sort with me. I stood from my seat and said "Thank you, Ellie. I appreciate y'all, too". Which was true. I've always tried to treat others as I would like to be treated. As I said that, I stood next to her and gave her a sideways hug in the middle of their waiting room. Period. That was my only interaction with her. I ramble on about that meeting because during my last dental visit, Dr. Murphy laid me back in the dental chair, made himself comfortable, and proceeded to calmly run his drill back and forth along the exposed roots of an upper tooth. He told me he had a little work he wanted to do on a tooth, and I had no reason to suspect otherwise. When he was through with his grinding on my tooth, I was ready to go. I knew something wasn't right, but I didn't know what. I stood up and confronted him (not angrily, because I didn't know what he had done at that time), saying that "the last time a dentist did that, I lost a tooth, which was true. That was when I was 15, though, and dentistry has come a long way. Not with Murphy, though. He said something about "his wife" which I didn't understand. I just left. When the anesthesia wore off, I discovered the mischief he had been up to. That tooth HURT! And it continued to hurt/ache for months and months. I had found another dentist by then, who told me that he "couldn't see anything". Murphy had not killed the tooth or left any visible evidence, making me wonder if he hadn't done this before. I don't know about that. All I know for sure is that this is really not the work of a sane man. To fabricate such a thing in his mind, then act on that fabrication, is just not right. You can be the judge. Just be aware that anything you might do or say could let the monster out, for you to pay the price.

Edit: after reading the many many other negative reviews I will also say I experience predatory…read morebehavior as after my first cleaning the doctor recommended I get a crown which I thought was intense as I stay on schedule with leanings and such. It was a very expensive procedure and I am seeing a lot of other reviews saying how often patients are being told they need these extremely expensive procedures with little to no reasoning. I have been a patient for about 3 years, and recently things have gone extremely down hill. I would not recommend coming here. The front desk scheduling staff is incredibly difficult to work with - I am constantly met with confusing, rude, and apathetic interactions. I have struggled with TMJ my whole life, and per recommendation from Dr. Nassar I made the costly investment for Invisalign treatment. I felt during the initial discussion my questions weren't answered with assurance so I followed up and was able to meet with Dr. Nassar again who gave wishy-washy answers to my questions again. But after being in pain my whole life I decided to move forward with the treatment. The hygienist showed me the little fasteners that we're going to go on my teeth and on the model they were in the molars, and it was never explained to me that they would be on my front teeth. Surprise! Within the first week three of my fasteners fell off (I'm sure they're gonna say this is standard) and when I went back to get them on they're not even putting the other one back on because it's on a crown, and they couldn't clearly answer my question of what that means for my treatment if that fastener isn't there. Dr Nassar also had to file in between my teeth and now where it has been filed is a food pocket and extremely sensitive and upset gum. When I went back to get the fasteners on again and have them look at the issue with my gums the doctor didn't even come to see me or check on my gums. Ultimately I don't know what's going on in the office but it seems there is just constant miscommunication between Doctor and staff and between staff and schedulers, I am constantly being asked questions that should have clear answers if they just look in my chart or appointment notes. I cannot wait to be done with Invisalign so I can leave this practice.

While the whole office was warm and welcoming, my dental hygienist- Destanie went above and beyond. From visually showing me the issues found in the photos to thoroughly explaining the needed procedure and process, to keeping me 100% pain free and comfortable...I can honestly say that this dentist experience was a pleasant one from start to finish! The front office staff even helped write out all the details so I could try to find the best insurance option coverage for what I needed. Overall my visits included some the best and most authentic customer service that I have ever experienced- honestly cant say enough positive things about this office and Destanie - I highly recommend it!!!

Additionally in December we received a bill from their office for services dating back to 2022. We were sent a bill shortly before Christmas for almost $800. I called their office made a payment for half of the amount in January, and let them know I would call back in February to make the remaining payment. The individual I spoke with at the time said they would make a note on the account. Since then I have received a harassing phone call and a letter threatening my credit if I didn't immediately make a payment. It is quite obvious their office staff is incompetent: not billing insurance in a timely manner, sending a large bill from a services rendered during the past three years, expecting immediate payment and even after the patient called to arrange payment they are still incapable of making appropriate annotations. We've since moved to another dentist's office.

They also said they would bill the secondary insurance but they never did. If you are fortunate to have insurance, please beware it does not go smoothly. They also upsell some "antibiotic rinse" that is above and beyond the normal antibiotic rinse and then say that the insurance company won't cover it. Can we all say "up sell"? I am so sick of being taken advantage of and upselling in every industry! Just give us what we need and stop trying to pad your profits on a contact basis!!!!! Absolutely thumbs down! (I never write reviews, so the fact that I'm writing this says a lot, if you ask me.)…read more I absolutely cannot say enough positive things about the wonderful work Dr. Nicole Holmes, Dr. Dan Holmes, Savannah, and the entire front office team does. (The other staff is wonderful, too, I just haven't interacted with them as much.) I had to get crowns throughout my entire mouth (long story), and they nailed it!!! They were so sensitive to my anxiety issues, and Dr. Nicole's technique in giving shots (for numbing) is unrivaled! They even re-did a few teeth that I wanted to look a little different. They were completely understanding and accommodating about my request to have these re-done, even though they had to take out a few permanent crowns they had already put in!! Since they have STATE OF THE ART equipment, they were able to remove these easily. Honestly, it was amazing! Seriously, if you're looking for a dentist, go here. (Oh and they were SO helpful with the financial stuff! They offered unique payment plans in addition to the regular care credit plans you see other places. They are wonderful!!!)
