Really wanted to try this pizza because of the reviews and the photos I have been seeing flying by. It's a little pricey and has tremendous toppings. We ordered a large with Classic Pepperoni, Sweet Onions, Feta Cheese, Fresh Basil, Banana Pepper's. Came to $26 and was a very good pizza. Highly Recommend!! they launched Wings-N-Wedges and the wings with ALL these incredible sauces are so good!! Just look at the pics! The wedges are incredible. Best wedges I have ever tasted. He uses just enough spice on them. Steve, the owner is great to work with and is definitely passionate and innovative. Everything is made from scratch. I just learned that he airfrys the wings so there is a lot less fat but still tasty as hell! The oatmeal raisin and chocolate chip cookies melt in your mouth. I had the vegetarian pizza and it was one of the best I have eaten and I am considered a pizza critic. The fresh roasted peppers and spinach with the minced garlic is aromatic and tasty. We ordered from Krave Pizzeria for the first time last night. We decided to order a small Margherita hand tossed and a small Ultimate Veggie deep dish, so we could sample both types of crusts. The Margherita was full of flavor and we really liked the crust, very good. The sauce was good but just a tad bland, nothing some hot pepper flakes won't fix. The deep dish was delicious, loads of veggies and good dollops of sauce. This is a place we'll definitely add to our pizza rotation. I do wish they provided menus with the carryout orders, it really helps to see photos of the different pizzas and dishes before ordering. read more

Finally made it to this place and well worth the drive to Clarkston. We got the bbq chicken pizza, antipasto salad and breadsticks with amazing garlic dip. All were very good. Great salads... barely ok pizza. Gave 3 chances. Too thick, not done enough even asking for well done. I thought a simple C&P well done would do the trick but nope. I think they have the cheap belt ovens like little Cesar's that don't get hot enough and they use too much dough for a regular pizza. Go there for salads all day long and the staff is super nice too. Sadly, I have to eat gluten free lifestyle . And of course I love pizza. I've been wanting to try Krave for a long time, but they are pricier than some of their competitors. I finally gave them a shot because I was jonesing for pizza. Pros- Krave offers a Large GF pizza, which I'm not aware any other pizza place does. Why not? "Gluten-free people" still need to eat and love our large pizzas! Toppings where pretty good, but not exceptional; they were just kind of missing a robust flavor, but maybe I can tweak the order next time. (I ordered mushrooms and sausage) not horrible or anything just missing something. Con- the GF crust was a little cardboard like, so hoping they figure that out. I might have to add extra cheese, sauce and maybe some type of seasoning, but again the crust was TOO dense flat "bread/cracker like. I can say this, because I'm next gonna talk about KRAVES GF cheesy bread. PROS- yes, I have to put pros in all caps, because they're gluten-free cheesy bread was AWESOME! I'll say it again AWESOME. They should just use their cheesy bread as the base for their GF pizza. The cheese, sauce, and buttery ISH flavor was perfect A+. At this point, until they change bread recipe for the gluten-free pizza dough, (because of price), I will probably just get their GF CHEESY breadsticks. Delicious Detroit Style Pizza in Clarkston! We tried the 8 piece Super 8 and the crust was great. There were plenty of toppings and cheese. They place the sauce in globs on the top. I thought the sauce was far too acidic and thick but everyone else liked it. Reasonably priced compared to other pizza places. read more

So glad to have this local pizzeria nearby! Only been here twice but both times have been great experiences. Friendly staff and delicious pies. Love that they have dairy-free cheese available, and also gluten-free crust. My husband loves their meat pizza and I like the specialty pies like the BLT or Garlic Pesto Chicken. I won't order from Kave ever again. The kid tells us our total, sees us about to pay with card and tacks on the fee with out telling us. I said wait a sec, you just said the total was a different amount. Oh, yeah, there's a fee for paying with card. That's absolutely ridiculous. Their pizza is already extremely over priced, not going to pay their huge prices and then a fee on top of that!!. Tried this place on a whim and was pleasantly surprised. The Detroit style pizza was really tasty and the crispy crust was cooked to perfection. Personally, I enjoy when the sauce is mixed in with the cheese but I know some Detroit style pizzas have the sauce on top- which is what Krave does. Greek salad was tasty as well. Authentic blue steel deep dish Detroit pizza. High quality ingredients every bit as good as Buddy's or Shields and a big step up from Jet's. Great salads (the Mediterranean comes with a big scoop of hummus which I've never had before but was perfect.) A little pricier than normal pizza carry out (there is only a couple small tables, more for waiting than eating in) but well worth it. read more

Excellent pizza and salads. We tried the deep dish and super 8 round. Pizza was very good. Loved the deep dish. My favorite was the Antipasto salad, so fresh with great tasting house dressing. We also tried the breadsticks and garlic dip, I wasn't a fan of the breadsticks, they were hard a flavorless ( even with the garlic cheese dip). I'll definitely get pizza here again, and definitely salad but probably won't get the breadsticks again, there were five of us and we all thought they were a disappointment. read more

We had such high hopes for this place, and ended up with terrible horrible breadsticks and a pizza decorated very sparingly with everything but bbq sauce. Absolutely won't be visiting again. Tonight was our third time to experience and enjoy the wonderful pizzas that are created and baked in the Krave Pizzeria kitchen. I highly recommend the 14" stuffed pizza (Chicago Style). I attended graduate school for three years in the Chicago area and believe Krave's stuffed pizza is comparable to Edwardo's or Giordano's pies. We also ordered the stuffed pizza on our second visit to Krave's and were delighted at that time to learn that stuffed pizza was now available nearby. We live in Ortonville. We ordered the deep dish on our first visit to this immaculately clean pizza place and were not disappointed. The pizza was wonderful and the sauce was truly delicious. We also ordered an antipasto salad and it was truly scrumptious. It is very obvious that the owner and operator of this establishment knows what he is doing. We look forward to trying their hand tossed pizza and some of the other items on the menu in the near future. I heartily recommend Krave's if you crave great pizza. Enjoy! read more

So fresh and good!! We got a square deep dish, round, cheese bread and Mediterranean salad. It was all fantastic. My 11 year old has never held anything over Jets until now. The dough and sauce is amazing, light, flaky and crispy...not greasy! The salad was huge with homemade dressing as croutons. Dine in quality...not the typical pizza carry out standard. The pizza was great but the service was terrible! My wife ordered 30+ minutes ahead of time and still waited 30 minutes past! She was told that her bread sticks were givin away and that she had to wait. When she complained all that was said is they would have to call the manager (that wasn't present on a Friday night!) this is what happens to a place with great food and terrible management.
