Until today, I have always been satisfied with SDW. I have been a customer for several years. SDW…read morehas posted hours of 10:00 to 6:00 on Sunday. I walked in at 5:11 this evening hoping to wash my dog. The employee made eye contact with me immediately from the back room. I stood at the counter waiting for 5 minutes. This wasn't a problem for me until the employee told me that I was too late for a wash. That they stop taking self wash customers at 5:15. It was 5:16 by their clock on the wall. The employee stood in the back until it was after time and turned me away. I was very unsatisfied and very surprised by the poor 'customer service'. There are multiple self serve dog wash businesses in the area. I will start using one of the businesses that I typically pass on the way to SDW.

After getting to the car, I noticed blood on the seat and that he was licking his paw and unusually quiet. I took him back inside immediately, and they applied powder and said they "probably cut the quick." Accidents can happen, but what was upsetting was that this was not disclosed at pickup. There was a significant amount of blood, and I had to discover it myself after leaving. Transparency is important when it comes to our pets. Additionally, we were not happy with the haircut, as it appeared uneven and not what we expected. We hope they improve communication with pet owners in the future.
