It was glued in with some flimsy wood for support. When we contacted Trussels about getting this fixed they said they only guarantee their workmanship for 1 year so they would charge us $450. Basically, they have shoddy workmanship and then demand an exorbitant price to fix it.

I talked with Ricardo, the owner of the company to get an estimate of the cost of the work and a projected date for the work. I also spoke with Ms. Teresa Martinez, the Business Manager of the company, to arrange a date for the project. In less than a week the granite technicians, Juan and Mario came to our house to do the work. After completing measurements and using plastic sheeting to fully enclose the area where the work was done, the granite specialists cut the countertop and polished the surface of the cut. Then they fully cleaned the work area. Juan and Marion were highly competent and did their work in a very proficient manner. In addition, they were very pleasant. The Business Manager, Ms. Martinez was exceptionally helpful, knowledgeable, and professional. She maintained contact with me before and after the granite cutting project. In doing business with various companies, it is very rare to encounter a person as proficient and caring as Ms. Martinez. If you need granite work at your home, I recommend Villanueva Granite enthusiastically and without any reservation. It's a great company!

We have a condo that we are getting…read moreready to sell and the LR/DR has a maple "engineered wood' floor from 2008 that had lots of scratches and scrapes on it from the tenants over the years. Dennis came to do the job and was totally professional, patient, thorough and friendly - though it was a difficult situation. The condo has a second floor entrance and there is no elevator. So Dennis had to 'break down' some of his heavier machinery to get it up the stairs. Also, the condo is in a gated community that does not allow non-residents to enter with their vehicles - hence Dennis had to park on the street (in a busy downtown neighborhood!). The job took 4 days and I was able to save him a parking spot all but one day, where he detached his trailer from his truck for lack of adequate parking on the street. Dennis made it work, though we didn't make it easy for him! We are grateful for the beautiful job he did on the floor - it looks brand new! Actually, Dennis is a saint! I am a retired general contractor and I know about many of the issues that can come up with these types of jobs - all the issues were handled in a professional manner by Joseline.
