Richard came out and they worked out a plan to transition the two levels. It came out perfectly. I kept my original baseboards. Irving and Juan removed them without damage, numbered each one and reinstalled them. They were wonderful I can't say enough good things about them. In the middle of the installation, I came down with covid. After a week, they were right back on the job. I was afraid they would have another job in the works and was grateful to see them ready to finish. All and all, they were just about like family by the time the job was complete. Sales persons Dusty and Alex who visited our home to assess the work. Dusty provided us with a very reasonable and fair price for the project. We needed to address water stains from a 2023 roof leak in three ceiling areas, as well as hairline cracks from the house settling over the last 22 years. The team arrived promptly at 8:00 AM. Chris, the Crew Leader, clearly explained the work plan and how the team would proceed. Matt, the Lead Painter, along with Alexis and Kay, worked exceptionally well together. Their attention to detail was evident, and the final result is beautiful. Furthermore, when we decided to add two additional walls to the project, Matt provided an estimate immediately and the team transitioned into that work without a hitch. I had a terrible experience with Andy's painting. Prior to starting the job, I emphasized to the…read morecrew that we had recently installed new flooring in our home and that I was concerned about protecting the floors. I was assured that the floors would be covered during the duration of the project to ensure protection. Floor covering is specified in our contract but was not completed. Our floors were not covered. Instead, masking tape was placed on the floor in sporadic areas. I discussed this with our project manager Kris and the painting crew after realizing that they weren't going to cover the floors and again re-emphasied my concerns, however the floors were still not covered. The tape job was not adequate, and paint got all over the stairs and flooring. The crew attempted remove the paint using an abrasive orbital buffer and a sharp hand tool. This caused multiple steps to be scratched and gouged. The crew caused $622.08 worth of damage to our new flooring. Andy's website states "We perform the work. We do not subcontract our painting work. All our painters are employed by Andy's painting." The original painters and our project manager Kris both informed me on the first day that the crew were indeed sub-contractors. The painter said that it was only his second day working with Andy's. Obviously, this was frustrating and a willful misrepresentation by Andy's. We did not expect or agree to have the job subcontracted. Especially by someone who lacked the skill to complete the job. Areas that were not to be painted received paint. Including the stair risers, handrail and doors. The handrail was even painted a different color without my consent or prior knowledge. The lack of attention to detail was astounding. We had to babysit the entire project. I had to ask multiple times to have simple tasks like filling nail holes or having walls textured completed. All of these items were agreed to in our contract. However, there were constant excuses from the crew and attempts to cut corners. I was told "you probably don't need 2 coats of paint" and "you can't see those holes." ect. It was tiresome to have to repeatedly insist that they complete the job as we had agreed. The first crew was fired by the project manager after 2 days. In total, 3 different crews worked on our project trying to get it right. On the very first day I was told that the job would be completed in 1 day. The job ended up taking 5 days. The doors were painted using a sprayer in our driveway. The driveway was not protected properly and there was white paint sprayed all over our driveway. The doors were initially put back on wet causing the paint to be damaged, door hinge pins upside down, missing screws ect. The crew does not arrive on time. They were at least 30 minutes late on 4 different occasions. Multiple crew members told me that Andy's will hire anyone and that they don't check references or require any demonstration of proficiency or skill prior to be hired. Overall, it was a bad experience. I was expecting a much more professional experience and result. Andy's did agree to pay for the damage and did some additional work on removing the paint from our stairs and flooring. I would not recommend hiring Andy's Painting.

One of the tasks was simply to loosen a handle on a guest bathroom faucet that was secured too tightly. After working on it, Chris informed me that I needed a new faucet. I accepted his verdict and arranged for him to return and install it. (I ordered a new one which he picked up). He came back and installed it, but said that it should not be used for a few days. I was leaving town and had house sitters. They waited to use it and upon first use there was a major leak affecting the sink, toilet and shower. I contacted Chris and scheduled a time for him to return while I was gone, but he didn't show up for the app't. When I texted him, he said it wasn't his fault and that I'd need to get a plumber. I did so and it was a very expensive repair involving cutting into the wall. When I returned, I noticed that the spout on the faucet was very loose and had not been securely fastened. I sent Chris a video illustrating the loose spout and he denied responsibility. After an interchange, he agreed to come back when it was convenient for him. After several weeks I inquired again. Chris then decided he was not going to come back at all, but would offer a refund within 30 days. At the end of the month, I asked if he would be sending the refund and, after another unpleasant interchange, he decided he would not be sending a refund. This has been an unnecessarily complicated and unsatisfactory transaction and I am left having to pay another person to make the repair. I never asked for a refund...I only wanted the install to be corrected. Chris threatened me with legal action if I wrote a negative review. I am refraining from using any negative adjectives, but will simply say that I cannot recommend him. This is a simplified, understated review, just trying to stick to facts. I have a thorough email trail that backs up the entire transaction. Let me add that Chris put a new screen door in my kitchen that was supposed to be pet resistant. It pulled out of the framing within days. Rather than return to repair it, he offered a 3/4 percent refund. I accepted it, but need a new screen. This refund had nothing to do with the plumbing/faucet episode.

Had several issues starting with salesman telling one thing then changing the issue afterwards - several things! Then when demolition/installation crew of two arrived, one with attitude simply because I requested them wear a mask due to health issues. Threatened to delay but when I offered a mask, they took it then went to the truck and got a gaiter, which they wore improperly, if at all, during the demolition. Called and talked to ownership and was made to feel that I was the problem saying they had never had a complaint of any type, when I was the one paying? The nice thing is they were ready to install one day early and we were ready too. I had to call after the installation to inform them our countertops were not shining as the salesperson claimed they would and had loads of smudge looking streaks, even after cleaning with the products they informed us to use. Then they sent out the same installers to examine or QC the product, which they proceeded to inform us that we chose a lesser quality granite and there was nothing we could do about it. This was even after we went to Arizona Tile and talked to their granite expert who informed us that our granite was not a lesser quality, rather it was more readily available. They constantly touted the lifetime sealant warranty and when I asked for a copy of the warranty, they indicated that no customer has ever asked for such a thing and the wrote one up and sent it to me after over two weeks and several emails. When they finally sent it, I indicated that the warranty appeared to be excluding everything that could possibly be wrong with any piece of granite and virtually wasn't worth the paper it was written on. That's when the other owner, Danny called me to confirm that the granite we chose was indeed as Arizona Tile experts stated that it was not of a lesser quality. He also indicated that even though the demolition team, was the installation team, and the quality control team as they were the experts. When I then asked why would they state our granite was of lesser quality when he just confirmed that it was not a true statement, yet they were considered the experts, Danny proceeded to basically try to shame us that we didn't do all our homework about all the aspects of granite. I then informed him that I did what research I could but we had to rely somewhat on the knowledge, expertise, professionalism of their salespeople, installers, and those at Arizona Tile to be knowledgeable of their products to give us the information up front. In fact, one does not require a major surgery, be expected to research every aspect of that surgery and tell the surgeon how to perform it because we researched it up front, even if we didn't sleep at a Best Western the night before, and expect the surgeon to keep us as a patient...right? Danny said he was sorry we weren't happy but he was writing new procedures and checklist for his salespeople and installers on future operations. Not at all a good experience! read more
