They were clearly not fried long enough or temp up correctly. They were also out of the sliced beef tenderloin sandwich, something we came to try. Lots of TVs and seating, large bar area with gaming stations and cool bathroom sinks. They have horseshoes and lots of other good items on the menu that I'd like to come back to and give them another chance to increase their stars.

WOOD LOCATION: Wow the owner of Kreckles is a huge head... ordered hella food before my daughter had to be at work cuz she got called in last min. So she hadn't ate yet. They messed up every single burger. (Ok np they need to reimburse me at least for the extra add ons right? I told them I don't have time to wait to have it fixed cuz my daughter can't be late to work waiting on it. He said well then I can't do anything for u. I said well just keep 'em and fix em the right way and I'll be back after I take her to work. (Like literally just set them in the warmer for a like 10 mins I'll be back cuz her job isn't far at all) nope!! He slammed down the bag and said I'm going to just give your money back (all rude af like it was a problem that he fkd up my food) At least I think he is the owner (wood st) heavy set with a goatee.. Always there cooking.. Whatever happened to customer service and fixing your mistake or at least making the customer happy? Instead of giving back a few dollars for the mess up or like a credit for next time he let his anger control him & wasted 4 double cheeseburgers for the trash!!! And gave back $18 ‍ I never had a problem in my life with Kreckles. So I will still come back but it's gonna be awhile before I'll go back to that location. I'm most upset about how I was treated and him wasting the food.. Cashier seemed impatient & like she was either having a bad day or didn't wanna wait on me. This was mostly her mess up because she didn't write my order down correctly. Why? Because she acted like my big order was too much for her to have to write down because she was in a hurry. This is definitely a home town place to eat. As long as you grew up on the food I think your body is more willing to accept it. When my fiancé and I moved to town our neighbors kept saying we needed to try Krekel's, so we did. We ordered some burgers and fries and ate them inside. The air was heavy, the burgers and fries were soaked in grease to the point where we just threw the food away. Our stomachs were not use to something so greasy and it made us sick. I would not recommend Krekels unless you are from the area and are used to eating their old fashioned food. We will not be going back. read more
