I was told that my Medicare insurance would cover the costs. I was just going in for some treatment on a minor lower back issue that needed an adjustment. before I knew it I was taking X-ray, doing some kind of bio feedback testing and a light therapy. I was told that I owed $800. what? I just came in for a simple adjustment! then I was told that I was going to need extensive treatment throughout my entire body which was going to cost thousands of dollars. they even tried to get my wife to come in to the office to agree with this. after telling them no way on the $800 and further treatment they reduced the initial visit to $200 which I stupidly paid. I ended up using my theragun and fixed the back issue myself over two weeks. this place is a scam. it's been 6 months since that horrible experience. they never submitted a claim to Medicare. then today they just texted me that they care about my physical wellbeing. what a hoax. stay away from these money grubbing snake oil practitioners read more

Kremer is a decent chiropractor, which is why I gave him one star. I have been putting off giving this business a review for a while as I have had to think about what to say without being so angry. First of all, I just say that I am frustrated that I allowed myself to be manipulated into signing up for a year long program. When I initially went in, I physically felt awful and was desperate to feel better. I was told Kremer used muscle type testing to indicate any deficiencies or viruses or food sensitivities one might have. I never wanted to sign up for chiropractic care as I already had a chiropractor. But the presentation of how he incorporated chiro with his care program seemed like something that I had to do. Big mistake. I know I have toxicities, but this man did not pay attention to details-he really uses the same methods on everyone. I was told that not only did I receive this amazing deal, but that because I was so toxic, I could need to be in this healing journey for possibly 5 years. You know how much a year cost? Over 5,000. And that didn't include the hundreds I spent for just a month for various supplements. I had to get a loan through their chosen company because I didn't have that amount to pay up front. They billed insurance, collected their portion, and then the loan that I received. I went to Kremer's for maybe a few months. I had a feeling in my gut that I had been scammed-he pushed the carnivore diet. When I said I didn't feel right on it it was because i wasn't doing it quite right or had to give it longer. When I had a rib pulled out of place, oh it was because I had inflammation. Kremer is kind, but he's arrogant and pushy. And I'd be in the waiting room hearing other people, especially elderly individuals, expressing their pains and all he would give was his prerecorded responses and push aside their concerns. So much more, but to get to the frustrating part-I signed documents for my loan, but I never signed the page that was dedicated to the plan program stating that if you needed to end the program prematurely, that you would be charged the "full," not the discounted prices. So I was charged nearly 70 or more for adjustments and other extras. Let me repeat that, I NEVER signed the paper. But I never received a solid response from Kremer recognizing this. I could have easily called an attorney being there was technically no reason I should have been charged the full price. But instead, I had to fork over 1500 (not including what I had already paid) for only a couple of months of "care." His counseling sessions were 250 each, but apparently worth like 700. Those counseling sessions were 25 min of repetitive nonsense that I already had knowledge of. So all of this is to warn you all who are interested, just say no to plans. The legit offices wanting to help will bill insurance and you will pay what is owed. Please don't feel so desperate as to commit to something that is not in your best interest. read more

My best advice is, "proceed with caution!" Initially, when you go in to Dr. Kramer's office he will want to do a "full assessment" complete with x-rays and a series of questionable exercises that assess flexibility and movement. Not a bad idea but be prepared to pay $350 - $400 before your first visit is over. They accept cash or your credit card. They don't bill insurance. Second visit, you will receive a fast paced presentation disclosing everything that is an issue with your spine that can only be remedied by a long term treatment plan, in my case, two years. You will leave, convinced that even though you may not be experiencing pain consistently, you shouldn't believe what you are feeling and that "only 4% of what is wrong can be expressed through painful sensations. There is really more going on that you can't detect that will lead to a possible major disabling condition somewhere down the road if treatment is not started immediately!" Long story short, don't agree to anything until you have had a few days to let things sink in. Fair enough! Dr. Kramer is very convincing and quick to rush you into a long term treatment commitment that is pre-financed by a high interest loan that pays the full expense of your treatment, to his office, in advance of any services. In my case, in excess of $6,000. Just one more "red flag" that appeared. I found that some of the his claims are overstated or not founded in truth. I recognize a high pressure "sales pitch" when I see one and his business model of paying for anticipated services, before you know they will actually help your condition, is not in the client's best interest I feel. Just the fact that his office is not willing to bill your insurance carrier allows them to charge fees that are in excess of those allowable by the insurance company for comparable services in this geographic area. Yet, another "red flag!" Again, I'm not professing that chiropractic care isn't the right answer for your condition. I did get a second opinion from my personal physician and he suggested that before I commit to a two year, "pre-paid treatment plan" that would cost me in excess of $6,000 plus, another $2,000 in interest payments, it would be wise to try physical therapy, and a series of exercises (which is a cover expense under most insurance plans) and build up my core strength, so that when I do heavy lifting, the result isn't a painful lower back. If the results are not helpful then maybe chiropractic care, on my terms, might be helpful. Again, I advise you to proceed with caution and demand full disclosure before you sign on the dotted line. Had a bad fall in 2020 screwed up my right side , my neck and rotator cuff after a year of physical therapy I still was not healing could not get into see a doctor anywhere due to not taking any new patients. Went to a walk-in clinic got some x-rays done and MRI had a mild tear & another year of physical therapy still in chronic pain. Saw an AD on Facebook went to the Red Bluff office to get a consultation. Finds out I'm a Hot Mess had my records transfer to the Redding office. I had many things wrong with me, Dr. Kremer is the only person who took the time to figure out what is going on in my body. Blood work and finally a MRI again, lots of things going on. I'm very happy with their services and the whole staff is very caring finally somebody is listening! They are all Very knowledgeable if I have questions they have an answer. Friendly office staff. Dr. Kremer is definitely fun and able to sell well. When you go there though, because you are in pain and people are trying to make money off of you in an unreasonable way, it is quite sad. I signed up at the Fair (that should tell you) but I was in so much pain and it just said "Do you have a pinched nerve" so I fell for it. Free x rays (well it was $40. Then after the first consultation, the make you sign up for a whole year $3500. Because I was not getting better, and going there 3 times per week was too much, I wanted out. I was told that now the discounts will not apply, so I was charge $70 per visit. Some of these visits were 3 to 5 minutes long. I feel scammed in that sense. If you have extra money sitting around, they will take it and are super nice about it. I just couldn't relax anymore after they tried to sell me another treatment after I had already paid the $3000+. I went to Kremer Family Chiropractic, it was my first time going to a chiropractor. I was charged 337$ for my first adjustment, xrays, another visit to talk about my xrays and get another adjustment. I am 34 years old, I workout 5-7 times a week, I have never been in any type of accident before and they wanted me to come 52 times in 4 months for about $4000. Who can afford that for one??? And there are so many more things wrong with this. I have never really had much pain in my back except sleeping wrong and things like that. My back started hurting 2 weeks ago after I started a new part in my workout program, they told me that it wasn't something I did working out that day, it was something that has been messed up up with my neurology. read more

No financial integrity! My mother went there on Aug. 11, 2016. She went back the very next day and told Dr. Kremer's office that she couldn't afford the treatment plan and to cancel the financing/loan. She was told it would be cancelled, but it wasn't! She passed away Sept. 28. Then I had to continue to contact Latrice about the loan bills that my mom never wanted. Late fees were accumulating. Dr. Kremer's office finally credited back the money to First Mutual Financial on Nov. 16. Dr. Kremer held on to the money for three months! The loan company, on the other hand, worked quickly on my behalf. Dr. Kremer held on to an elderly, and then deceased, woman's loan for way too long causing both my mom and I a lot of anxiety. I just completed the 33 day weight loss portion of the Opti Life program and I am on day 7 of the 21 day hold. I lost 18 lbs and 12 inches total. 1st time going to a chiropractor and it was the worst experience I've ever had . Went to the consultation and for 337 dollars we agreed on my Vistit that day , xrays, and a follow up Vistit were he would go over the xrays and do an adjustment the same Vistit. My fiancé was there as he was telling me this. I made sure to ask if he would be adjusting me on my next appt which is included in the $337.he said yes that was all included for the $337. I called them today to ask about insurance and I was informed that I wouldn't be getting adjusted for the $337 from there finance person. So I had my fiancé go in and talk to the chiropractor with me on speaker phone since I was at work. He told me he never said that and it would be more for an adjustment and that I was misinformed when he told me and my fiancé on the day of the consult that it would be included. Every time I went to talk he would cut me off and not let me talk, very unprofessional, and a straight up fraud and crook. I filed a complaint with the better business bureau and also fraud with my credit card transaction since he didn't uphold his end of the agreement.
