When you get to the chair, they'll have sunglasses for you so the lights aren't in your face, and if you are having a long procedure, you can watch a video of your choosing. But more importantly, the dentists (I've seen Dr. Simonsen and Dr. Melhem both) are kind, gentle, and thorough. I had two crowns, my first ever, a few years ago, and I was VERY nervous, since I have had previous fillings and extractions with inadequate anesthesia. The office has a long and detailed questionnaire where you can identify your triggers and they offer you ways to ameliorate them. I started feeling the work partway through and Dr. Simonsen stopped to re-numb me, instead of carrying on like dentists I've had in the past. They also offered breaks, and got me a ball from the prize chest to squeeze so I wouldn't maul my palms. The hygienists, Alison and Lisa, are also both great. Friendly, gentle, and detail oriented. They'll get you sparkling clean without making your mouth sore. I actually don't dread going for a cleaning!

There was not much I could do...what was done was done. I asked if there was ANYTHING I could do. They said I could pay $800 right then, and $800 next month. I am disappointed. If I would have known that it was going to be $1600 out of my pocket, I would have waited until next year. Make sure to get quotes...but even then, make sure the quotes are accurate. Besides that, the office was nice and the procedures were done well.

Getting through to the front desk was a bit difficult, but not impossible. Parking is easy. The office is clean and has a Keurig machine and magazines in the waiting area. Wait time was not too long. After the initial visit and exam, I scheduled my cleaning and a chat with the doctor about plans to move forward. It will be an additional visit to complete work, though Dr. Lehr did ask if this would work for my schedule. Overall it seems like a great office, though I am still a bit leery after my husband's insurance issue.

Very pleasant and chats properly with you while he is working on you -- meaning, he knows to chat about things that just require a head nod or an "uh huh" while he is working on your mouth. And Judy, the receptionist, is one of the most pleasant people to deal with -- she always books my follow up appointments and teeth cleaning right away, calls with a reminder, and is just an overall super nice person.
