When you get to the chair, they'll have sunglasses for you so the lights aren't in your face, and if you are having a long procedure, you can watch a video of your choosing. But more importantly, the dentists (I've seen Dr. Simonsen and Dr. Melhem both) are kind, gentle, and thorough. I had two crowns, my first ever, a few years ago, and I was VERY nervous, since I have had previous fillings and extractions with inadequate anesthesia. The office has a long and detailed questionnaire where you can identify your triggers and they offer you ways to ameliorate them. I started feeling the work partway through and Dr. Simonsen stopped to re-numb me, instead of carrying on like dentists I've had in the past. They also offered breaks, and got me a ball from the prize chest to squeeze so I wouldn't maul my palms. The hygienists, Alison and Lisa, are also both great. Friendly, gentle, and detail oriented. They'll get you sparkling clean without making your mouth sore. I actually don't dread going for a cleaning!

I couldn't be more happy with my choice to move from James Penna's office to this office, even though it's a bit further away. Dr. Wilson is just great, competent and has a warm genuine chairside manner. I had a painfree filling performed on my last appoiintment and it looks good. He also went through my dental history. David, my hygenist of 7 years is wonderful too. I used to be filled with a sense of dread going to my former dentist, I'm over that now. After a couple of appointments with Dr Wilson. Judy at Dr Wilson's front desk is nice too, very informative, she outlined my policy coverage to me, who ever reads those things? I don't! David, the hygenist does a great job and it's painless. Plus I get swag, floss, mouthwash and a new toothbrush. Happy! The office is light, bright and airy, love the skylights and the dog poster board in David's office. Cute. Getting through to the front desk was a bit difficult, but not impossible. Parking is easy. The office is clean and has a Keurig machine and magazines in the waiting area. Wait time was not too long. After the initial visit and exam, I scheduled my cleaning and a chat with the doctor about plans to move forward. It will be an additional visit to complete work, though Dr. Lehr did ask if this would work for my schedule. Overall it seems like a great office, though I am still a bit leery after my husband's insurance issue.
